¡Un conductor maravilloso!
Llegué a Luxor en un vuelo de EgyptAir desde Londres, haciendo escala en El Cairo. Sin embargo, por mucho que esperé, mi equipaje nunca apareció. Resultó que mi equipaje se había perdido. Llevó cerca de una hora completar el papeleo en la oficina. Gracias a nuestra comunicación por WhatsApp, el conductor me esperó todo el tiempo. Me recibió con una sonrisa, y esa sonrisa nunca se desvaneció hasta que terminó el tour. Ya fuera rechazando tiendas de recuerdos y restaurantes para comer, pidiendo dinero prestado en el Valle de los Reyes, saltándonos una visita al Templo de la reina Hatshepsut, o decidiendo simplemente ver el Templo de Luxor desde fuera... quedé verdaderamente encantado de haber conocido a un conductor tan maravilloso.

Ahmed Kassem the best Egyptologist!!
Ahmed Kassem the Egyptologist was the highlight of our trip to Luxor. He has a great wealth of knowledge of all the temples, he was the perfect balance of giving information and letting us explore for ourselves. He was very thoughtful allowing us time to cool down during the heat, we had a great laugh with him throughout the day and we left with a great understanding of the history of this city and some great photos and memories. This guy was the best. Cannot recommend Ahmed enough. Absolute legend.

We love Ahmed Kassem!
Ahmed Kassem is the absolute BEST! From beginning to end, every moment was well thought out and catered for. He covered every highlight of the city perfectly and we can safely say it is probably one of the best sightseeing tours we have ever done. He is super knowledgeable, friendly, and easygoing. We would highly recommend booking with him!

担当してくれたドライバーさんが悪い訳ではないが、頼んでもないのにぼったくりのお土産物屋に連れて行かれたり（無料の飲み物を振舞い流暢な日本語で勧めてくる店員がいてかなり周到。消しゴムサイズのカノプス1個で25ドルとか言われます。）、ランチはドライバー手配の若干お高めの店に連れて行かれます（セット700lbドリンク代別）。
旅行前にネットで調べたらルクソールはUber使えず代わりのインドライブやカリームも捕まらないと書かれており怖くなり利用しましたが、着いてみたらインドライブが快適に利用できたので正直不用でした。インドライブの運転手は高確率で1日チャーターを勧めてきました。相場は人数ではなく1台20〜25ドル位を言ってきました。
交渉が得意ならそちらの利用をお勧めします。

No traslado al hotel. No agua.
Lo pasé muy muy mal porque el conductor del transporte no me llevó a mi hotel porque decía que estaba cerca y que fuera caminando. A 44°C me dió un mareo y casi me da una insolación!!!! Además, nadie (ni la guía ni el conductor) me proporcionó agua en ningún momento!!! Esto es inadmisible y puso en riesgo mi salud!!! Por el contrario, la guía me lo explicó todo perfecto.

Incredible full-day tour of the East and West Banks with Khalid!
We had an amazing full-day tour covering both the East and West Banks, and Khalid was a fantastic driver for us! Traveling as a family of two adults and our young child, we decided to start the tour bright and early in the morning so we could arrive right at the opening of the places we wanted to visit.
Khalid's car had great air conditioning, which is an absolute must during the heavy heat of Luxor’s summer! Even though he speaks just a little bit of English, we had really good conversations together and thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him. He was also super accommodating—whenever we needed bottled water, he always made sure to get some for us. Highly recommend booking him if you need a reliable, friendly driver for your sightseeing in Luxor!
