Si disponemos de tiempo podemos realizar dos visitas características: el Museo del Papiro y la Fábrica de Aceites Esenciales. Estas dos atracciones le presentarán las técnicas del antiguo Egipto para fabricar papiros y esencias. Estas dos interesantes visitas ampliarán tus conocimientos sobre la vida cotidiana en el antiguo Egipto y también serán de ayuda para los agricultores egipcios que trabajan en estos sectores y conservan estas antiquísimas artesanías del antiguo Egipto. (Estas visitas dependen del tiempo restante).

Amazing day trip to Cairo
Amazing day from start to finish Very well organised trip from pick up from hotel to drop off in the evening Tour guide Sam very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything First stop was GEM highly recommend you visit here could do with more time but with so much to cram in in one day it was enough to see what was on our list Lunch was fine and then on to the pyramid area Again very enjoyable tour around the sites with enough time to take photos etc Enjoyed the Nile cruise on the way back to the airport Must say and apologise I can’t remember his name but our driver was excellent and won’t forget the drive through Cairo Have already recommended BTE and will use them again next time we come

Willkommen im historischen Kairo 🧿
Einmaliges Erlebnis:) In erster Linie muss ich sagen es war so top organisiert, damit hätten wir nicht gerechnet, alles lief flüssig ab angefangen bei der Abholung vom Hotel bis zur Landung und dem empfang, zeitlich super abgestimmt, man hatte für jede einzelne Sache genug Zeit. Im großen museum muss man dazu sagen kann man 1 ganzen tag verbringen,weil es so riesig ist, aber unglaubliche Eindrücken die man so kein 2 mal erlebt. Unser trip Führer Adam war extrem kompetent und hatte sehr viel Wissen auf lager, hatte vorher auch geologie studiert und das merkte man ,daß da Leidenschaft hinter steckte, sein Deutsch war super verständlich und war auch ein guter Herzensmensch. Wenn man bei den Pyramiden ist, kann ich jedem nur empfehlen die Kamelfahrt mit zu machen, das ist einzigartig und man braucht keinerlei Angst haben, es sind sehr ruhige sichere Tiere,die werden jeden Freitag im Krankenhaus von Ärzten aus der Schweiz untersucht und gut behandelt, laut unserem Reiseführer. Ein Tipp vor ab: Wenn ihr den trip bucht braucht ihr kein eigenständiges online Check in machen, die PDF die man bekommt reicht vollkommen aus wenn man das später beim Schalter zeigt. Das ist ein Ausflug,den man so nur 1 mal im Leben macht und alles ist schon vorab zusammengestellt. Gerne wieder 🥰

Great to experience!
Had a great time with Fahmi. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and takes great pictures. I would recommend this tour to people looking to do a day trip to Cairo. Be sure to bring some extra money for tips. I’m not sure if the old museum option is available because I was asked to switch to the GEM to and pay the difference to stick with the tour group. I do not regret this choice (the GEM was great) but think it is worth noting.

Great Cairo Day Trip to Giza and the GEM
Everything was well organised, drivers arrived on-time and our guide Fahmy was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptian history. Communication from BTE was through WhatsApp and was great, confirming arrangements the day before. They also checked-in during the day to see if everything was ok, and afterwards for feedback. Flights from Hurghada were through CairoAir, and were adequate and comfortable. Our driver in Cairo made us feel really safe, despite the chaotic traffic. We did the Nile trip and Camel ride at the Pyramids. If considering the latter or the horse ride, please be aware that animal welfare standards will be different to your home country. Hopefully this is something that can be addressed by the Egyptian Authorities and isn't a reflection on BTE. Ths trip we booked gave us 3 hours in Giza and 3 hours at the GEM. Fahmy did his best to give us lots of information at the GEM, before giving us some free time. However, given its size you could easily have spent a day there. So if you want to see all of what the GEM has to offer, I would consider the 2 day trip, which I believe BTE offer. Overall though, we had a great day and it's hard to fault BTE for their services, so I would highly recommend.

Recorrido por la experiencia definitiva en El Cairo
Llegamos a El Cairo muy temprano y, después de un recorrido por la ciudad, pudimos ir temprano a las pirámides. Por la tarde, el evento GEM estuvo en la agenda, seguido de un paseo en barco por el Nilo por la noche. Todo estuvo estupendamente organizado. Nuestro guía Adam nos transmitió una increíble cantidad de conocimientos en un alemán fluido. Quedamos realmente impresionados. El recorrido es muy recomendable.
