A Trip to Remember
I enjoyed visiting all of these historic sites with the benefit of a highly knowledgeable guide and authority on the history and culture of Ancient Egypt. The trips to Karnak and Abu Simbel were phenomenal. The company made the entire adventure manageable and stress-free.

A wonderfully magical tour
We had a wonderful guide, John who was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about everything we visited. We loved that he only took us to vendors that were ethical and unique. We couldn’t recommend our experience more. It was so smooth and easy every step of the way! Thank you!

Go to Egypt and don't skip Abu Simbel
First and foremost our guide George was a rockstar, seriously he knew so much and if he didn't know he found out for us. George made our trip go from excellent to spectacular. Abu Simbel was the highlight but we also did an add on tour to Kalabasha Temple when we had a free morning and it is a must see if you have the time.

Only way to Travel in Egypt!!!
Great sights in a surreal atmosphere. Best way to see this part of Egypt. The ship was great. The ride was really smooth and the staff onboard was top notch. The best part of the experience was the very insightful and informative guide John. Transportation and communication was the best. All site visits flowed perfectly and his knowledge of every place we visited was amazing.

Nike Cruise
Journey to Egypt was excellent. We were able to relax and fully enjoy our trip since we had a tour guide to organize all the tours, tickets, drivers, etc. Not having to worry about logistics was excellent and we were so excited to have someone explain the history of the sites as well as answer our questions. 10/10!

A most ethical company in a very competitive environment
This company had the highest ethical standards. Due to some payment confusion at the start we overpaid for the trip to Abu Simbal. They refunded the entire amount after confirming the arrangement - all rather quickly. We decided to pay a bit extra ($80) to go with a better newer boat which was probably worth it. We had Ayman as our guide. He was very considerate and an encyclopedia of which god did what to whom during what dynasty. His English is good. We enjoyed his company. He is not particularly strong on general history - other guides we listened to did a better job explaining some of the technical or archeological history and aspects of what we were looking at - but he was always an absolute gentleman and we really enjoyed our time with him. Like many Egyptians he was always happy to take a smoke break - they really do smoke a lot here. However - never in the vehicle which is important. This is not a national geographic tour - but they really take care of your comfort and preferences. They kept all their commitments and didn’t try and angle additional costs. I would happily use this company again.

Best Nile Tour in Egypt!
Amazing experience with Journey to Egypt. Our English guide Tamer was very patience, knowledgeable, honest and reliable. Great explanation for all the history, architecture, and behind the scenes story. Nice small group, easy to contact that company, and tour guide. Absolutely recommend for this tour and working with this company.

Amazing guide!
Our guide Tamer was so knowledgeable and nice. He explained the sites so well and told memorable stories about each place. His experience made the tour worth it. While the boat was not the fanciest, you get what you pay for, which is nice. It was clean and the staff was helpful, though the food was hit or miss. I would highly recommend this tour to any first-timers in Egypt looking to learn history and have all the travel arrangements ready. Request Tamer!
