Very interesting and informative!
Ola was our guide, and was very informative! It was amazing to learn about this historical part of Egypt. She was very thorough and patient with our questions. Lunch was very good. We’d highly recommend this tour if you’re interested in learning more about Egypt’s Islamic and Christian history.

An Amazing Tour of both Islamic and Coptic History
Mohammed Salah was my Tour Guide. This tour is amazing as it captures both the history of the Muslim world as well as the Coptic/Christen world. If your looking for a tour that shows you Mosques and Churches then this tour is one for you. Mohammed Salah was an amazing tour guide, he knows his history very well, he made sure I was comfortable at every stage. An amazing, likable person. Great tour great tour guide. Highly recommend

Great day seeing the different worlds in Cairo
My girlfriend and I had an exciting day visiting the Islamic and Christian parts of Cairo organized by EmoTours. The tour started at 09:00 and we were back at 18:30 (longer than expected). We were picked up by our driver Mostasfa with his nice car directly at our hotel and spent the day at the sites with our guide Mamdouh going through the monumental mosques, the astounding citadel, and hidden churches Cairo has to offer. The discussions regarding the influences of religion on the architecture of the area and on the general way of life of the people in Egypt were eye-opening.
Later, we visited the market Chan el-chalili where Mamdouh gave us excellent tricks for haggling for various goods. Besides just visiting the standard vendors we went to the more Egyptian part of the market and saw many fascinating things beyond the standard tourist goods.
In the end, we were invited to some food and drinks to close the day.
Recommendations:
1. Students, take your student ID cards! You pay half price for the entry tickets!
2. We booked without lunch. Around the bazar there are many restaurants if you want to stay longer and continue on your own.

Great tour with Ahmed Nour Eldien
We had an awesome tour with Ahmed Nour Eldien visiting Islamic and Coptic Cairo. You can tell he is passionate and knows all about it. If you want to see more of something, he will make sure you see it. The Greek church was not part of the tour, but we said we wanted to see it so he took us. For lunch he found us a good place to get Turkish coffee, shawarma, and falafel. He helped keep pesky sellers away from us and at one point someone tricked us into paying too much money and he looked out for us and made them give it back. He also gave advice on how to barter with shops and recommended reputable shops. I highly recommend Emo Tours, this specific tour, and especially Ahmed Nour Eldien

Great trip in Egypt with Mamdouh kamal!!
Third tour with a guide from Emo Tour in Cairo. We booked the same guide each time, the best one in Egypt: Mamdouh Kamal! He is so passionate about history, we could listen to him all day long… it was such a beautiful experience!

Great Look at Cairo
This tour delivers exactly what is described in the itinerary. My tour guide Noha Nabil was fantastic. We started the day in Coptic Cairo and saw all of the sights there (the hanging church was outstanding), then moved to the Citadel area and saw Islamic Cairo and finished up at the Khan-el-Khalili. It was all fantastic and informative. Thanks Noha!

Coptic and Islamic daytrip
This is my second trip with Ahmed Elsayed and Youssef as a driver (you will feel safe on the road with him!). I have spent a wonderful day between coptic and islamic Cairo. We ended walking in Khan El-Khalili and having a nice coffee while talking like if we were long time friends. With Ahmed you do a lot in a short time so after we could chill a little, that’s perfect for me.
Hope to see them again and I warmly recommend them for the second time! You won’t lose your time ;)

Good day in the citadel
Moussalem, the guide, was very professional and amiable. Thank you. The tour was very good. It proposed 8 to 10 hours, but we finished at 17:00, so this should be corrected in the “ what to expect “ section. We did not go to Khan al Khalili, either, as indicated. The other parts ( citadel and nearby mosques, and Coptic Cairo) we’re impeccable. We liked it very much. Lunch was fine and adequate.
