Amazing visit to GEM and Pyramids
We had Mohamed Money as our guide and boy he was excellent. He is very knowledgeable and a good storey teller. Very good personality and took care of us going through the museum, camel ride and Pyramids. Would recommend Mohamed very highly.

Amazing day out!
Pickup was very punctual, right from our Airbnb's door, 5 minutes early.
Sameh was a great guide, friendly and knowledgeable. To see everything (Giza entrance, King's Chamber, Grand Egyptian Museum) you'll need about 3000 EGP, which was well worth it,and GEM is only booked online. We took great pictures, the weather was great, learned a lot, the atmosphere was very friendly, and overall had a great time! It's impossible to look at the pyramids and not be moved - you feel the sheer weight of history.
Sameh, he's style was very conversational - it was a pleasure to hear everything. More like a friendly discussion with an expert than a lecture. We were a small group (only 2) so we were able to quickly move past bigger, slow groups, and it felt very friendly.
We decided to cut the day a bit short as we were hungry, so theres some flexibility with, which is a great plus.
One thing to note is that the great pyramid of Giza's interior stairs are very crowded, very warm and humid, and quite abrupt - children are not allowed and I'd advise elderly, claustrophobic or unfit people be careful about attempting them.

Wonderful Giza and GEM Day Tour
We are very happy with our experience with Misk Tours. Alaa was our guide and Ahmed our driver. We were picked up from the airport at 7am and off we went to the Giza plateau. Early morning is the best time to visit, it gets very crowded soon after.
We then stopped at a couple of shops and had a nice shawarma lunch at a local restaurant before proceeding to the Grand Egyptian Museum. After the guided tour with Alaa, Ahmed dropped us back at the airport on time.
During the day, Alaa always looked after us, responded to all our questions and demonstrated great knowledge of the sites we visited and the artefacts we enjoyed seeing. Ahmed navigated the Cairo traffic with ease and gave us a ton of valuable local insights. He also stopped briefly by the Nile on the way back to the airport, so we could take some wonderful pictures.
It was a very friendly experience, and we would not hesitate to book with them again. We highly recommend Alaa and Ahmed to anyone who values a seamless and safe travel experience.

GEM and Pyramids
If you are short on time this tour is a great way to see both the GEM and the pyramids in one day. My guide was Mohamed Mohey, he was very knowledgeable and very adaptable to what I wanted or what I didn’t want to do. He also paced things in a way where we could avoid crowds. Highly recommend!

Great way to explore the highlights
This was a great opportunity to get a personal tour of the highlights while skipping the crowds and hustlers. Our guide Asmaa was fantastic and able to discuss the Egyptian history in detail.
The Egyptian Grand Museum is incredible. The amount of artifacts can be overwhelming. This tour gives you a taste of the most interesting parts of the museum pieces. Don’t expect to see it all as that would be too much to fit into this tour. Plan to return and explore on your own pace of seeing the entirety of the museum is your goal.
Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience
I’m so glad I booked this tour! Mariam was an amazing guide, she felt like a friend by the end of the day and she was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the sights and exhibits. And our driver Farhag was friendly and even surprised me with little snacks! Lunch was delicious as well. Thank you so much Mariam and Farhag!

Brilliant tour and guide
I booked Mohamed Mohey through Viator for a trip to the Grand Egyptian Museum and to see the Pyramids. The communication was brilliant and both Mohamed and his driver were punctual and lovely throughout the day. Mohamed is a wealth of knowledge about all things ancient Egypt and the information he provided throughout the tour was incredible.
Having seen some of the larger tours at both the museum and the pyramids, I can say that to book a small group tour with Mohamed is far more interesting and flexible and it will make your bucket list trip all the more worthwhile.
For any solo female travellers, booking in Egypt comes with risks. Both Mohamed and his driver were brilliant and you will be safe and comfortable on your tour. This alone is worth the money.
I highly recommend this tour and Mohamed for any tours around Cairo, especially this one.

Great guide
Michael was an amazing guide, and smartly timed the pyramids for us for the afternoon so we were able to miss all the haze. He had a great knowledge of Egyptian history and hieroglyphics and I really liked the way he explained things. He’s very passionate about his work.
