Yesterday, we did a quad bike, buggy, and camel tour that we booked through TripAdvisor. We had an absolutely fantastic experience and enjoyed every minute of it.
The ride was great, although we would have loved to spend a bit more time on the quad bikes and buggies. But as they say, time flies when you're having fun!
The shows afterwards were very entertaining, and the BBQ dinner was fantastic.
Our tour guide, Bebo, made the whole experience truly unforgettable. We highly recommend booking this tour with him. He is patient, friendly, and incredibly helpful. He took great care of our group and made sure everyone was safe and having a great time throughout the tour.

Amazing Day Out
From start to finish it was spot on, slight delay on pickup due to our remote location however this didn’t affect us.
As soon as we arrived at @Camel Safari we were met by Bahaa, what a great bloke he was, nothing was too much trouble and we had a good laugh.
First off quad bikes and after we had been on a while they spilt us to fast and slow group, sadly one selfish guy and his kid asked for the fast group, then the kid wanted to go slow, Bahaa spotted my frustration and pulled me out for a quick blast which was appreciated. Next up was buggies and although only for a short time, it was still good to blast around the desert.
Then Jeep ride, with the best, craziest, fun driver ever, he made the day so much fun! Off road with a singing dancing driver 😎
The village was an eye opener seeing how people live and reminding us just how lucky we are, however they are happy and lead a enriched tribal life, our camel guide was great and he ensured my very nervous wife was ok and took some good photos for us.
Back to Camel Safari for dinner and dancing, food was good, with plenty for the rabbit munchers and I enjoyed some rice and BBQ beef. The three shows were amazing especially the fire guy.
What a great day we had and I highly recommend Viator to everyone I meet, we have had 4 great trips this holiday.
And Bahaa was amazing!

Excellent trip and will highly recommend
Our Hurghada VIP Desert Safari was without doubt one of the highlights of our holiday! From the moment we booked, the communication was outstanding. We received regular updates before our pick-up, and everything was organised perfectly. We were collected on time, making the whole experience completely stress-free.
The itinerary was fantastic and incredibly well planned. We had the opportunity to ride ATVs and dune buggies across the breathtaking desert, enjoy a memorable camel ride, and visit a traditional Bedouin village, where we learned about their fascinating culture, customs, and way of life. It was both educational and a unique cultural experience that added so much more to the trip.
A huge thank you goes to our guide, Sam, who was absolutely brilliant throughout the day. He spoke excellent English, explained everything clearly, and was friendly, approachable, and professional from start to finish. He made sure everyone stayed together, checked regularly that everyone was enjoying themselves, and ensured every guest was safely transported back to their hotel at the end of the evening. His organisation and enthusiasm made the entire experience even more enjoyable.
The BBQ dinner was delicious, with a fantastic variety of freshly prepared food and plenty to choose from. The quality exceeded our expectations, and compliments to the chef for such an excellent meal. The refreshments were also plentiful throughout the evening.
Watching the sunset over the desert was absolutely magical and created memories we'll never forget. To finish the day, we were treated to an incredible programme of live entertainment, including traditional performances that were energetic, colourful, and thoroughly entertaining. It was the perfect ending to an action-packed day.
This tour offers the perfect combination of adventure, culture, stunning scenery, great food, and first-class organisation. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hurghada. Thank you to Sam and the entire team for making our day so special—we'll definitely be recommending this to family and friends!

Sehr gut
Bahaa hat es sehr gut gemacht. Es hat unheimlich viel Spaß gemacht, er bringt so viel positive Stimmung hinein. Mit Kindern ist es überhaupt kein Problem auf dem Quad zu fahren, es wird Rücksicht genommen bei allen Fahrten. Ausreichend Wasser gibt es, man kann sich auch andere Getränke kaufen. Alles in allem war es wirklich sehr cool und hat unheimlich viel Spaß gemacht :)

Great value for money!
What a brilliant day! Family of 5 with teenagers and we all loved it. Pick up was smooth, the day was just fun and we felt very looked after. Really good value for money for what you get.

Leider keine VIP-Tour – lange Wartezeiten, Verkaufsveranstaltung und Sicherheitsmängel
Wir wurden zwar pünktlich vom Hotel abgeholt, allerdings war der Bus völlig überfüllt und sehr warm. Da an mehreren Hotels weitere Gäste eingesammelt wurden, dauerte die Anfahrt entsprechend lange.
Nach der Ankunft mussten wir zunächst sehr lange warten, bis das Programm überhaupt begann. Beim Buggyfahren sollten jeweils zwei Personen zusammen fahren. Da wir fünf Personen waren, musste ich mich einer anderen Familie anschließen und durfte letztlich nur als Beifahrerin mitfahren. Die angekündigte Buggyfahrt dauerte außerdem nicht einmal 15 Minuten. Mehr Zeit wurde für gestellte Fotos verwendet als für das eigentliche Fahren.
Danach folgten erneut lange Wartezeiten. Beim Quadfahren waren die Fahrzeuge beziehungsweise Teile davon so heiß, dass meine Tochter und ich Verbrennungen am Bein erlitten haben. Das ist für mich ein erheblicher Sicherheitsmangel und hätte nicht passieren dürfen.
Die Fahrt mit dem Jeep zum Beduinendorf war unterhaltsam. Vor Ort bestand das angekündigte Kamelreiten jedoch lediglich aus ungefähr fünf Minuten. Dafür muss man meiner Meinung nach nicht eine Stunde durch die Wüste fahren. Stattdessen wurde mehrfach versucht, uns verschiedene Produkte zu verkaufen. Bei der großen Hitze gab es dort außerdem keine angemessene Möglichkeit, kostenlos etwas zu trinken zu bekommen.
Nach der Rückfahrt folgten erneut lange Leerlauf- und Wartezeiten. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes. Auch danach stand wieder der Verkauf von Getränken, Fotos und weiteren Produkten im Vordergrund. Die Show kannten wir bereits in sehr ähnlicher Form aus unserem Hotel.
Insgesamt hatte die Tour für uns wenig mit einer „VIP-Safari“ zu tun. Es gab zu viele Wartezeiten, zu kurze Aktivitäten und viel zu viele Verkaufsversuche. Besonders enttäuschend waren die ausgefallene beziehungsweise nicht vollständig nutzbare Buggyfahrt und die Verbrennungen beim Quadfahren.
Aufgrund der Sicherheitsmängel, der nicht wie erwartet erbrachten Leistungen und des starken Verkaufscharakters werde ich beim Veranstalter eine Rückerstattung beantragen. Für Familien mit Kindern kann ich diese Tour leider nicht empfehlen.
