We booked the Alexandria day trip from Cairo and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our time in Egypt. We left our hotel early in the morning and made the roughly 3-hour drive comfortably, with everything well organized from start to finish. Once in Alexandria, our guide Mohammed truly made the experience exceptional. He struck the perfect balance between sharing rich historical context and giving us plenty of time to explore and take photos. We visited all the key spots—the Alexandria Library and planetarium, the scenic corniche and harbor, the site of the ancient lighthouse, the Citadel of Qaitbay, Montazah Palace Gardens, Stanley Bridge, and the beautiful Mosque of Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi. Each stop felt thoughtfully paced, never rushed. And Mohammed took care of all ticket and admission fees, making getting through each site a breeze. What really stood out was Mohammed himself—kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. His depth of understanding of Egyptian history was impressive, and he even read and explained hieroglyphics in a way that was easy to follow and genuinely fascinating. As Muslims, we especially appreciated that he made sure we reached the mosque in time for prayer, which added a meaningful personal touch to the day. Transportation was smooth both ways, and the driver arranged by Mohammed was professional and reliable. Everything ran seamlessly. Overall, this was a well-structured, enriching, and enjoyable tour. We’d absolutely recommend Mohammed to anyone planning a trip to Alexandria and would happily book again ourselves. 5/5 stars.

The tour was structured very efficiently. We were able to get the most out of our time in Alexandria. Karim gave us a lot of information about the city and its history. We had an excellent lunch overlooking the dock they were able to get great pictures all day. Our driver was also excellent, he drove at least 10 hours straight. It was very professional the whole time.
