Visite un peu au pas de charge d’une partie seulement du plateau de Gizeh avec entrée à l’intérieur de la pyramide de Khéops ; il est préférable de ne pas prendre d’activité combinée, notamment comme celle de Saqqarah le même jour, et ce, afin de pouvoir avoir suffisamment de temps pour profiter de cette visite des pyramides. Température très élevée à l’intérieur et manque d’aération. Le guide reste à l’extérieur. Ses informations et explications sont assez limitées. Pour information, le prix pour la visite complète y compris celle à l’intérieur de la pyramide de Khéops s’élève à 1000 livres égyptiennes soit environ 18 €.

Tour egipcio por la Gran Pirámide - ¡un tour de parada de silbato que vale la pena!
Nos recogieron en nuestro hotel a tiempo, luego nos presentaron a nuestra encantadora guía turística Nancy y nuestro conductor Mr Muhammad. Nancy se detuvo y nos trajo botellas de agua camino a las pirámides. Cuando llegamos al sitio de las pirámides, Nancy vino con nosotros y ordenó nuestra cuota de entrada. Luego nos llevó alrededor del museo para darnos una visión general de las pirámides antes de tomar el autobús al primer sitio.
Nancy era conocedora, divertida y hablaba perfecto inglés. Seguimos el tour de autobús hop on hop off. Ella nos dio tiempo en cada uno de los sitios, por nuestra cuenta para echar un vistazo y tomar fotos.
Nancy se ofreció a ayudarnos a organizar cualquier excursión adicional en cada parada, como paseos en camello. Fuimos de viaje al primer bazar, mi consejo sería conseguir el dinero del que buscas separarte en tu mano y ver cuánto puedes conseguir por él. La variación de los precios de los artículos es fácilmente del 1000 % en las distintas tiendas.
Visitamos el exterior de cada una de las pirámides y fuimos dentro de la gran pirámide (Khufu). Los guías no pueden entrar y continuar el recorrido dentro. La cámara del rey es increíble y definitivamente vale la pena los 10 minutos de agacharse y apretar las escaleras. No recomendaría esto para cualquier persona enferma, escaleras y agacharse caminando en una pendiente pronunciada en 40 grados de calor requerido.
Después de esto nos dirigimos a la Esfinge, que era una vista increíble de la vida real. Nancy nos llevó en el punto de vista que nos da más información al respecto en nuestro camino de entrada. Luego tuvimos tiempo para explorarnos y tomar fotos, antes de que Nancy llamara al Sr. Muhammad para recogernos.
Luego fuimos a visitar una tienda de arte que usaba papiro y obtuvimos una demostración de cómo los antiguos egipcios habrían usado esto, que fue muy genial de ver. Luego tuvimos tiempo de ver el arte para ver si había algo que queríamos comprar - no compramos nada. Luego fuimos a una joyería abajo, de nuevo tuvimos tiempo de mirar a nuestro alrededor pero no compramos nada. Luego nos ofrecieron ir a una tienda de aceites y perfumes y una tienda de alfombras, pero nos negamos ya que estábamos listos para volver al hotel. Nancy estaba bien con esto y Mr Muhammad nos llevó de vuelta a nuestro hotel. Había una opción para ir al Gran Museo también, sin embargo, habíamos estado el día anterior.
Cuando regresamos a nuestro hotel agradecemos a Nancy y Mr Muhammad por una experiencia fantástica y les dimos propina.

A VIP experience of Giza, Saqqara and Abusir
A tour of 3 experienced Egypt travellers wanting to see esoteric sites not normally visited. We required VIP service and assistance gaining permits and permissions. Our guides Aref and Mahmoud were exceptional. Our travel consultant Shahd Ehab was wonderful. A professional who guided and assisted us at all stages of the process.

This was an amazing experience. Lily was extremely helpful in arranging everything for us and would report very quick to any questions we had. Nancy was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience extremely enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and once again thank you for such a great experience

Amazing Experience
So booked the guide + travel + entrance fees. It was worth every penny, made the experience so much better.
Our guide Aref was knowledgeable and entertaining, took some great photos for us.
Having a professional guide really does improve the experience.
The driver always had water when we needed it, we enjoyed the trip so much we ended up paying more to extend the day by going to the new Grand Egyptian Museum which was excellent! Aref recommended a great place for lunch afterwards.

Super experience, but very expensive compared to local price levels.
This was a very well organized, a good VIP view, very informative and a very good way to see all the highlights of the Cheops pyramids and the Sphinx. My only point is the 180 USD pricing, which is way too high compared to the local price levels. I think they still can make a very high profit if they would ask 90USD. I think they are paying Tripadvisor the most to be the first choice, so the profit might even go to tripadvisor itself.

Pyramids - Wow! Must do!
What a wonderful day! Aref did an excellent job - so friendly, helpful & knowledgable. It would have been so much more difficult to navigate where to go and how on your own. The pyramids are totally amazing. Felt very emotional, especially inside The Great Pyramid! Beware tho, a bit of a hot, steep, narrow climb which we weren’t aware of - but well worth it!!
Thank you also to Lily who did an amazing job organising our trip (and more!). It has all made our Cairo trip just wonderful - great memories!

VIP TOUR OF SPHINX AND PYRAMIDS
What can I say? I honestly cannot praise this company enough! Shahd was my organiser and was with me from the very start of the booking—she is an absolute gem. She catered to every single need of mine and my family’s, and no request was ever too big. This company isn’t like others—it truly offers an all-inclusive experience. They have incredible contacts and can arrange things that are usually unheard of.
In our case, we were given a VIP tour to visit the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid after hours. This is no small feat—especially the Sphinx pass. Normally, you can only get about 50 metres away, but Shahd arranged for us to get right up close and even touch it. This is extremely rare and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You know it’s special when you’re accompanied by your own bodyguard, a representative from the tour company, your tour guide, and an Egyptologist from the Ministry of Antiquities. It was by far the most amazing experience of my life. And wait until you see the Sphinx—you will be completely blown away.
At first, we weren’t sure if we wanted to use a tour company, but I’m so, so glad we did. Do not go to Egypt without a guide! Firstly, unless you’re an Egyptologist, you won’t know what you’re looking at most of the time. But more importantly, for safety reasons, Egypt isn’t like the West. Outside the historical sites, it can feel a little dodgy. With this tour company, everything is arranged from A to Z. You’ll be picked up from your hotel, driven to all the sites, your tour guide will keep scammers away, and you’ll have a private car all day. There’s no need to worry about transportation, timing, or what to see. Everything flows naturally, and if any issues arise (which there weren’t), Shahd was just a message away.
Trust me, this company is the real deal. If you’re lucky enough to have Shahd look after you, your trip to Egypt will be perfectly organised. If I could give a million stars, I would.
Our tour guide, Nasser, is incredible. This guy can read hieroglyphics! He’s been guiding for over 30 years, is a professional photographer (he knows all the best spots), and has a cheeky, charming personality. I can’t recommend him enough. Our tour agent, Esmail, was fantastic too—a young guy who constantly rearranged things for us when we had last-minute changes. He was friendly, easy-going, and made everything seamless.
I love Egypt. I love Shahd. I love this company. Book with them—you won’t regret it!
