Fabulous food tour
If you want to get into the belly of Cairo and gain some understanding of its history and rich culture and enjoy some amazing local food then look no further Ahmed will be sure to look after you with his warm and friendly company. He is an encyclopaedia of knowledge and made us feel at home . He took us to some amazing local restaurants that have served delicious Egyptian food for generations . One of the best food tours my wife and I have done . Thanks you once again Ahmed.

Amazing food and even better conversation
The tour felt more like friends catching up over good local food instead of the generic food tour business. All the spots we went to were local places with no English menus. Getting to know the people that owned the shops. Ahmed is an amazing guide and you will definitely enjoy this tour

Fun and Interesting Evening with Amazing Hosts
Ahmed and Sharouk are both wonderful hosts.
We had taken a walk around Old Cairo before meeting the tour group and were running about 10 minutes late. Ahmed was very understanding and reassured us not to rush. We arrived and were greeted warmly.
The tour starts at a local Juice Bar where we sampled local sugar cane juice and fresh hibiscus juice.
They take you on a walk through the Cairo streets stopping at lots of local family run restaurants and food stands. You will get to sample several of Egypt's staple dishes with the couple providing a wealth of information not only about the food but also about Egyptian culture. The dishes were chosen to represent what is eaten locally for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Dessert.
Ahmed is multilingual and was providing translations if some members of our small group were struggling with English.
I highly recommend this fun evening in the lively if chaotic streets of Cairo.

A truly local experience!
Ahmed and his wife are very welcoming and they really inform you about Egypt and its culture. It’s a long (but well worth it) experience and you get your moneys worth with the amount of food tastings and places visited. It’s a must do for anyone in Cairo!

Such a memorable experience
We had such an incredible time with Ahmed and his family. We as 4 girls in our 20s and learned so much about local Egyptian culture and food. We spent time with their two daughters Maria and Karma. Such a beautiful and welcoming family. This was our favorite part of our trip to Egypt.

MUST DO EXPERIENCE !!!!!
Great communication prior to meeting; Ahmed met us on time at the pre-arranged point and the variety of dishes was fantastic! Friendly and engaging conversation all night. He explained all about history and ingredients of the dishes too! Ahmed also ensured we caught our correct Uber at the end of the night. Definitely a must do experience when in Cairo. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

¡Un tiempo maravilloso!
Mucha comida por el dinero. Estaba extra lleno al final. Lugares de comida maravillosos. Los guías son muy apasionados por Egipto y tienen muchos conocimientos. La comida está deliciosa. Realmente sientes que estás probando lugares locales y no turísticos, pero aun así disfrutas de una gran experiencia general. Tampoco es demasiado agotador en cuanto a caminar, pero aun así te haces una buena idea de la zona. ¡Es una experiencia verdaderamente agradable que recomiendo mucho probar!

¡Ahmed fue un guía turístico increíble! Fue amable, experto e hizo que toda la experiencia fuera divertida y educativa a la vez. Mi marido y yo lo pasamos muy bien, y de hecho reservé este tour como parte de la celebración del cumpleaños de mi marido. Como él prácticamente se había convertido en un lugareño, no estábamos seguros de cuánto nuevo aprenderíamos, pero Ahmed hizo que la experiencia fuera atractiva y compartió historia y datos interesantes que ambos disfrutamos. Muy recomendable para TODO EL MUNDO
¡Absolutamente recomendable para cualquiera que visite El Cairo!! Shorouk fue una guía increíble y además siento que me fui con una nueva amiga 💕 Hicimos el tour con mi marido y mis 3 hijos (de 5 a 14 años), además de mi madre y mi padrastro, y fue perfecto para todas las edades. Aprendimos muchísimo sobre la comida egipcia (¡incluso pudimos ver cómo preparaban gran parte desde cero!), pero también aprendimos aún más sobre la cultura y el estilo de vida egipcios. ¡La comida estaba deliciosa! Mi madre estaba preocupada por si no le gustaba nada y al final le gustó TODO. No puedo recomendar lo suficiente este tour y a esta maravillosa familia ♥️
