Overview
PADI Open Water Diver course is conducted by PADI certified professions and provides is a life long certification to dive to 18m independently which is recognized world wide. Comprising of 4 Open Water Dives, 5 Confined Water Dives and 5 Theory sessions the course is completed in 3 days. The Open Water Dives are conducted in the beautiful waters of the Egyptian Red Sea providing the opportunity to see the diverse array of marine life.

Good to know

- Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
- A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
- Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or change of activity

This was amazing advanced open water course - we learnt loads AND saw amazing aquatic life like mola mola, white tip sharks , napoleon fish - and beautiful coral! Incredible!! Moustafa is also the most amazing human/ dive master !!!!

Amazing dive with instructor Amr
I really enjoyed my experience with Piramids diving center, mostly because of instructor Amr. I was very scared to dive and after diving in a pool I wanted to cancel sea dive. Amr reassured me that I will be fine, he was very professional and calm and I felt braver to try an open sea diving. He was next to me all the time controlling every step in the open water and I felt very comfortable and relaxed. It was magnificent experience and I would like to recommend everyone to go for certification course as it allows you to dive anywhere is the world.

Open Water Padi
I highly recommend Pyramid Diving Centre, the instructors and staff there are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our instructor was brilliant, able to connect with teenagers and adults on the course and was very accomodating when I couldnt do the first dive as I had a slight panic about being under water. The instructor invited me back the following day and said try again tomorrow, I did and he got me up to speed with the rest of the group. I could'nt think of a better place to learn, such beautiful coral, fish, clear turquoise water and a lovely beach to sit on between dives. All the instructors are very knowledgable, calm and encouraging. I will definitely go back to Pyramid Diving for more dives and instruction. Raisie

Perfect diving school
Very good diving school, with very friendly and helpful staff. My instructor Nassar was very sympathetic and you feel safe with him from the beginning. The diving school is highly recommended.

Myself and my two boys (19 & 16) did a number of dives through this Center. My boys completed their Padi Open Water with Mohamed AbdElkarim, he was excellent. They finished completely at home in the water and had amazing dives.. Thanks Mohamed! I did a refresher course with Wessam and he ensured nothing was left to chance and after a gap of 8 years between diving I felt really confident diving again. The only downside is the beach where it is located is a bit tatty and was a 15m drive from our hotel (Steigenberger) but on the other hand the house reef is excellent with Napoleon fish, ray and Moray Eel all seen on our dives and this is what we went for.. not the quality of the sunbeds (!).. it really is teeming with life. We also did two dives & snorkelling at Tiran Island and again this was excellent on a large boat with great facilities. Once again our instructor Mina was great and we had amazing dives seeing Leopard Shark and Turtle.. Not to mention the pod of Dolphins on the way :-) Special thanks for Sabrina who was always on hand at the end of my WhatsApp to answer any questions. Thanks Pyramid.

Open water diver course with Mustafa #1
We had a fantastic experience with Mustafa and his team. Saw lots of different fish icluding lion fish, moray and parrot. Would highly recommend. Very profession outfit!
