Fine

It was fine. Tour guide explained things a but too fast to take a rest and we are left with each other for most of the time. It seems that tour guide wanted to go home early, as there are zones that she did nkt bother to take a look at. The sights themselves are marvelous!

Awesome Tour of Luxor!

Great tour! Salwa was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable and did an amazing job showing us around. She allowed us to take our time and take pictures and go at our own pace. We enjoyed every aspect and really felt that we were able to learn all the history of Luxor and Egypt!!

Some things could be better

Salwa was a nice guide who had a lot of knowledge on the Temples. We visited both sides of Luxor, so as a concept it works. I would prefer to not have visited the Alabaster Factory and wished I could have learned more from the guide, instead of trying to sell me things. Overall the price is good. If you choose the option of lunch not included you will still have to go to a pre chosen restaurant, but the price/quality is not the best comparing to other restaurants in the area. It was clear that the only customers of the restaurant were brought in by tour guides.

Ahmed was very kind! He...

Ahmed was very kind! He talked to me about various things and I learned a little something. However, the restaurant he took us to for lunch was buffet-style, and it cost 1,500 EGP for two people, even though we didn't even order a drink. These guys were probably accomplices. I was starting to trust Ahmed, so I neglected to do the basic thing of asking the price at the beginning. I regret it. Then, at the end of the trip, he suggested an optional felucca ride. I declined because I had planned to do it the next day, and he immediately became upset. Even when I asked him casually, "What do you recommend we do the next day?" he demanded money. I was really worried about whether he would actually take me back to the hotel. But other than that, it was great. He gave me a recommended sightseeing time, and we were able to see everything in just the right amount of time. I think two hours would have been enough for the Valley of the Kings. In Luxor, where rip-offs and unreliable tours are common, I highly recommend this tour, which covers a lot of things for a good price!
