Experiencia decepcionante con el guía: no recomendable.
Reservamos un tour privado desde Safaga a Luxor a través de Viator. El conductor en el camino fue muy amable y cortés, lo cual le valió muchos elogios. Desafortunadamente, nuestro guía de día, Mohamed, arruinó toda la experiencia. Al principio se presentó como una persona cariñosa y orientada a la familia, pero resultó ser manipulador. Con el pretexto de protegernos de ser estafados, nos llevó deliberadamente a tiendas para turistas con precios excesivos (por ejemplo, de joyería), donde nos presionaron mucho para que compráramos algo. Su comportamiento era condescendiente, irrespetuoso y a menudo incluso ligeramente agresivo, por ejemplo, si apartábamos brevemente la mirada de él o le hablábamos.
En el Valle de los Reyes, quedamos completamente abrumados por la avalancha de información bajo un calor de 40 grados. Mohamed no nos preguntó activamente si queríamos visitar la tumba de Tutankamón, aunque sólo lo mencionó brevemente una vez al principio. Sólo al final del día, cuando le preguntamos, afirmó que nos habíamos negado, lo cual no era cierto. La tarea de un buen guía es proporcionar información clara en este punto y, si es necesario, plantear más preguntas.
El segundo conductor en Luxor era taciturno, poco profesional y ni siquiera se presentó. En general, lamentablemente fue una experiencia muy desagradable y decepcionante. Recomiendo encarecidamente pedir a este proveedor un guía diferente al de Mohamed, o elegir un tour completamente diferente.

Amazing Luxor day tour
Great day trip to Luxor from Hurghada. Excellent guide both in knowledge and expertise and safety. Mr Ahmed Elaziz was outstanding. Took us back to Hurghada and shared lots of photos he had taken during the day. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟guide and tour!

Fantástico día explorando Luxor con Abdul y Ahmed!
Tuvimos un día fantástico explorando los increíbles lugares de interés de Luxor. Nuestro guía turístico, Abdul, era absolutamente brillante — tan conocedor, atractivo y apasionado por la historia de Egipto, que hizo que cada parada fuera fascinante. Nuestro conductor, Ahmed, fue igualmente maravilloso — cortés, paciente, y se aseguró de que viajáramos con comodidad durante todo el día.
Dado el calor, realmente apreciamos el suministro regular de bebidas frías, y el delicioso almuerzo proporcionado fue un verdadero placer. Uno de los puntos destacados fue el paseo en barco por el Nilo, que ofrece impresionantes vistas y una refrescante brisa. Sin embargo, el punto más destacado para nosotros fue el recorrido por el Templo de Karnak —verdaderamente asombrado— inspirador y revivido por la narración de Abdul.
En general, un viaje fantástico, bien organizado con un equipo brillante. Muy recomendable!

A Grand Day Out!
Fantastic day exploring Luxor with Abdul and Ahmed!
We had a fantastic day exploring the incredible sights of Luxor. Our tour guide, Abdul, was absolutely brilliant—so knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Egyptian history, which made every stop fascinating. Our driver, Ahmed, was equally wonderful—courteous, patient, and made sure we travelled in comfort throughout the day.
Given the heat, we really appreciated the regular supply of cold drinks, and the delicious lunch provided was a real treat. One of the highlights was the boat ride across the Nile, offering stunning views and a refreshing breeze. However, the absolute standout for us was the tour of the Temple of Karnak—truly awe-inspiring and brought to life by Abdul’s storytelling.
Overall, a fantastic, well-organised trip with a brilliant team. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour, service and guide
I booked this tour a few days in advance and had to change the date last minute as my partner had some tummy issues 😁 prompt communication and no issue changing the date, which was very much appreciated by us. On the day of the tour we got picked up just before 5 and had a smooth drive with comfort stops. Once in Luxor we met another driver who’d take us round for the day and we met our guide El Tayeb (LT), who was truly amazing to have around all day. He patiently told us what to look out for, the history and so much more. He took pictures of us and really guided us along which made for an unforgettable day. There is water or soft drinks on offer all day and the driver even stopped to get us ice cream. The car was comfortable, airconditioned and you can leave anything the car that you do not want to carry around all day.
Thank you for a long but worthwhile and unforgettable day. We would not have wanted to miss it.

Best tour ever
I'm a travel consultant and my clients did this tour with you today. Since they’re currently abroad in Egypt, they asked me to leave this review on their behalf. They gave it 5 stars! They were absolutely thrilled with the experience. The guide was amazing — did the whole tour in Portuguese, super kind and friendly. The driver was also very attentive. They loved everything! Fantastic Tour of Luxor.
It was a long day but an unforgettable experience. Our private driver was the smoothest I have ever had. Our guide for the day was Shrehan who was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the history behind each part of the tour and was patient with all our questions. I think having our own guide meant we gained a lot more from the experience. Our trip on the Nile was wonderful with the two young boys who took us getting us dancing and celebrating as we travelled along the river. We returned after a very long and tiring day with memories that will last us a lifetime.

La experiencia fue tal cual...
La experiencia fue como se describe en el paquete. Teníamos 2 conductores, uno para llevarnos a y desde Luxor y otro para llevarnos en Luxor con el guía. El viaje fue muy suave y pudimos dormir hasta y desde Luxor. Samira fue nuestra guía durante las visitas a los sitios. Ella era muy amable y conocedor de la historia detrás de los sitios. Sin duda la recomendaría.
