Wonderful Nile Cruise and Knowledgable Tour Guide
Booked with Imperial Egypt, the cruise was exceptional. All of the staff are polite and attentive to our needs. The whole boat is very clean and they also take the extra step with cleaning the rooms (we found towel swans on the bed on the second day).
Hady, the tour guide, was the highlight of the trips. His English is great and has outstanding knowledge of all the temples and history. His guiding includes interactive sessions, which have helped me to remember the different Gods and relationships. He was also helpful in identifying which souvenirs were value for money and where to find them.

Amazing and interesting cruise with great guide
We had an amazing time on our Nile Cruise! We saw and did so much in the 4 days, but also had a nice amount of time to relax and make use of the roof deck pool. Our guide Hady was brilliant, he is very knowledgeable and knows so many interesting facts and figures - I don’t know how he remembers it all! He has a background as an archaeologist so knows a lot about the way things were built and the history behind them. He also used people in the group to help explain stories about the gods which was fun. The boat is lovely, there is a good amount of room in the cabins and th staff are all very helpful and friendly. We had an incredible time and would recommend a cruise with Imperial Egypt to anyone!

Best graduation gift
I went with my mom and this was one of the best trips we have been on. Hady with Imperial Egypt lead our group. He is very knowledgeable and funny which made the trip even better. He taught us so much about the temples and culture.

Met my expectations in many aspects.
We had such a helpful and experienced guide Hady who got us through the trip comfortably. Hady also did a good job in explaining and storytelling to make it easy to understand the long tales. The hotel room was comfortable and the staff were great. I’d definitely recommend this experience to anyone.

Wonderful Egypt immersion
Our cruise and tour was with the excellent guide Hady Ahmed with Imperial Egypt. The company and Hady were great to work with. Communication and expectations were clearly outlined. They provided a hassle free Egypt experience on a beautiful boat. Hady was very knowledgeable and a great storyteller regarding the history of Egypt. And entertaining. Food was good and plentiful. Sites and opportunities fit exactly the budget and travel expectations. The package was the highlight of the trip.

Talaat: The Soul of the Nile Experience
While I entered this guided tour with relatively limited experience, our operator, Talaat, far exceeded any expectations I might have held. He is a profoundly grounded individual who genuinely listens to his guests, providing immediate and practical solutions to even the most daunting logistical challenges.
What truly sets Talaat apart is his narrative depth; he offers a perspective on Egyptian history that feels authentic and lived, rooted in the spirit of the Egyptian people rather than the dry, detached viewpoint of global academia. Though his language skills possess a gritty, street-smart edge, he is an exceptional communicator who wields strong leadership and organizational prowess to navigate a demanding and hectic schedule.
While he occasionally utilized the standard guide practice of introducing local shops and add-on tours, he did so with professional restraint. I was particularly impressed by our visits to the spice and perfume shops; the quality of the products was superb, leading me to purchase a significant amount. Conversely, the stop at the Alabaster factory was a stark disappointment, bordering on the aggressive sales tactics one finds on the street.
Regarding the accommodations, we were booked on the *Royal Elite* cruise. While it is a respectable choice within the Nile fleet, I recommend managing your expectations accordingly. The service in the dining area can be somewhat overbearing, particularly regarding beverage sales. However, since the stay is only three nights, any friction is manageable—especially if you consult Talaat. He has a comprehensive understanding of the ship’s operations and remains the definitive person to resolve any issues.

Good but not perfect.
Clean, staff were friendly & attentive. Biggest issue was bad planning to the extent that we missed the on board breakfast 2 out of 3 times. A box meal is NOT an adequate option. Compulsory tips was an annoyance.
