Breathtaking!
Great experience! Even though it was -obviously- a touristy set up, we got a whiff of life outside of planet resort ;-) Nature - desert and hill landscape was breathtaking! Absolutely recommended.

Very interesting to come...
Very interesting to come and see the beduinvillage. Good information about the stars and planets. The jeeptrip in the desert to the village was a little bit to fast for me. Jumping up and down in the Jeep. All people very friendly and help ful.

Fun, knowledgeable and safe
This trip is so worth the small price it costs.
From the driver to the guide such a professional and fun experience.
Star gazing was breathtaking with a very knowledgeable astronomer

Great experience
Highly recommend this tour, the Jeep ride in the desert was excillerating, Visiting the bedowen village was great, good food followed by stargazing by a very knowledgeable team who went out of their way to explain the galaxy and take photos for us

So so
My husband and I were extremely disappointed with this excursion. Uncomfortable Jeep. Unwelcome place. Very precarious dinner. And we could not see the stars, because it was very cold, so much so that we sought shelter in the Jeep itself, waiting for the rest of the group.
Furthermore, when a tourist books an excursion and pays online, he is not required to pay an additional sum for transportation from the hotel where he is staying to the place of the event. I had specified the hotel where we were staying, already in the reservation, and I do not agree with having to pay an extra sum for the pick-up at the destination.

Great trip packed with activities.
Pick up was prompt at 14:30 in a 4 wheel drive Toyota Land Cruiser. The one slight downside for us was that we then had to drive to El Gouna to pick up some more guests. It took around 1 hour for us to get to the start point of our desert safari. The Jeeps each hold 8 guests and there were a few of them, perhaps 7 or 8, on our tour. We drove through the desert for about an hour. The ride was a little bumpy and the driver made it exciting by driving up and over dunes. We arrived at the Bedouin camp and our guide David explained the plan for the day. He also introduced Ibrahim, our astronomy guide. We started with a welcome cup of tea followed by the chance to ride a camel. The ride wasn’t very long but was a great photo opportunity. There were 2 photographers there taking photos all the time which we were able to purchase at a very reasonable price (via a link to google drive). A Bedouin lady was also giving a demonstration of bread making and we got to sample the fresh made bread, delicious! Then up to the hill top to watch the sunset which was stunning. Back down again and a BBQ dinner was served. Rice, salad, vegetables, chicken and kofta washed down by some Egyptian champagne (coca cola) very flavoursome. Next was stargazing. They set up 2 big telescopes and we got a chance to look at the moon through them. The detail was fantastic, you could see craters and hills. Then an opportunity to have your picture taken with the stars which was included in the picture package price of 10 euros. Ibrahim then pointed out various things of interest in the night sky such as the North Star and various constellations such as Taurus and Aries. Finally the drive back through the dark desert and a return to our hotel. A packed agenda but worth doing even with the extended pick up time. We loved it and would definitely recommend.

To see the stars
Great experience for the price but not any good for older people as lots bumps in road getting there and would never be able to climb up hill to see sun set but staff were great and we had a good time

Great trip.
