This is a fantastic, well-organised tour from start to finish. The visit to the Pyramids was unforgettable, and our guide Mohab Ahmed shared just the right amount of history and humour. Lunch was excellent with a great view of the Pyramids. The brand new Grand Egyptian Museum was the perfect finale, beautifully curated and full of remarkable exhibits. A smooth, enjoyable day that’s well worth it. Also a big thank you to our driver Wessam, we never waited anywhere and he got us back to the airport in plenty of time before our flight, despite the very heavy traffic. I really recommend this tour and we are both very grateful to Mohab Ahmed and Wessam for an amazing day.

I am so happy I did this! It was my friend and I and let me tell you, Kyrllos Eskander was the best tour guide I’ve ever had. Him and the driver were so nice, they even allowed us a stop at the cafe before we started our journey to the pyramids! Once we got there, Kyrllos knew just exactly what to do to get us into it smoothly with no issues. At the pyramids, he gave such clear explanations behind the beliefs that were had at the time, theories on how the pyramids were build, who did them, and what the materials were made of. I knew only a little bit about Egyptian mythology prior to this and Kyrllos explained so well. Now, I know that their beliefs really played a roll on how the pyramids came to be. If he ever did class, I’d love to join! The camel ride was fun, too! After the pyramids, we went to get food, and it was good! It was buffet style but just for your information, drinks are not included in this package. We then checked out a bazaar shop where we learned about how paper was made in ancient Egypt. I also grabbed some oil perfume here and it smells wonderful. The last stop was the Grand Egyptian Museum, and this was just absolutely wonderful. I am so glad I got to see it, since it recently opened up. Kyrllos was really organized on how he took us through this museum. I learned so much from him — he answered all my questions, gave detailed explanations on the artifacts we stopped at, and helped us get some nice pictures! If I didn’t have plans after this tour, I would have stayed in the museum longer to truly dig into the artifacts. It’s still a bit hard to digest the fact that these artifacts are over 3,000 years old with some as old as 5,000 years old! And King Tut’s exhibition is just simply unbelievable — all those artifacts that are so well persevered, it’s hard to believe it’s so old. Overall, this was a wonderful experience that took about 8 hours. I highly recommend Kyrllos as a tour guide and I know for sure, when I come back to Egypt, I’ll ask for him for any future tours.

I had an amazing adventure with Hanu Mubarak seeing the pyramids, Sphinx, and new Grand Egyptian Museum. Even though the museum had just opened a day before, Hany knew all of the highlights and what I should know at each stop. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience - if you’re looking to do all things Pyramids in one day from Cairo, this is it!
