Overview

Experience the largest museum of ancient Egyptian art with its treasures of Egypt’s great past, such as the high-quality tomb goods. Our tour guide will humorously explain the most important exhibits in a two-hour stay and answer your questions. Marvel at the last existing wonder of the world - a fabulous experience! A total of three pyramids can be found here : the Chephren, the Cheops and the Mykerinos pyramid. You can discover the terrain on foot, horseback or on camel for yourself. After visiting the pyramids of Giza, you will head to the Great Sphinx, by far the largest and most preserved sphinx. It consists of a human head on a lion's body. The sphinx was hewn from the remains of a limestone hill that served as a quarry for the Cheops pyramid. Felukenfahrt on the Nile. In consultation with the tour group for a fee.

Giza and the Pyramids

Excursion with attention to detail, from communication to organization. Pick up around 4am (depends on the distance of the Hotel from the airport. After the checks you go to the check-in desk of the airline (our EgyptAir) and with a 50-minute flight (departed early) you arrive in Cairo, where at the exit, the guide (the kind and professional Mohammed) awaits you. After visiting Giza and the Pyramids you will visit a perfume factory (King ALi palace) and a papyrus museum (Egypt Papyrus Museum), where, if you want, you can buy their products. You will have lunch with a good buffet (included) at the Queen Cleopatra Restaurant & Coffee (drinks aside). You then visit the old Egyptian museum. Optional (but not recommended) mini cruise on the Nile. Simple half-hour boat ride with too loud music and nothing interesting to see. If you have time left you can make a visit to the Cairo Festival City Mall. Arrival at the hotel is scheduled for 22:30 (depending on the time of the return flight). Thanks to Mohammed for his kindness and availability.

Wonderful excursion

I found this package on the Internet! The best price found! I contacted the tour operator on whatsapp and they were clear and detailed in the information! They sent us plane tickets on whatsapp! In the morning the shuttle arrived to pick us up at the resort, he drove us to the airport. Once landed we found the guide and the shuttle with driver, both very kind! We felt like family! We visited the Egyptian museum with all the historical explanations (entrance tickets made by them). We visited factory paper papyrus with the Italian explanation and demonstration of the process from papyrus to paper. Visit to the perfume factory, amazing! Buying is optional but it was inevitable .. wonderful scents! We had lunch in a typical Egyptian restaurant, then a visit to the pyramids, the sphinx ... the Egyptologist Mohamed very prepared! We enjoyed the driver Ahmed who made us find bottles of fresh water and snacks in the shuttle!!! Visit typical khan el khalili market...We took a boat ride on the Nile River (10€ per person, optional)...before arriving at the airport for the return flight we were asked if we wanted to have dinner since the scheduled arrival in Sharm was 00:30 They were kind enough to take us to the MC donald, we had dinner and they drove us to the airport! Landed in Sharm we found their driver who drove us back to the resort!!! Get organized very well!!! An excursion 10 and praise!!! Thank you!!!

Cairo and the pyramids of Giza by plane

This was the most remarkable experience. Book Tour Egypt was great from beginning to the end. The communication was excellent and they answered all my questions even late at night. We did the Cairo trip by plane and it was a group of 8 older women. One of my group was disabled. We were picked up outside our hotel at 4:00a.m. And taken to Sharm airport in a comfortable air conditioned minibus. The 8 of us were joined by 2 other women from our hotel so we were not overcrowded. On arrival at Cairo airport we were met by the wonderful Ahmed. He was warm and welcoming and when he saw we had a disabled member he was so accommodating. Our first stop was the museum and Ahmed was thinking ahead, he got us straight to the Tutankhamen tomb ahead of the crowds and he requested a wheel chair for my friend so that she could fully partake in the activity. We thoroughly enjoyed the pyramids, we visited an oil perfumery at the Spinks, took the camel rides and enjoyed so much more. It was an amazing day which ended with a cruise down the Nile. To top all things off, my disabled friend lost her phone. When I messaged Book Tour Egypt, they went far beyond our expectations to retrieve the phone. It was either found at the Sharm airport or left on the Egypt Air plane but wherever it was they made sure they found it and sent it to our hotel by taxi. This was after the tour with them was over but they still treated us with such care as valuable customers. This was customer service at its best and most thank Ahmed our very knowledgeable tour guide, Mahmoud, our guide in training and our bus driver (sorry I can’t remember your name). This is an activity I would highly recommend and certainly a company that deserves much more than 5 stars.

