Breathtaking trip with Prof Ahmed Elsisi.
Wow. An unforgettable experience and one of the best days of our lives.
Blown away completely by it.
Our driver Ahmed Saleah picked us up from Hurghada and was brilliant and highly professional.
Our tour guide Prof. Ahmed Elsisi was a charming guide, extremely knowledgeable and full of information which was delivered in an easy to understand and at times humour. He clearly had so much more to tell us but kept it within our own knowledge so as not to overwhelm.
The balloon trip was simply great and my wife's favourite bit. The numerous temples and the palaces we visited were amazing.
All in all this trip was one of our bucket list wishes and there were many moments that were real pinch me moments and the memories will last a life time. Thank you.

The best thing to come out of Egypt since Mo Salah!
Where to start! This was by far the best tour I have taken and I’ve taken many around the world. Incredible value and bang for your buck!
We were picked up promptly and driven from our hotel in Hurghada to Luxor in a modern air conditioned car. Our driver Mahmoud, who was with us throughout our tour was thoughtful, safe and the ultimate professional opening doors and providing unlimited cold drinks.
We arrived in Luxor where we were warmly welcomed by Professor Ahmed Elsisi (The Prof as my wife and I named him) our expert guide and Egyptologist. He is one of the most knowledgeable and warm human beings you will ever meet. The best thing to come out of Egypt since Mo Salah!!
Arriving at around 7pm he took us to a local eatery and then whizzed us around the breathtaking Luxor Temple before dropping us at our perfectly adequate budget hotel.
We were picked up by the balloon company at 4.30am and taken to the launch area. Words cannot describe sunrise in a hot air balloon over the Valley of the Kings so I’ll attach a photo.
The rest of the day was over to The Prof. He knew everyone and was clearly liked and respected by everyone from the other tour guides to the hawkers and the toilet attendants. He never bombarded us with facts but rather told a story and brought these incredible historic sites to life. A real sage. We felt lucky to have spent this time with him. We toured the Valley of the Kings and all the other major sights - just breathtaking.
Legacy Tours were efficient and everything ran like clockwork. They obviously choose their partners and employees well and know their onions!

Wow. Wow. Wow. I rarely write reviews but I couldn’t ignore writing a review for what has been the tour of a lifetime. From start to finish, everything has been perfect. Legacy Tours have communicated efficiently at every step of the way to ensure our trip was exactly as we wished for it to be.
We had originally planned a single day trip but Legacy Tours amended this to an overnight tour, and we are delighted they did. Luxor Temple in the evening, away from the heat and madness was staggering (and having a decent rest before the busy day ahead was much appreciated).
Our driver, Mahmoud - what a superstar. Driving proficiently, safely and such good company - and with total comfort (and cold drinks en route)! Nothing was too much trouble, even when we asked for a coffee stop. I could not recommend him enough… you are in safe and kind hands.
However, our guide and Egyptologist was the legend that is Professor ‘The Prof’ Ahmed Elsisi - he is the cherry on top of the icing. His knowledge, warmth, humour, professionalism and passion is quite something to behold. I have never felt more assured, better led or as cared for as we did with our new lovely friend ‘The Prof’.
The trip itself: incredible. The balloon ride was like something out of the movies: picturesque, serene, totally emotional! Our pilot was brilliant - fun, professional, experienced, happy. From a girl who doesn’t do heights, you would never know you were off the ground. If you ever want to experience a hot-air balloon ride, Luxor is the place to do it (the views at sunrise over The Valley of The Kings… oh my!).
From start to finish, the whole experience was unparalleled by any tour I’ve ever been on - with our own photoshoot (literally, our own shoot!), great food, the planned tour, the storytelling (by The Prof) and the mind-blowing monuments, tombs, history and art work. Sailing on our private boat on the Nile and seeing King Tut and his tomb were just the extra bonus.
I have always wanted to go to Egypt to see the pyramids (which I now have), but I would easily recommend Luxor as a place to visit too (and we will definitely be back to see more of Luxor).

