Loved the layers of history
Fantastic tour of two of the most important and fascinating sites we visited during our time in Luxor. Our very knowledgeable guide Emad was just superb - explaining the historical context of what we were seeing with insight and humour, as well as pointing out interesting details we surely would have missed if we’d done it alone. Karnak was truly spectacular, but the remnants of Luxor temple’s brush with Christianity and Alexander the Great were an unexpected highlight. Highly recommended!

Excellent tour
Our guide Raymond was great! He was friendly and knowledgable and interactive. He provided us with interesting information but then gave us as much time as we wanted to explore on our own. The best guide we had during our trip to Egypt. Really enjoyed Luxor and Karnak temples, a must see in Luxor.

Memorable experience
Our day with Mina has been memorable, he is a very attentive and caring guide, well-prepared about the history of Egypt and its archaeological sites. He also gave us some time after each introduction to explore the sites by ourselves and take pictures, always making us feel listened to and well-taken care of.

Schöner Ausflug zum Karnak und Luxor Tempel
Wir wurden pünktlich um 9 Uhr von unserem Hotel durch den Fahrer Mina und unseren tollen deutschsprachigen Guide Adel abgeholt. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass das für die beiden Tempel schon sehr spät war, weil beide am (Oster)sonntag voller großer touristengruppen aus Hurghada waren. Unser Guide Adel hat uns aber soviel über die beiden Tempel erzählt und gezeigt, vieles davon abseits der üblichen Routen der großen Gruppen, so dass uns die vielen Menschen gar nicht so gestört haben. Adel hat auch vieles über seine Familie, über die Ägypter und über die Stadt Luxor berichtet. Übrigens war sein Deutsch wirklich sehr gut verständlich! Insgesamt gesehen war das eine tolle, informative Tour, die wir absolut empfehlen würden!

Highly recommend especially with children!
Mina was a really incredible guide and a highlight of our trip to Luxor. He was very patient and kind with our four year old, even carrying her when she was hot and fussy! It was really lovely to be guided around by somebody with an energetic passion for the history of his hometown.
