  2. Temple of Hatshepsut
    1 Stunde

  4. Valley of the Artisans (Deir el-Medina)
    1 Stunde

  5. Temple of Medinat Habu
    1 Stunde

  6. Colossi of Memnon
    10 Minuten

A great guide on the West Bank

Mina is a remarkable guide, he took us around the West bank of Luxor, with a private chauffeur, Ahmed. He is kind and knowledgable. We visited the Valley of the Kings, the Hatshepsut Temple, the Valley of the Queens, the Valley of the Workers and Hapu Temple, stone factory and a museum. In the factory they greeted us with a free drink and a falafel sandwich. Mina explained everything up front about the tombs, and he gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. In the end, he took us to a local restaurant with a great view of Hatshepsut temple.

Great tour on the West Bank

We booked the West Bank tour with the tickets and lunch included. Our guide was Mena, who was very attentive and knowledgeable. We very much enjoyed the whole program and would definitely recommend the tour, together with Mena and our driver, Ahmad.

Luxor Temples & Tombs

This guided tour in the presence of Hassan was wonderful! Despite the fact that I'm not super comfortable with the English language, I understood all the explanations! It was a memorable day!

The best first day in Luxor

Today was our first day in Luxor and Syed was so accommodating when we asked him to pick us up a bit later so we can eat breakfast first. He was very patient throughout the entire tour and was able to answer all of our questions. You can really tell he is passionate about the history of Egypt and his job. He would tell us the backstory on every site we would visit beforehand so when we went inside the tombs we truly appreciated the images we saw. He helped us remember facts by speaking concisely and taking pauses. Everywhere we went we got treated really well because he had a good relationship with the owners of the shops we toured and the tombs security as well. If you are at home planning who to pick as your tour guide, I hope you get the opportunity to have Syed as yours. We got really lucky and I’ll forever remember this tour in Luxor.
