Magy was a fabulous host for our food tour. The tour was well organized and we got to try many new and different dishes we wouldn’t have known about otherwise. We really valued the evening we spent out in Cairo with Magy and would 10/10 recommend her to anyone visiting the area.

When I went on Mila's food tour around more authentic areas of Cairo, it was truly, truly amazing! She helped me learn, and prepare me so well for the rest of my trip around Egypt, all while delving into delicious and unique food at the same time. She made me feel comfortable about trying new foods, which is sometimes difficult for me, and I don't regret it at all! She picked such great places to eat, and you could tell she had great rapport with employees at every restaurant. I always felt safe with her as my guide, as we maneuvered our way through bustling streets. I would no doubt go on her tour again, if I ever return to Cairo!

Such a wonderful experience! Magy took us on a journey of what a person might eat during a day in Egypt, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, desert, fresh fruits, snacks and drinks. We loved trying so many different new foods and even getting to help make some! I am vegetarian and my boyfriend eats everything, we both finished the tour very happy and very full. Magy is such a kind person and we really enjoyed getting to know her. She gave us great tips about visiting Egypt, including where to go, how to avoid getting scammed and what prices you might expect to pay for things. I would really recommend doing this tour early on in your trip to Egypt. I would also recommend you don’t eat for a week beforehand because you will be so full!!

A fascinating trip through the local neighbourhoods of Cairo to sample a range of delicious food in their natural surroundings. Mila was a font of knowledge and enthusiasm and we couldn’t have asked for a more rewarding and enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend this great experience !

I booked magys tour on my first day in Egypt which also happenes to be my birthday! I had a SPECTACULAR time on this tour!!! Magy is very knowledgable about Egypt and its foods and did a great time explaining the origin of foods here. I left on a very full stomach. My recommendation is to eat a little bit of everything and takeaway what you love, however, you will love all the food magy provides. Exceptional experience to my very first day (and birthday) in the U.S!!!

The food tour with Fatma was like having a good friend show you her home city. She is so knowledgeable about the history and food culture of Cairo! We were taken to a bustling local low-middle class neighborhood that we would never have been able to find without her. We met some local people and tasted delicious food from street vendors and small restaurants. The falafel was so fresh, crunchy and the best of my life by far, there was so much food we had to skip a couple stops because we were so full! I not only learned about the local food and culture but also the history of the place. It was a truly unforgettable experience, and I don’t say that lightly

Thank you so much for this amazing experience allowing us to explore Cairo. We loved tasting so many traditional Egyptian dishes around the back streets of Cairo. The walking tour allowed us to feel a full sense of authenticity as Mila explained the Egyptian history in a huge amount of detail. We would definitely recommend this food tour to anyone who loves food and wishes to learn and explore Cario just like an Eqyptian.

Mila's food tour was personalised for our group of 4 and we had a fantastic time sapling local food. We had fresh falafel for breakfast, street food and an Bedouin & Egyption feast to end the trip. We saw places well off the tourist trail and experienced great food. Thank you Mila

Kelly May 2024 This tour was amazing! Magy took us to a local neighborhood and not only had us try dishes but also understand the culture and background of each meal and the foods we ate. She also made a few stops along the way to explain different snacks or street food. Magy was also extremely thoughtful in conversation, promoted questions, and created a really fun experience for the group. Definitely arrive hungry!! I can eat a lot - and struggled to finish everything that was provided! Great experience overall - highly recommend if you're looking for an authentic taste of Cairo!
