Perfect Luxor day trip from Cairo

This tour covers all of the famous historical attractions of Luxor and, as this is a private tour, you can proceed at your own pace and customize the contents to a certain degree. My guide (Rimon) provided highly informative commentary throughout the whole tour and in the end this tour provided everything that a one-day tour to such a historically rich city possibly can. It's a long day for sure and you're probably better off buying the flights on your own (way cheaper that way than having them included in the tour price), but it's a memorable day for sure and definitely one of the best day tours you can do from Cairo.

Efficient day tour of Luxor

Luxor is amazing and this tour crams in the valley of the Kings along with 3 temples ang excellent Khoshery lunch into a single day. Prompt pick up and drop off from our hotel in Cairo and Luxor airport. They arranged for a later drop off to Luxor airport to allow us to have a late afternoon meal at a hotel while we waited for a late night flight back to Cairo.

Luxor day trip

Dina Danial was our guide and she was such a pleasure and wealth of knowledge about the county, region of Luxor and its people. She provided many very important and useful tips how to navigate Egypt from pay toilets to bartering in the bazaars! She showed us the beauty of the area. We saw the Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple as well as made a relaxing boat taxi ride down the Nile to have a special lunch on Banana Island. Dina was so informative, she knew so many different facts about the history and was able to point out things in the temples and tombs that I never would have noticed. I would highly encourage people to book this trip and request Dina as your guide. You will not be disappointed.

Magical day with the perfect guide!

We booked this trip at the last minute and from the time we booked it was magic. They got us on a later flight cause we were exhuasted and we were met at the airport by the lovely Dina. She rearranged the day so we could still get everything done we wanted. We started off on the West Bank took a boat saw the valley of the kings and moved to the temple of Hatshepsut and went to a stone makers home. We went to banana island for lunch and laughed the whole time and shared stories. We went to a few more temples and went to the spice market. She was incredible and super sweet and helped us at every turn. We absolutely loved her and wanted to spend more time with her and if you can please request her!!!! We cannot begin to show enough gratitude for this wonderful adventure!!!!

VIP experience

This tour experience was greater than expected. The guides make you feel true VIP. I highly recommend this but take your time at each event. Our flight was delayed to Cairo and I didn’t expect the driver to be at arrival 1 hour later and he was .

Tour was great, flight times were not

I’m giving 5 stars because Ramon was great. He was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. My only complaint would be the flight times. When I booked I asked for a late morning time slot. Tour guide manager Hesham asked if we can do a 4am pick up with a 6am flight. I agreed to this. We asked to add a friend a few days before the booking and he said he had to put him on a waitlist because the plane was full. The day before he messaged us the good news that he got our friend on the flight. Well when we got on the plane we couldn’t help but notice the plane was only about 30% full… We got through everything on the itinerary plus a few extras that our tour guide recommended and were done and at the airport by 3pm. Our flight was scheduled for 9pm! Airport security wouldn’t let us in the airport because we were so early. To make a long story short, after some hassle of were able to just buy tickets for an earlier flight. There are flights to and from Cairo all day long. None seem to be full although when I told Heshsm what happened he said the 9pm flight was all that was available. Let me also add that our tour guide Ramon offered to extend our tour so we didn’t have to wait around too long at the airport. He gets 5 stars. I’m sharing our issue so that anyone reading this can demand better flight times. You do not need 14 hours in Luxor. Especially if you are tired from lack of sleep after getting up at 3am.

Valley of the Kings >>>

The morning started very early which was hard after several days of tours around Egypt but our guide, Remon was great. He was very knowledgeable of the many places we visited. He was also very patient with us as we toured and even recommended places to grab food. Seeing the Valley of the Kings was a highlight for us.

Best Luxor tour!

We are a family of 6 and booked our tour to see Luxor. Dina was our guide and she was amazing! She was pleasant, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the place. She greeted us at the airport, bought us snacks, and explained to us the history of Luxor. We visited the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s Temple, and Karnak and Luxor Temples. We also took a boat cruise to the Banana Islands for a wonderful lunch, as per her recommendation. We also visited local art and craft, fabric, and antique stores where we purchased local goods. Throughout the entire day, Dina was very professional, friendly, and we never had a dull moment with her. She was also extremely receptive to answering questions. We highly recommend that anyone visiting Luxor books this tour for a great experience!
