Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le guide Hady, les explications étaient claires et originales. Il était très attentionné et organisé sur toutes les visites, nous n’avons jamais attendu. Le bateau de la croisière est de bon standing, le personnel est très serviable et attentionné. Les repas sont variés et généreux, la qualité laisse à désirer.

Where to start? Two days of air travel to get to Luxor from Gatwick! First flight took off late and one hour before we were due to land in Luxor we were diverted to Athens. due to a sandstorm. Why not Cairo? Sat on 'plane for 2 hours and then told we were returning to Gatwick. Big eruptions from all passengers. So we flew 4.5 hours back. We queued to get given a Hotel voucher and had to pay for our own taxi to reach it, in Crawley, from 6 a.m that morning, a 'plane ride of 11 hours and no hot food on the 'plane as they'd 'run out' we finally got to bed at midnight back in London, tired and hungry. Up early for a return to Gatwick - again paid for by us - for the next attempt to get to our Nile Cruise starting in Luxor. The 09.40 flight finally took off at 13.00 hrs that morning following many (unsubstationated) and frankly fabricated excuses, and a complete change of aeroplane at two different gates, we arrived in Luxor 4 hours and 19 minutes late to join our ship (Jaz Crown Emperor) which had inconveniently already sailed for the first stop on our 7 night Nile Cruise. We landed late in Luxor and had to once again be put up in a Hotel. We were given food even though the Restaurant had closed and the next morning were put on board a bus at 5a.m.with a dried up cheesy breakfast bap and a bottle of water, for a 3 hour bumpy ride to catch up with our tour boat at Edfu. After a 'rushed' tour of Edfu Temple we finally arrived on our ship exhausted, hungry and thirsty 35 hours after first leaving Gatwick. Large G and T's required! From then on our 'leisurely' Nile cruise began - the ship was tired but comfortable (5 star it isn't) and clean with lovely staff who couldn't do enough for us. Normal acivities rescued until the last day when we were due to fly home and before we were bussed to the airport we had to squeeze in (what should have been our first two and most 'must-do') sites of the cruise......Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple We loved Egypt, our tour guide Smiley (you're the best) but will never, EVER fly Easyjet again - ANYWHERE -nor would we book through Hays Travel who have not even acknowledged our help with compensation despite the efforts of Harriet- our travel consultant to get customer services to call to discuss our case. Shame. Hays are good at arranging trips but rubbish at any form of after sales service leaving us to fight our own corner with Easyjet, who pushed us back and forth with various negative emails ending up with us resorting to going through the Air Dispute Resolution centre. We totally lost 2 days of a 7 day holiday (yes we get that the sandstorm occurred and circumstances were fraught) but it doesn't excuse the lack of care, late departures and refusal to compensate us for our second flight debacle. Be warned.

La croisière est aussi passionante que intense. Levers a 3h30-4h du matin tous les jours pour visiter les temples à la fraîche. Des visites en soirée pour le coucher de soleil. A noter le bateau particulièrement beau, le lady Mary, les chambres sont spacieuses et propres et la piscine très bien. Le guide Talaat Abdo, a tout organisé pour que toutes les visites, depuis l'aéroport jusqu'à l'hôtel de fin de croisière se passent bien. Il nous a informés à chaque étape du voyage de ce que nous allions faire, des points de rdv, et c'était très sécurisant d'être avec lui. Il nous a donné toutes les explications nécessaires pour bien comprendre ce que nous visitions, avec beaucoup d'humour. Je recommande cette croisière.
