Unforgettable Night!!
I would recommend this to anyone coming to Egypt! We had the best time and most delicious food! I was so wonderful to hear stories about the neighborhood and history of Egypt. Having part in making the food was such an honor and it was so delicious to eat. Ahmed and Shorouk are very passionate about what they do and helped us feel so safe and welcome on our first night in Cairo! I would plan a return trip to Egypt just to visit our new Egyptian family🫶🏼🇪🇬

One of a Kind!!
One of a kind!! A very special and authentic experience. A real taste of the Egyptian cuisine made at home were you get to participate in cooking. Shorooq and Ahmed are among the most genuine people I’ve ever met. They actually like people and enjoy what they’re doing. They were so welcoming I really felt like I was setting with my own family. This experience was the highlight of my trip. I truly recommend it to anyone who’s interested to have a real local experience. This is the way to see Egypt and to get to know the people and culture from inside.*

I felt like a part of the family!
When they say "Egpytian family", they mean it. Ahmed and Shorouk were so warm and welcoming, it felt like visiting old friends. They were also incredibly helpful with advice about the area, recipes, and life stories. With so much international travel to Egypt, some places are over-crowded and too tourist-y. But this was truly an intimate, unique experience, learning about the neighborhood on-the-ground and being welcomed into a local's home. It's important to see this side of Egypt, so if you have a free night in Cairo, please do this.

authentic experience with locals
Spent a nice evening with an egyptian family and learned to prepare local food. ahmed and shourouk made me feel welcome. i came as a guest and i left as a friend.

¡Algo diferente!
Esto es definitivamente algo que la gente que visita El Cairo debería experimentar. Son una familia tan hermosa, hacen un buen trabajo haciéndote sentir como parte de su familia. Son muy conocedores como muchas otras personas aquí, pero traen algo extra especial. Pasar tiempo con ellos te hace olvidar que estás a kilómetros de casa y te hace sentir como si fueran amigos que conoces desde hace mucho tiempo. Whattt a day !!
Ahmed y Shorouk son gente increíble. Nos sentimos como en casa con ellos y mi esposa hizo mejores amigos con su hija. De principio a fin, solo te dan la sensación de que realmente estás conociendo a un pariente después de mucho tiempo. La comida era buena, especialmente el pollo asado con salsa de cebolla. A la pareja le apasiona conocer gente nueva y compartir la cultura del otro y se puede ver en ellos cuando hablan. Sin duda voy a visitarlos de nuevo la próxima vez que esté en Egipto.

*Don’t miss this opportunity! We had a wonderful time with Ahmed and Shorouk! They were so welcoming and it was a perfect introduction to our Egyptian tour. We were able to help cook and the family was very accommodating to our vegan diet. The food was outstanding! The company was incredible. We learned about the beautiful Egyptian culture with a lovely family. Without a doubt, it was the most authentic and inclusive experience we have had.
