Morgens werden Sie von Ihrem Hotel abgeholt. Sie führt entlang am Golf von Suez. In Kairo angekommen, nimmt Sie Ihr Reiseleiter in Empfang, der Sie die ganze Tour über begleiten wird. Der Ausflug beginnt mit einem Besuch des Ägyptischen Museums, das neben seinen über 120.000 Exponaten auch den goldenen Sarg von Tutanchamun beherbergt oder das alte ägyptische Museum. Im Anschluss genießen Sie Ihr Mittagessen. Der weitere Verlauf des Ausflugs führt Sie zu den großen Pyramiden von Cheops, Chephren und Mykerinus. Die Pyramidenbesichtigung endet bei der Sphinx und dem in ihrem Umfeld liegenden Tempel. Sofern es die Zeit zulässt, haben Sie zum Abschluss des Tages die Möglichkeit, zum Bazar von Kairo zu fahren, bevor die Rückreise nach Sharm el Sheikh angetreten wird. Am Ende des Ausfluges vielleicht besucht man Parfüm Fabrik oder Papyrus Fabrik un das hängt von der verbliebenen Zeit ab.

Bestaunen Sie das letzte existierende Weltwunder - ein sagenhaftes Erlebnis! Insgesamt drei Pyramiden finden Sie hier: die Chephren-, die Cheops- und die Mykerinos- Pyramide. Sie können das Gelände zu Fuß, zu Pferd oder auf dem Kamel für sich entdecken. Dauer zwischen 2 und 3 Stunden.
Nach dem Besuch der Pyramiden von Gizeh geht es zur Großen Sphinx, der mit Abstand größten und erhaltenen Sphinx. Sie besteht aus einem Menschenkopf auf einem Löwenkörper. Die Sphinx wurde aus dem Rest eines Kalksteinhügels gehauen, der als Steinbruch für die Cheops-Pyramide diente. Dauer ca. 20 - 30 Minuten.
Da alle Busse am Ende des Tages auf den Konvoi warten müssen, der von Kairo nach Sharm fährt, werden Sie einen oder zwei der folgenden Stopps einlegen: charakteristische Besuche im Papyrusmuseum und in der Fabrik für ätherische Öle. Diese beiden Attraktionen machen Sie mit den alten ägyptischen Techniken zur Herstellung von Papyrus und Essenzen vertraut. Diese beiden interessanten Besuche werden Ihr Wissen über das tägliche Leben im alten Ägypten erweitern und auch den ägyptischen Bauern helfen, die in diesen Sektoren arbeiten und diese sehr alten Handarbeiten aus dem alten Ägypten bewahren. (Während Sie auf die Rückkehr des Konvois warten)

Amazing trip and our guide (Italian and English speaking) Ahmed was incredible and very knowledgable. The bus journey was long but the trip itself makes up for it, there were regular stops for refreshment and bathroom breaks. Cairo is a busy city but you feel safe and the attractions are incredible. Definitely value for money and would love to book with the agent again for Luxor in the future

What a fantastic trip and a lovely experience. I was fairly apprehensive as a solo travel venturing out of my resort but needn't had worried. I had my very own personal guide 'Big Ahmed' and driver who were very welcoming and went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and comfortable in their presence. Ahmed is extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to provide me with a comprehensive insight into all things great and the history of Egypt. Highly recommend this excursion!

A well worthwhile trip, a busy packed in lots to see once in Cairo. Our English speaking tour guide Fahme was excellent and very accommodating. The bus trip to Cairo was a bit disjointed with alot of waiting around, without a lot of updates. Overall a very good experience and would recommend doing.

The trip by bus was very long but we expected that, the bus had air-conditioning and chairs reclined so couldn't complain too much. We had a small private tour with Fahme who was very knowledgeable and spoke good English, he made the tour great, took pics and showed us the sites and where to buy quality souvenirs without getting ripped off. I would highly recommend the trip with private tour guide although the journey by bus is very long expect to be gone at least 24 hours altogether.

Tutto organizzato benissimo, Guida preparata , nessun momento morto… Sicuramente è impegnativo perché ci vogliono molte ore in bus (che comunque è comodo), Ma ne vale davvero la pena!

The bus is comfortable. The guide Ahmed was par excellence! Not only is he passionate about subject he helped us negotiate some good shopping deals as well There are stops in between for comfort etc. We were six English speakers in a Russian Belarusian mix crowd but we received our own personalised guide once we reached Cairo!

Die Tour war von der Abholung bis zum Absetzen absolut fantastisch. Unser Reiseleiter Fahmed war fantastisch und er machte die Tour noch besser, indem er unserer Reise seine ganz persönliche Note verlieh. Er erklärt alle Orte, die wir besuchten, sehr ausführlich und hat viel Wissen über die Kultur. Einfach ein wirklich fantastischer Tag.

Mixed emotions about this trip and will write with total honesty. Starting with the night journey to Cairo on the convoy bus. The bus arrived at 1:30 am and emptied with the previous people who had been to Cairo the day before. We then borded straight after, which ment the toilet had not been emptied from the previous customers. It smelt awful and was unusable. We did stop at a service station but the toilets there were not really any better. I was travelling with children and an elderly parent and this was not good. The driver also chained smoked the whole way there while driving and the smell and smoke started to effect me. When we arrived in Cairo we we split into a small group of 11 people for the English tour. This was really good! Our guide was Femi and he looked after my elderly mother, providing places for her to sit and getting the shuttle bus to come to her so she did not have to walk far. Cairo is not really that accessible for disabled or elderly people so please bear this in mind. There are lots of steps and hills at the attractions. However, Femi tried his best and we really appreciated that. He was very good at taking photos and gave great information. He even provided pop and ice cream for the kids at no extra charge. He arranged for the horse and cart for my mom and the kids to have a camel the price was £20 which we thought was great. The night return journey was just as bad if not worse than going because we were tired and the toilet had still not been emptied. We arrived back at the hotel around 2:30 am. The day in Cairo was really good would recommend that to anyone but going by bus you need to be prepared for a really long drive 8-9 hours because of the check points and the convoy is police escorted and this takes time. However, I appreciated the security of the police being there and understood the reasons why we had to wait at times. If your on a budget, young and don't mind roughing it then you will be fine but you might be better flying.
