Wir hatten eine gute Reise mit dieser Nilkreuzfahrt.
Unsere Erfahrung könnte besser sein, wenn der Veranstalter einen separaten Reiseleiter für die Organisation der Logistik im Hintergrund eingesetzt hätte.
Das Schiff ist trotz seines Baujahres funktionstüchtig und sauber.
Das Personal ist freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und professionell.
Das Essen und die Getränke sind gut, aber angesichts des geringen Budgets gibt es eindeutig Raum für Verbesserungen.
Alles in allem eine gute Erfahrung, aber ich würde es mir zweimal überlegen, auch wenn es eine Nilkreuzfahrt zu einem moderaten Preis ist.

Great experience in the Nile river but tipping process in Egypt need to be more highlighted

Talaat Abdo is a great guide ! He could provid an extensive knowledge about ancient Egypt history as well as Egyptian mythology. Every place we went, there were always interesting stories from him.

I'd like to make some suggestions to Egypt Best Holidays team to better manage customer expectitions about the tipping process in Egypt. This is because people from different countries can have a various backgrounds about the tipping process. So, this point cannot be avoided but need to be carefully and well-managed in advance.
1. When we arrived the cruise, we were told to pay 30 USD for each person as a total tip for all staffs that would support us during the trip including
- cruise staffs
- bus/van/horse carriage/small boat driver
2. I am not really sure how the 30 USD/person is calculated. At that time, I was extremely tired from the early morning flight, so, I and my friend decided to pay the full amount without asking many questions. The only question we asked is that if it's possible to pay 50% of the proposed amount? (15 USD each) The answer I got back is that it would be unfair for the rest guests who pay in full amount. To be honest, I was not very sure if the 30 USD each is fair for me as well.
3. My point is that it could have been better if you can give us some background about the tipping process in Egypt. From where I come from, I would pay tip only if I feel satisfied with the service and only at the end of the service - not from the beginning ! Morever, tipping is not mandatory in my original country. So, giving the background for the tipping process as well as the estimated tip for all the staffs supporting us during the trip is a very crucial info that the customers need to know.

Amazing experience with Talaat Abdo very informative with great humor!! 10/10
Highly recommend it!! Just be ready to be waking up early, it’s a very packed program don’t expect to relax a lot! You will visit about 11 temples, the money you pay it’s definitely worth the experience!

Great tour with Talaat!
Our cruise from Aswan to Luxor, including a visit to Abu Simbel, was absolutely incredible! The scenery along the Nile was amazing, and the experience was made even better thanks to our amazing guide, Talaat Abdo!! Ask for him if you are booking!
Talaat really knows his stuff and made the history of Egypt come alive for us and he’s a jokester. From the massive temples at Abu Simbel to the fascinating stories about Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Luxor, he explained everything in a way that was fun and easy to understand. It honestly felt like he wasn’t just sharing facts but taking us on a journey through time.
Talaat cared about making the trip special for everyone. He was so friendly and approachable, always happy to answer questions and point out interesting details we’d have missed on our own.
Definitely visit the Nubian Village. Talaat made. His stories about Ramses II and Queen Nefertari were so captivating—they really made the site come to life.
The cruise itself was also fantastic. The boat was super comfortable, the food was good, for the it’s very good value for the experience!
If you’re thinking about doing a cruise in Egypt, I 100% recommend it—and make sure you ask for Talaat Abdo as your guide. He made an already amazing trip unforgettable. Thank you, Talaat!

Loved this cruise!! Highly recommend it.
We had an amazing time on this cruise! Our tour guide Talaat was very knowledgable, funny, and guided hs through all the busy streets of egypt and showed us all the great temples of egypt. I highly recommend this cruise specially with Talaat. He cared a lot about us and always asked if we are having a good time.
