We had an amazing half day with Mina. From the beginning he was very flexible with us, gave us great hospitality and amazing knowledge of all the history. This is a tour I really recommend a guide for because Mina brings it to life and tells you things you would not know just walking around. We also enjoyed the trip to the spice shop (with no pressure) as it was all super fresh and organic. We had a great tour and so happy we chose this - so leaving this review to help others make an easy decision to book these guys. Thank you Mina :)

Our guide, Sayed, and our driver (forgot his name, sorry!) were very attentive. The dust and dryness affected my nose and they offered me unlimited tissues. Was very fun listening to Sayed talk about his favorite pharaoh, Thutmose III.

Raymon was an excellent tour guide! He is very knowledgeable and spoke English very well for us to understand him. He gave us the history background information in detail and lead us around then allowed us to explore a little on our own without being rushed. He was extremely friendly and kind. We enjoyed it so much that we specially requested him for our next tour!

We visited the Luxor and Karnak temple. The Karnak temple is large and impressive. The Luxor temple is definitely worth a visit, very nice. The guide told clearly and extensively. He told a lot about the different periods, rulers and buildings. The guide was flexible and listened carefully to what we wanted.

Nearing the end of our trip and having seen lots of temples already, we opted for the car and driver option instead of with a guide. The car arrived on time at our hotel, and we were glad he spoke English, though we had no problems with those who did not. On the whole it worked very well; we enjoyed strolling at our own pace through Karnak and Luxor. The reason for the lower review is that the driver was not waiting for us when we came out of the Luxor Temple. We were done sooner than expected, so we assume he chose to use the time for his own purposes. With our phone dying, we were left in the dark waiting for his return. He did come back and get us, but if you are being paid to wait, then it seems wrong to not be there. Karnak is very much worth the visit; Luxor a little less so.
