Outstanding Private Guide – Kyrillos Eskander made our Cairo day unforgettable!

We spent a week in Cairo with our 7-year-old son and booked several different guides. For our GEM + Giza Pyramids day we chose Kyrillos Eskander, and we were very specific about what we wanted: no wasted time, maximum highlights, and the chance to actually enter the Great Pyramid. From the very first moment, Kyrillos exceeded every expectation. He was waiting for us in the hotel lobby right on time, and we had an excellent driver who expertly navigated Cairo’s chaotic streets. After several “hit-and-miss” experiences with other guides earlier in the trip, Kyrillos was instantly a clear “hit.” Here’s why he stood out: We told him we were strict on timing and really wanted to go inside the Great Pyramid. By the time we arrived at the Giza Plateau parking area, Kyrillos had already bought the interior tickets on his phone. We simply paid him back and walked straight past the long ticket lines. At the entrance to the Great Pyramid there was literally no queue — we skipped everything and felt like we had a private entry. It was magical. Inside and around the pyramids, his explanations were outstanding. He covered the construction techniques and 4th Dynasty history in a way that was fascinating for us and surprisingly engaging for our 7-year-old. Kyrillos answered every question with real knowledge and facts (no guessing!), and even turned it into a fun quiz for our son, who absolutely loved it. After the pyramids we headed to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). Again, Kyrillos had pre-purchased tickets so we completely skipped the huge crowds. Inside, he kept our little one fully entertained the entire time — asking him questions, explaining things in simple, kid-friendly ways, and making the experience interactive. It was the first time on the whole trip our son stayed genuinely engaged for hours. We were beyond impressed. Kyrillos is passionate, energetic, extremely knowledgeable, patient with kids, and speaks excellent English. He managed the entire day perfectly so we never felt rushed yet saw and learned so much. Kyrillos, thank you personally for one of the best tour experiences we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a guide in Cairo who won’t disappoint — someone who is professional, patient, keeps everyone (especially children) engaged, and truly cares about delivering an unforgettable day — look no further than Kyrillos Eskander. We would book him again in a heartbeat!

Pyramids tour with Moses

The tour with Moses was great. He was very knowledgeable and very fun to be with. He went out of his way to ensure we had a pleasant time. We saw the pyramids, the GEM, and rode ATVs around the pyramids. It was my birthday, and he arranged a cake with my name on it during our lunch stop. Great day!

Amazing private tour with an Egyptologist

This trip is everything!!! 🤩 We did the all-inclusive trip, which covered all our entrance fees, a camel ride, our personalized tour guide who is an Egyptologist, and a private driver. We paid for tips and drinks at lunch. Our guide, Amr Moses, is excellent! He educated us about so many details at the sites we visited: the pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Great Egyptian Museum. He is a treasure of knowledge. He also takes the best pictures! 10/10! Do this tour!

Great choice

Amazing experience for our family visiting the pyramids, one of the oldest monuments, steeped in history, still in all its splendor, and all the wealth that still remains hidden. Ancient history recounted by our guide Kyrllos Eskqndar who is passionate about his work and very polite. He knew how to accompany us throughout our visit and make us feel comfortable. We really recommend him and this experience.

The Grand Egyptian Museum: An exhibition beyond words!!

My experience at the Grand Egyptian Museum cannot be fully captured fully in words. There is so much to see! Be prepared to be overwhelmed and amazed at the extensive display of ancient artifacts! The highlights for me personally were the King Tut exhibit and the solar boat. What made my visit to the museum feel so meaningful can only be contributed to the skill and knowledge of my tour guide, Ayoub. Ayoub is passionate about sharing his extensive knowledge of Egyptian history and culture. Beyond Ayoub’s seasoned experience as a tour guide, is his kind, caring and thoughtful concern for my wellbeing. I highly recommend this particular tour. You will not be disappointed.
