Amazing day trip to Cairo & great value
Well organised trip that is great value - a must do if you’re staying in Sharm. I highly recommend it!
Got picked up about 4am and taken to the airport (note that if you haven’t already purchased a visa then you will need one before you fly) short 1 hour flight to Cairo where we met our driver (Mohammed) and guide for the day (Ahmed). We also met the rest of our group which was only 7 of us in total so a nice group size.
First stop was pyramids which were amazing, might be one of the best things I’ve ever seen and would recommend going just to see these!
Ahmed was great in explaining the history and construction and we had a good few hours to explore these. You have the opportunity here to do a camel ride for an extra charge if you’re interested.
Next stop was the oils/essence experience. Here you are shown different types of essences and then given the opportunity to buy these. Personally I could have done without this but others on the trip purchased some items so maybe just a personal taste
After this we went to lunch which by that point was well needed! The food wasn’t that great but we were so hungry we just made do.
After this we went to a papyrus shop - this time no one in our group bought anything so not sure if this is for everyone.
After the shop we headed to the museum which was really interesting. Best part was Tutankhamen room although bear in mind you’re not allowed to take photos in this room!
Next was Nile cruise which is also an additional charge - this part was nice and relaxing after what had already been a long day by this point, personally I’d of liked this to be longer.
Finally we were driven the old town and Ahmed took us exploring the narrow and very busy streets! This was a great part of the day but
could be a bit stressful for anyone who doesn’t like large crowds.
We were then taken to the airport and we were grateful for our driver to stop at McDonald’s on the way back so that we could have some dinner!
Arrived back at our hotel around 11:30pm, so a realllllly long day (about 20 hours) but a really great day nonetheless.
Overall I’d definitely recommend this trip, just be wary of how long of a day it is. Make sure to bring spending money as you will need it if you want to do the camel ride/nile cruise etc.
I think there are some parts that could be taken out/shortened to make the day shorter but that might just be my personal taste.
My final tip is to definitely book via Book Tour Egypt vs Tui as it’s several hundred pounds cheaper!! Ahmed was excellent throughout the day and kept up his energy and enthusiasm even whilst he was fasting. He was also good in keeping sellers/beggers away from the group so we felt very safe with him.

Organised trip. Good value.
Well organised trip. Good communication from the operator.
Flights on time.
Great to have everything organised prior with entrance fees included to main attractions.
Food lovely on the trip.
Extras to pay for are the camels & the Nile cruise. These are optional but would definitely recommend.
Only negatives were the oil factory & papyrus. If you're into that then it's interesting.
I would have preferred a longer cruise on the Nile instead.

Erstaunlich
Gebucht die zwei Tour mit Übernachtung und was für eine Tour!
Ausgezeichnete und schnelle Kommunikation während der Buchung, die sich mit pünktlicher Abholung und Rückgabe widerspiegelte. Alles klar kommuniziert und lief wie Uhrwerk.
Khalid und Schumacher (unser Fahrer) waren beide freundlich, freundlich, respektvoll und sachkundig.
Erlaubte uns, alle Schönheit, Charme und Wahrzeichen Kairos in zwei Tagen zu genießen.
Höhepunkt war natürlich die Große Pyramide von Gizeh, aber wir konnten auch das neu eröffnete Große Ägyptische Museum besuchen.
Kam mit einer erstaunlichen Menge an Wissen davon, das wir allein nicht hätten sammeln können.
Ich liebte es, dass wir in der Lage waren, einen Vorgeschmack auf Kairo über den Nil zu erleben, die Moschee zu besuchen. Hängende Kirche und Markt.
Wir verließen Kairo mit vollem Bauch und vollem Herzen.
Empfehlenswert ist die zweitägige Tour.

Alles einfach, der Transport und der Guide ist freundlich. Ausflüge gut gemacht. Hat bei der Buchung alles erwähnt. Sie können es alleine tun, es ist sicher.

Amazing day
Der Tag war von Anfang bis Ende sehr gut organisiert. Wir fühlten uns sicher und sehr gut informiert von unserem äußerst sachkundigen Guide, der dafür sorgte, dass wir alle Highlights sahen und die bestmögliche Erfahrung hatten. Unser Fahrer war immer genau da, wo wir ihn brauchten und wir machten mehrere Stopps für Essen und Trinken, wann immer wir brauchten. Kairo ist ein verrückter Ort, und wir haben viel in unseren Tag gequetscht, aber die Erfahrung fühlte sich einfach und unkompliziert. Meine beiden Kinder (12 und 16 ) haben den Tag wirklich genossen und mein Mann sagte, es war einer der besten Tage seines Lebens, da er immer den Ehrgeiz hatte, die Pyramiden zu sehen. Ich würde diese Erfahrung absolut empfehlen.

Ausflug mit Sohn
Gut organisiert von Anfang bis Ende. Vom Hotel abgeholt. Leicht gefundener Reiseführer in Kairo. Ausgezeichneter Guide, er war wirklich kenntnisreich. Ausgezeichneter Fahrer, wie er uns von einem zu sein, ohne zu stürzen war erstaunlich.

It’s a very long day!!...
It’s a very long day!! Cairo is mad! The driver is worth every penny. Be prepared to say NO, you will be asked for extra. You can do an optional horse or camel ride near the pyramids, but you will then be asked to TIP.

Excellent trip and service!
Last week, my friends and I visited Cairo by plane. From the beginning, booking the trip was easy and smooth, with excellent communication throughout. Upon landing, we were warmly welcomed by our tour guide, Khaled. Khaled's extensive knowledge and ability to answer all our questions impressed us greatly.
What we appreciated the most was his engaging way of sharing information, which was easy for both us and our kids to understand. He even followed up with questions to ensure we had memorised the details, a brilliant method for engagement! A day to remenber
Fabulos day!
Our guide, Ahmed was amazing! He is a story teller! He answers us on evrery single questions. In the end of this day we fell that like we won a real friend in Cairo!
