Overview

Experience the largest museum of ancient Egyptian art with its treasures of Egypt’s great past, such as the high-quality tomb goods. Our tour guide will humorously explain the most important exhibits in a two-hour stay and answer your questions. Marvel at the last existing wonder of the world - a fabulous experience! A total of three pyramids can be found here : the Chephren, the Cheops and the Mykerinos pyramid. You can discover the terrain on foot, horseback or on camel for yourself. After visiting the pyramids of Giza, you will head to the Great Sphinx, by far the largest and most preserved sphinx. It consists of a human head on a lion's body. The sphinx was hewn from the remains of a limestone hill that served as a quarry for the Cheops pyramid. Felukenfahrt on the Nile. In consultation with the tour group for a fee.

What you'll see

  1. Sharm El Sheikh
    Full day

You will be picked up from your hotel around 4am. Upon arrival in Cairo, your tour guide will meet you and accompany you throughout the tour. Meet your Egyptological tour guide at the museum to start your day. Visit the state-of-the-art Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the largest archaeological museum in the world with over 100,000 artifacts, or the Ancient Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Select your preferred museum during the booking process. Afterwards, enjoy your lunch. The further course of the excursion will take you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The pyramid tour ends at the Sphinx and the temple in its vicinity. If time permits, you will have the opportunity to drive to Cairo Bazaar at the end of the day before returning to Sharm el Sheikh. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be driven to your hotel in an air-conditioned car.

  2. Khan Al-Khalili Bazaar
    1 hour

When returning from Cairo in the late evening, we will spend some time visiting medieval London (Khan el Klalili Market), Old Cairo, recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage List, or Cairo Festival City, an extra-large shopping mall (air-conditioned), one of the largest in the Middle East. Full of the most famous international brands, restaurants, cafés and a giant dancing fountain, where you'll be drawn to Cairo's chic, modern nightlife.

  3. Cairo
    Pass by

If we have time, we can make two characteristic visits to the Papyrus Museum and the Essential Oils Factory. These two attractions will introduce you to ancient Egyptian techniques for making papyrus and essences. These two interesting visits expand your knowledge of daily life in ancient Egypt and are also helpful for the Egyptian farmers who work in these sectors and preserve these very ancient handicrafts from ancient Egypt. (These visits depend on the time remaining.)

Not to be missed!

I really enjoyed my day here. If you are visiting Egypt, Cairo and the pyramids are not to be missed! Seeing the pyramids is definitely one of my big travel highlights! The whole day went very smoothly, communication was good and the pick up was on time. Special mention for our tour guide Mr Raafat who had sooo much knowledge and explained everything very well. We made unforgettable memories. Do be aware in the perfume oil store not to buy anything larger than the small size, as you will have difficulty going through airport security bringing it back to sharm el sheikh.

I just wanted to share my delightful experience from our tour in Cairo yesterday with Khaled as our guide. He truly made the day unforgettable with his extensive knowledge and infectious enthusiasm. Khaled's storytelling brought the rich history of Cairo to life, making each site we visited even more fascinating. His attentiveness and friendliness ensured everyone felt included and engaged throughout the tour. It was a day filled with learning, laughter, and awe, thanks to Khaled's exceptional guidance. I highly recommend him for anyone looking to explore Cairo in a meaningful and enjoyable way.

Unforgettable experience with you prof khalid

We booked an excursion to giza and sakkara with tour of museums and cites Cairo luck would have it that accompanies us Mr. Khalid or rather doctor Khalid who made us live an unforgettable experience two days to discover Egyptian history, explained everything without ever being bored or getting bored, tactical tour and explanations that remain impressed seemed to be in the desks of a school but with a professor who entertained us we will return to find them definitely recommend their tours because it is worth it ❤️❤️❤️

The best excursion we’ve ever booked

Communication with the provider was outstanding. Pick was prompt and welcoming. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and did everything he could to make our experience memorable, we saw so much in one day! He even took our photos and knew all the best spots. The lunch was incredible, we even went to old Islam, which is a must! Thank you! Excellent value for money

An unforgettable experience with Book Trip Egypt!

I went on a day trip to Cairo and couldn’t be more satisfied. Our guide was exceptional: charismatic, super prepared and always attentive to give us useful tips on how to deal with local vendors a bit 'intrusive. He also explained clearly when and to whom it was appropriate to tip, helping us to live the experience in an authentic and serene way. We learned a lot about both the history of the Pyramids and the city of Cairo – information that alone is worth the trip! As for payment: they ask for an advance by bank transfer and the difference is paid in cash the day before the excursion. No problem, no worries: I received a regular receipt and the driver arrived on time at the hotel. Impeccable service! You save a lot, probably because they are an independent agency, but the quality is 10 and praise. Service, availability and professionalism TOP. 100% recommended!

Amazing! Highly recommend to book this

This trip was really worth it. It is a long and tiring day but it is so incredibly good value for money!!! We were picked up right on time and taken to the airport all smooth with the flights and tickets etc. Ahmed then met us in Cairo and was our tour guide. He made sure to speak to everyone equally and explained so much interesting information! He also took amazing photos of us. I recommend taking a little cash if you are doing this trip for tips, souvenirs etc. plenty of opportunities to use the bathroom and get snacks/ drinks as well as cold water provided throughout the day. Myself and my husband would thoroughly recommend this trip (honest review from two 21 year olds who love to travel and have done many tripadvisor trips).

Very good pace, balance and quality

We loved the trip. Great guide Ahmed was both informative and fun. He engaged us during the entire day. Very well balanced schedule. An extra option to ride on camels near pyramids was a highlight for us. Including fun photos by locals with Ahmed’s assurance that it was safe to give them our phones😉 and advice on adequate tips. The only downside did not depend on the agency. It was a very early pickup time and a long wait for the late plane back.

plane trip to Cairo from Sharm el Sheikh

The trip was organized at the highest level. Everything was on time. Comfortable flight and transfers. All the main attractions and lunch were included in the price, according to the offer. A very nice Polish-speaking guide who helped us a lot when traveling with a small child (e.g. he helped to carry the stroller where there was no elevator). There was free time for a camel ride, a cruise on the Nile (additional fee). We also went to a perfume shop and a papyrus shop. The office provided water in the price, which, with the temperature of 35 degrees, was a bull's eye. I recommend this agency to everyone, we will definitely come back when we are in Egypt again. Warmest greetings to our guide (name starting with F, unfortunately I don't remember) - you are wonderful!
