An Interesting and Insightful Day

As we were staying in Alexandria we took the opportunity to spend a morning at El-Alamein. First we visited the museum which is modern and well laid out. We also visited the nearby Commenwealth Cemetery which was very moving. Then the drive back to Alexandria, for a lovely fish lunch in a local restaurant. Our guide Karim and driver took great care of us throughout and we appreciated all aspects of the day.

Day trip to Alexandria worth the long journey!

I got picked up from the 4 season hotel early, as Alexandria is about 3 hours from Cairo. The tour guide spoke very good english and was very knowledgable. The bus was very clean and the journey was comfortable. I am a solo traveller from the UK and was very well looked after. We saw the Catacombs, The library, Pompeys pillar, the roman amphitheatre and lastly the fortress where the lighthouse of Alexandria was. We then went for lunch where we had delicious fresh seafood in front of the ocean. The trip was very worth the travel and I would recommend it for anyone interested in egyptian and greek/Roman history.

Great experience, amazing guide.

Great experience! Our guide, Waleed, was truly amazing: knowledgeable, friendly and funny. The tour covers a lot of different sights and places, but for the most important ones we didn't feel like we were rushing through them. Absolutely worthwhile if you only have one day in Alexandria and want to cover as much as possible!

Fun Guide and Amazing visit

We did Alexandria as part of a larger tour with Ramasside. Kerim met us in Alexandria and showed us all the main sites (Library of Alexandria, Fortress, gardens). Kerim was a blast. He was not only knowledgeable he made the trip fun. Drivers were on-time and safe. We did the 2 day option. If you do the main sites, its about 5 hours. So totatlly doable in the one day trip. Staying overnight was nice because our hotel was right on the ocean so after 9 days of 100+ weather it was a nice change.

Day Tour of Alexandria, Egypt.

Booking a tour with Headout to see the sights of Alexandria, Egypt for 7 hours. The cost of the tour included all the entrance fees. Mahmoud was our guide and he is very knowledgeable. His explanation of the history at each site was so informative. Mahmoud is an archaeologist and his Egyptian history is fantastic. This tour is a must do and hopefully you get to meet Mahmoud to enjoy Alexandria.

Excellent Organization and Great Service by Exodus Travel

The days we spent in Egypt were full of visits and activities, yet everything was very well organized. Mohamed Basuni was the group supervisor, and he followed our movements and schedule closely and helped resolve any issues that came up during the trip. We also really appreciated that Exodus Travel provided us with free internet throughout the tours, as well as water and snacks. This was very useful, especially while traveling between different places. Thank you to the entire Exodus Travel team for this wonderful experience.
