A Wonderful Excursion to Luxor
Review of Book Tour Egypt
I joined a trip to Luxor organized by Book Tour Egypt, and overall, it was a very positive experience. Our guide, Laila, was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. I especially appreciated the fact that our group was small, which created a relaxed and personal atmosphere.
The journey from Hurghada to Luxor was quite an experience. The only minor challenge was the bus transfer in Hurghada, where I had to switch to a bus with mostly Polish passengers. Because of this, a lot of the information was given in Polish, which I couldn’t understand. However, this didn’t bother me in the end, as our guide Laila made sure I received all the necessary information later.
One of the highlights of the trip was the short cruise on the Nile, which Laila organized for us for just 10 euros. We crossed from the East Bank to the West Bank, and the views were absolutely stunning. It was a unique and unforgettable experience!
All in all, the trip was well-organized, and everything went smoothly. A big thank you to Book Tour Egypt and our wonderful guide! 😊🙏

Valley of the Kings in Luxor by plane
My son and I were on holiday in Sharm el Sheik and wanted to go to Luxor in one day to see the Valley of the Kings, some tombs and the Karnak Temple. We also wanted to see the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. For this we booked the excursion package from Book Tour Egypt. We flew from Sharm el Sheik to Luxor early in the morning and were met by our tour guide who spoke very good German. Since we were the only German guests, we were alone with the tour guide. In addition to all the information about Egypt's past, we were able to ask lots of questions, all of which were answered very professionally. The whole day was perfectly organised and we saw and learned a lot. We were hardly bothered by all the vendors either, as our group was very small. We can highly recommend this excursion with Book Tour Egypt to everyone.

Gut!
Wir waren zu acht in unserer kleinen Gruppe. Das war angenehm. Die Abholung verlief reibungslos um 4:40 morgens. Die Fahrt war angenehm mit einer Pause, insgesamt ca. 4,5h in eine Richtung. Unser Guide war sehr nett und freundlich und hat kurz etwas zu Tempeln/Begräbnissen erzählt und danach hatten wir Zeit zum Anschauen. Die Tour war interessant. Wünschenswert wäre es aber, beim Anschauen von Sehenswürdigkeiten vom Guide begleitet zu werden und so mehr Informationen über die Geschichte von Ägypten, über die Bedeutung von Schriften in den Begräbnissen zu erhalten. Aber dafür ist die Zeit bei der Fülle an Stationen zu knapp. Im Ganzen kann ich die Tour weiterempfehlen.

Luxor da Hurghada in pullman è piccolo gruppo durante le visite
Partenza da Hurghada in pullman fino a Luxor, con arrivo in tarda mattinata per il traffico dovuto all’alta stagione. A Luxor c’era la guida che ci aspettava e ci ha portato alla Valle dei re, tempio di hatshepsut, Mennone, pranzo e poi i templi di Karnak. Bellissime le tombe e soprattutto il complesso di Karnak. La guida è stata bravissima e ci ha spiegato tutto molto bene. Per il poco tempo abbiamo fatto un po’ di corsa, ma la guida è stata eccellente

Eccellente
Siamo partiti da Marsa Alam. Il viaggio è lungo ma grazie alle attenzioni degli autisti ci siamo trovati molto bene. Sono molto attenti alle esigenze dei clienti, forniscono acqua durante il viaggio e il pranzo è davvero buono! Sono puntuali … e il luoghi che abbiamo visitato cioè Luxor la valle dei re e due importantissimi Templi sono incantevoli ! La guida Mido è stato davvero bravo a spiegarci tutto nel dettaglio, un egittologo davvero preparato! Visita che senza loro non avremmo mai potuto fare ! Li sceglierei ancora e per questo li consiglio!

Luxor from Soma bay Hurghada
Day trip to Luxor was excellent!
From Soma bay Hurghada, BTE organized a taxi pickup and directly took us to Luxor. All journeys were just as we were informed and no time delays.
As we booked this tour one day before, we checked several travel agencies and we confirmed that BTE is best for the price and custom-made services.

Excursión de un día a Luxor
Este viaje fue una experiencia fenomenal en general. El viaje desde Hurghada es de alrededor de 4 horas en coche, sin embargo, los conductores eran increíbles y se detuvieron para ir al baño.
Nuestro guía turístico Layla era increíble y muy conocedor. Ella se comprometió con todas las edades durante todo el recorrido y respondió a todas las preguntas que teníamos.
El almuerzo estaba bien, sin embargo, somos comedores exigentes, pero estaban felices de proporcionar patatas fritas y pasta.
Visitar las tumbas y los templos fueron fantásticos y el viaje por el Nilo fue fabuloso y bien vale la pena los 10 libras adicionales por persona.
La fábrica de alabastro era interesante de ver y encantador para comprar baratijas.
En general un día fantástico y ha hecho que mi viaje a Egipto bien valga la pena.