Paseo en globo aerostático con visita guiada al valle de los reyes
Nuestro profesor guía Ahmed Elsisi estaba muy bien informado e hizo la experiencia divertida e interesante.
La experiencia de principio a fin fue de primera clase desde nuestro conductor que nos llevó a Luxor desde Hurghada hasta el piloto y el personal de tierra en el globo aerostático. En un día excepcionalmente caluroso, nuestras necesidades fueron atendidas en todos los sentidos.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden! Die Ballonfahrt bei Sonnenaufgang war traumhaft – sicher, stressfrei und wunderschön organisiert. Der erfahrene Kapitän und der freundliche Fotograf (bereitgestellt von Lagancy) machten das Erlebnis perfekt.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir unseren Reiseleiter Mark: Er spricht ausgezeichnet Deutsch, ist herzlich, fürsorglich und verfügt über beeindruckendes historisches Wissen – genau dosiert und auf unsere Interessen abgestimmt. Selbst unser 9-jähriger Sohn war begeistert vom Tal der Könige, obwohl wir vorher Zweifel hatten, ob es für ihn spannend genug wäre. Seine Fotos und Videos mit Musik waren das i-Tüpfelchen.
Auch unser Fahrer war sehr nett, zuverlässig und das Auto komfortabel – ideal für die Fahrt mit Kind. Dank der Übernachtung im Vorfeld starteten wir ausgeschlafen und entspannt in den Tag.
Die gesamte Planung wurde flexibel an unsere Wünsche angepasst – Ablauf, Tempo und Inhalte waren ganz auf uns abgestimmt. Wir fühlten uns bei Lagancy wie VIP-Gäste mit privater, persönlicher Betreuung – definitiv besser aufgehoben als viele andere Touristengruppen, die wir unterwegs gesehen haben.
Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis, das wir wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Experiencia inolvidable
Excelente viaje en globo aerostático sobre Luxor una experiencia inolvidable, nuestro conductor del día fue Boomba que nos atendió bien, incluyendo bebidas y paradas. Nuestro guía el profesor Ahmed era agradable y respondió a todas nuestras preguntas que era muy conocedor del Antiguo Egipto, que era muy impresionante. También se incluyó desayuno y almuerzo en el restaurante de París degustando la cocina local egipcia. Nuestro guía Ahmed también nos llevó en un viaje en barco por el Nilo que no estaba incluido en nuestro tour, así que gracias nos encantó IT. No podía pedir un mejor viaje, así que gracias a nuestro conductor y guía y el personal del restaurante París.

Excellent experience and the "what to expect" was exactly what was detailed!
The tour guide and Egyptologist was very knowledgeable on ancient history and was very helpful and took his time with us to tell his stories!
The hot air balloon flight was absolutely amazing and a memory I will forever cherish!
Food at Paris was very nice and it was good to taste the local cuisine.
Big shout out to Boomba our driver for providing water and looking after us from leaving our hotel in Hurghada to our returns.
Overall I would highly recommend this trip and well done to both guide and driver.
Memories were certainly made!

¡Un viaje verdaderamente inolvidable!
Un viaje verdaderamente inolvidable. Fuimos recogidos de nuestro hotel a las 11 PM por nuestro conductor Mohamed que nos llevó las 4 horas a Luxor. Aquí paramos a desayunar en un restaurante, que aunque fue encantador, tristemente en múltiples ocasiones nos hicieron sentir extremadamente incómodos por dos trabajadores masculinos que nos hicieron desear irnos. Aunque no formamos parte de la empresa creemos que es importante destacar.
Después del desayuno nos recogieron en minibús y nos llevaron a los globos aerostáticos, aquí conocimos a nuestro encantador fotógrafo Islam que tomó algunas fotos increíbles para nosotros que atesoraremos para siempre! El globo aerostático fue una experiencia mágica, ofreciendo vistas excepcionales del amanecer y una visión de la vida para aquellos que viven abajo en Luxor. Todos los involucrados trabajaron duro para mantenernos seguros y cualquier preocupación de estar en lo alto del suelo desapareció rápidamente.
Luego nos encontramos con nuestro guía Ahmed y nos dirigimos al valle de los reyes, donde exploramos las tres tumbas con él a nuestro lado. Ahmed fue un narrador excepcional, mostrando su pasión y conocimiento por todas las cosas de Egipto. . también mostrando sus habilidades de fotografía al tomar muchas fotos para nosotros. Una vez terminado aquí nos dirigimos a un taller de artistas, donde descubrimos cómo los artistas elaboran diferentes esculturas, yendo nosotros mismos e incluso saliendo con las nuestras lo que fue un punto culminante.
Debido a la enfermedad acortamos nuestro viaje, que fue extremadamente decepcionante, pero Ahmed fue excepcionalmente amable y más que comprensivo.
Siendo dos chicas jóvenes temíamos hacer un viaje tan largo solas, pero nuestro piloto Mohamed eliminó rápidamente esos miedos con su encantadora personalidad. Fue más allá para hacernos sentir cómodos, charlando y riendo con nosotros, lo que hizo un largo viaje en coche un poco más llevadero. Así que gracias extra a él!
Este viaje fue realmente inolvidable y no dudaría en reservar con ellos de nuevo si tengo suerte de volver a Egipto. Si usted está pensando en ello - solo reserve .. usted no será decepcionado!

Una maravillosa experiencia de día completo en Luxor
Este tour fue una manera inolvidable y completa de experimentar la belleza de Luxor. Desde el impresionante paseo en globo aerostático por la mañana, que ofrece impresionantes vistas de Luxor desde lo alto, hasta la visita de los antiguos monumentos y templos majestuosos, el día estuvo lleno de historia y asombro, lugares inspiradores.
Tuve la suerte de ser guiado por la increíble Samira, que era increíblemente conocedor, respondió a todas las preguntas, y se aseguró de que me sentía guiado e informado durante todo el recorrido. Sus ideas agregaron mucho valor a la experiencia.
