Our guide, Mokhtar Yonis, was a true highlight of the journey. His passion for Egyptology is unmatched, and his depth of knowledge brought ancient history to life in a way that was both captivating and accessible. Whether we were standing in front of the Great Pyramid of Giza or exploring the vast treasures of the Egyptian Museum, Mokhtar’s insights added layers of meaning and wonder that no guidebook ever could. He was not only incredibly educated and articulate, but also warm, patient, funny, and eager to answer every question with enthusiasm and detail.
Equally impressive was our driver, Osama, who expertly navigated the bustling streets of Cairo with a calm professionalism that made us feel completely safe and at ease. The city’s traffic can be chaotic, but Osama’s skillful driving kept everything running smoothly. He was always waiting for us with a smile and a cool, comfortable vehicle, making every transfer a breeze.
From the moment we were picked up until we said our goodbyes, we felt completely taken care of. The Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum are truly wonders of the world, but experiencing them with Mokhtar and Osama made the trip exceptional. If you’re planning a visit to Cairo, this private tour is an absolute must. We cannot recommend Mokhtar and Osama enough. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we’re deeply grateful for the memories they helped create.

Had a great day out at the pyramids! Our guide was very knowledgeable and the driver did a good job of transporting us safely to our various locations. The pyramids and sphinx are a must when in Alexandria!

Nuestro tour privado con Sameh fue genial. Él es súper conocedor de la historia de Egipto y explicó todo con gran detalle. Nuestro tour se salió un poco del plano debido a que no queríamos entrar en la pirámide más grande después de entrar en la más pequeña, así que en su lugar tuvimos un viaje en barco por el Nilo que fue muy relajante después de todo el agitado día viendo todos los demás lugares de interés. Momen era un guía turístico perfecto muy bien informado sobre todo Egipto, El Cairo y Giza. Estuvo muy atento a todas las necesidades de nuestro grupo pudimos visitar las pirámides, el antiguo museo egipcio en El Cairo visitar algunas tiendas especiales, la Esfinge. Todos los elementos del itinerario fueron visitados. Éramos un grupo de habla inglesa. Aprendimos mucho. Solid tour of Cairo
Diana was a good tour guide who was very knowledgeable about Egypt and Cairo. She met us at the port and her and our driver Yasser took us to Cairo from Alexandria. They were able to ensure we saw what we wanted and were very kind.
Only downside was stopping at a perfume shop to get a hard sell on stuff we were not interested in, should have asked to skip.
They got us back on time and were friendly and helpful!

Gran excursión de un día desde Alejandría a El Cairo
Mis amigos y yo (grupo de 6 ) tuvimos una excursión de un día desde Alejandría (puerto de cruceros) a El Cairo.
Fue un gran viaje. Todo estaba más allá de mis expectativas.
Nuestro guía turístico, Khaled, era muy conocedor de la historia y la cultura egipcia, así que aprendimos mucho a través de este viaje.
Él también fue muy flexible en acomodar nuestras peticiones adicionales, como acortar la parada en el bazar o parar en Starbucks en nuestro camino de regreso.
El conductor (no cogió su nombre) era muy hábil y nos sentimos muy seguros incluso en situaciones de tráfico a veces caóticas de El Cairo.

One amazing day in Cairo
We had an amazing visit to Cairo for the day. Our driver Mahmoud was there to meet us on time in Alexandria and effortlessly navigated his way through the crazy traffic. Then our awesome tour guide, Moses, met us in Cairo and proceeded to give us a very knowledgable tour of the city, the pyramids and the Egyptian Museum. Moses was super friendly and very educated in Egyptology so was able to give us very detailed information about the history which was extremely interesting. This made for a very enjoyable day along with a very nice lunch on the tour. We appreciated the ability to change the itinerary slightly to suit our needs. I would absolutely recommend this private tour for anyone arriving in Alexandria for the day and wanting to see Cairo/Giza and the amazing pyramids.
