Enttäuschende Erfahrung mit dem Guide – nicht zu empfehlen
Wir haben einen privaten Ausflug von Safaga nach Luxor über Viator gebucht. Der Fahrer auf dem Hinweg war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend – dafür ein großes Lob. Leider hat unser Tages-Guide Mohamed die gesamte Erfahrung getrübt. Er präsentierte sich zuerst als fürsorglich und familiär, entpuppte sich jedoch als manipulativ. Unter dem Vorwand, uns vor Abzocke zu schützen, brachte er uns gezielt zu überteuerten Touristenläden (z. B. Schmuckanfertigung), wo wir stark unter Druck gesetzt wurden, etwas zu kaufen. Sein Verhalten war bevormundend, wenig respektvoll und oftmals sogar leicht aggressiv, wenn wir z. B. kurz unsere Aufmerksamkeit nicht auf ihn richteten oder uns unterhielten.
Im Tal der Könige waren wir bei 40 Grad völlig überfordert von der Informationsflut. Mohamed hat uns nicht aktiv gefragt, ob wir das Grab von Tutanchamun besuchen möchten, obwohl er es nur einmal ganz am Anfang kurz erwähnte. Erst am Ende des Tages, als wir danach fragten, behauptete er, wir hätten das abgelehnt – was nicht der Wahrheit entsprach. Es ist die Aufgabe eines guten Guides, hier klar zu informieren und ggf. nochmal nachzufragen.
Der zweite Fahrer in Luxor war wortkarg, unprofessionell und hat sich nicht einmal vorgestellt. Insgesamt leider eine sehr unangenehme und enttäuschende Erfahrung. Ich empfehle, bei diesem Anbieter dringend nach einem anderen Guide als Mohamed zu fragen – oder eine ganz andere Tour zu wählen.

Amazing Luxor day tour
Great day trip to Luxor from Hurghada. Excellent guide both in knowledge and expertise and safety. Mr Ahmed Elaziz was outstanding. Took us back to Hurghada and shared lots of photos he had taken during the day. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟guide and tour!

Fantastischer Tag, um Luxor mit Abdul und Ahmed zu erkunden!
Wir hatten einen fantastischen Tag, um die unglaublichen Sehenswürdigkeiten von Luxor zu erkunden. Unser Reiseleiter Abdul war absolut brillant – so sachkundig, mitreißend und leidenschaftlich über die ägyptische Geschichte, die jeden Halt faszinierend machte. Unser Fahrer, Ahmed, war ebenso wunderbar — zuvorkommend, geduldig und sorgte dafür, dass wir den ganzen Tag über komfortabel unterwegs waren.
Angesichts der Hitze schätzten wir wirklich die regelmäßige Versorgung mit kalten Getränken, und das leckere Mittagessen war ein echter Genuss. Eines der Highlights war die Bootsfahrt über den Nil, die atemberaubende Ausblicke und eine erfrischende Brise bot. Das absolute Highlight für uns war jedoch die Tour durch den Tempel von Karnak – wirklich beeindruckend – inspirierend und lebendig gemacht durch Abduls Geschichtenerzählen.
Insgesamt eine fantastische, gut organisierte Reise mit einem brillanten Team. Sehr empfehlenswert!

A Grand Day Out!
Fantastic day exploring Luxor with Abdul and Ahmed!
We had a fantastic day exploring the incredible sights of Luxor. Our tour guide, Abdul, was absolutely brilliant—so knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Egyptian history, which made every stop fascinating. Our driver, Ahmed, was equally wonderful—courteous, patient, and made sure we travelled in comfort throughout the day.
Given the heat, we really appreciated the regular supply of cold drinks, and the delicious lunch provided was a real treat. One of the highlights was the boat ride across the Nile, offering stunning views and a refreshing breeze. However, the absolute standout for us was the tour of the Temple of Karnak—truly awe-inspiring and brought to life by Abdul’s storytelling.
Overall, a fantastic, well-organised trip with a brilliant team. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour, service and guide
I booked this tour a few days in advance and had to change the date last minute as my partner had some tummy issues 😁 prompt communication and no issue changing the date, which was very much appreciated by us. On the day of the tour we got picked up just before 5 and had a smooth drive with comfort stops. Once in Luxor we met another driver who’d take us round for the day and we met our guide El Tayeb (LT), who was truly amazing to have around all day. He patiently told us what to look out for, the history and so much more. He took pictures of us and really guided us along which made for an unforgettable day. There is water or soft drinks on offer all day and the driver even stopped to get us ice cream. The car was comfortable, airconditioned and you can leave anything the car that you do not want to carry around all day.
Thank you for a long but worthwhile and unforgettable day. We would not have wanted to miss it.

Best tour ever
I'm a travel consultant and my clients did this tour with you today. Since they’re currently abroad in Egypt, they asked me to leave this review on their behalf. They gave it 5 stars! They were absolutely thrilled with the experience. The guide was amazing — did the whole tour in Portuguese, super kind and friendly. The driver was also very attentive. They loved everything! Fantastic Tour of Luxor.
It was a long day but an unforgettable experience. Our private driver was the smoothest I have ever had. Our guide for the day was Shrehan who was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the history behind each part of the tour and was patient with all our questions. I think having our own guide meant we gained a lot more from the experience. Our trip on the Nile was wonderful with the two young boys who took us getting us dancing and celebrating as we travelled along the river. We returned after a very long and tiring day with memories that will last us a lifetime.

Die Erfahrung war, wie im Paket beschrieben. Wir hatten 2 Fahrer, einen, um uns von und nach Luxor zu fahren und einen anderen, um uns in Luxor mit dem Guide zu fahren. Die Fahrt war sehr reibungslos und wir konnten bis und von Luxor schlafen. Samira war unser Guide während der Besuche der Stätten. Sie war sehr freundlich und kenntnisreich über die Geschichte hinter den Stätten. Wir würden sie auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