Unforgettable day trip with Egypt Book Tour and our guide Mr. Fahmy

On May 10th we had the opportunity to experience an impressive day trip from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo with the Egypt Book Tour (EBT) agency – and it was a complete success from start to finish. Booking was made easily via WhatsApp. All questions were answered quickly and friendly, communication was always reliable and helpful. We would particularly like to highlight our fantastic tour guide Mr. Fahmy, who accompanied us as a small German-Polish-Arab group (four adults + one baby) throughout the day. With his charming, calm manner, he not only guided us safely through Cairo and Giza, but impressed us all when he seamlessly switched between German, Polish, English and Arabic within seconds – on a native-speaking level! A linguistic masterpiece we have never experienced before. We visited the Egyptian Museum, the Papyrus Institute, an Egyptian perfume and oil factory, several mosques, and took a boat trip on the Nile. Mr. Fahmy explained every detail with great passion and expertise, told us a lot about the history, culture and architecture of Egypt and always kept an eye on making sure we felt comfortable and safe. This tour was a real highlight of our trip to Egypt for all of us – Germans and Poles alike. We are grateful for this smooth process, the dedicated service of the agency and the warmth of our guide. Conclusion: An all-round perfect day with an exceptional guide – Egypt Book Tour is highly recommended!

Recommended, a good time performance

About the trip:. The trip was well organised. The morning transfer to the airport was smooth as the operator had given time instructions the day before and the driver spoke fluent English. Check-in was at the counter with plenty of time to spare. The guide spoke in a clear and easy-to-hear voice and we were easy to understand his explanations. We also had the opportunity to stop at the toilets several times, which made us feel comfortable and relaxed on the trip. We were also provided with cold bottles of water at constant intervals, which was good. Lunch was a buffet, but of similar quality to the restaurants taken on package tours. We did not go inside the pyramids (not included in the tour), but the weather was good that day and we also got to see the pyramids in the distance, so we were generally satisfied with the tour. Requests: It should be possible to take an optional tour inside the pyramids. About the tour operator:. I had originally requested a tour on a different day but it was not offered and the tour operator was patient in suggesting adjustments to the itinerary. I am glad that I was able to join the tour on the 5th, even though it ended up on a different day. The operator followed up with me after the booking and on the day of the tour, which made me feel at ease. It was also good that we were able to go to McDonald's in Egypt as a service to get dinner as we had a late flight. Tip:. The toilets were not as good as others had commented on, so please read those comments.Bringing tissues is recommended. The participants paid in EGP, EUR and USD. The optional camel/carriage ride at the Pyramids and the Nile River tour can be paid for by credit card. After consulting with the guide, the link was received from the operator via whatsapp and payment was made without any problems. The number of photos and composition varied depending on the person who took the photos. It is necessary to be creative by preparing the composition and pose you would like to have your photograph taken in.The guide told us that we would tip if we wanted to, but most of the other participants were giving tips as well. The Nile River tour does not include snacks or drinks and takes you around the Nile River. There are no pyramids along the river, so it did not seem particularly new. If you don't join, you will probably end up waiting in your car by the river. The tour includes a visit to a perfume factory and a papyrus museum, which are popular with package tours in this area, but the sales people are not that pressuring. In Khan el-Khalili, the pressure on salespeople are lower than in Marrakech. There was free time.Prices must be negotiated.

An amazing family adventure to the Pyramids

We just returned from an incredible trip to the Pyramids in Giza, and it was truly unforgettable! Thank you Book Tour Egypt! We flew to Cairo from Sharm El Sheikh, which was a breeze. Our day kicked off at the Egyptian Museum, where the treasures of Tutankhamun really brought history to life. Lunch was a highlight—an amazing buffet with breathtaking views of the Pyramids! It was the perfect backdrop while we enjoyed delicious local dishes. Our tour guides, Ahmed and Mahmood, were fantastic, effortlessly switching between Italian and English, making the experience all the more enjoyable. Next, we explored the lively markets in the old town, soaking up the vibrant atmosphere and haggling for souvenirs. The Nile cruise was magical, with stunning views as we watched the sunset while dining on board. It was a full-on day for my partner and our energetic 6-year-old, but every moment was filled with laughter and joy—truly magical memories! The only downside was a visit to a local perfumery, which felt a bit like a hard sell. But overall, it didn’t dampen our spirits. We wrapped up our adventure at a modern mall, enjoying a bit of retail therapy. In summary, this trip was packed with extraordinary moments, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking fun and culture in Egypt! The tour operator Book Tour Egypt made the whole process very easy from start to finish.
