Die erstaunlichste Erfahrung!
Meine Frau und ich machten den Heißluftballon, was erstaunlich war, , aber der hervorragendste Teil der Tour war die private Guide-Tour durch Luxor, die mit unserem Fahrer begann, Mahmoud wgo war ein ausgezeichneter, unermüdlicher Fahrer, da die Fahrt nach Luxor 4 1 / 2 Stunden & weitere 4 1 / 2 Stunden zurück nach Hurghada Post Tour war. Er war sehr freundlich, aber vor allem war er sehr zuvorkommend zu uns, die uns fühlte sich umsorgt und unser Reiseleiter Ahmed war sehr sachkundig und sprach, so fühlten wir uns wie in der Zeit zurück, wenn wir Fragen hatten, egal wie dumm, würde er in Begriffen erklären, so dass wir verstehen würden. Den Wert, den Ahmed auf die Geschichte seines geliebten Landes, Ägypten, legt, erleben Sie wie kein anderer, aber nur, wenn Ahmed Ihr Reiseleiter ist. Er behandelte uns als Familie und wir wollten nicht, dass der Tag endet. Es ist aber okay, denn er wird jetzt für immer in unserem Leben sein.

Fantastische Reise unter Königen und Königinnen
Unser brillanter Fahrer Ahmed Salah und unser ausgezeichneter Ägyptologe Professor Ahmed Elsisi nahmen mich und meine Mutter mit auf eine fantastische Tour durch das Tal der Könige und die weitere Luxor-Gegend
Wir wurden in einem komfortablen, klimatisierten Auto nach Luxor gebracht. Ahmed Salah hielt für Pausen an und besorgte uns Wasser und Snacks.
Sie beide gaben uns die Zeit, die wir brauchten, um wirklich diese historischen Gegenden zu erkunden und wir hatten eine wirklich gute Zeit mit den beiden.
Ich würde diese Reise jedem sehr empfehlen und stellen Sie sicher, nach diesem Fahrer und diesem Ägyptologen zu fragen.

We had a great time on our trip! The hot air balloon ride was beautiful and our guide Samira was incredibly knowledgeable. She gave us great insights into all of the places we visited and allowed us time to explore on our own at our own pace which was great. I highly recommend this trip and Samira!

Bester Tag meines Lebens
Ich bin ehrfurchtsvoll und mein Geist ist von dieser unglaublich perfekten Tour umgehauen! Ursprünglich hatte er ungefähr ähnliche Touren gekauft, die die Reisegesellschaft in letzter Minute absagte, also buchte Viator diese stattdessen bei Legacy Tours, was zu einem der besten Tage meines Lebens führte, in erster Linie wegen Mahmoud, dem besten Fahrer der Welt und DEM Professor Ahmed Elsisi, Reiseleiter professioneller Ägyptologe und so viel mehr. Es gibt absolut nichts, was Ahmed nicht über Ägypten von der Geburt des Landes bis zu seiner Gegenwart weiß. Er ist professionell, fachkundig, reichlich fürsorglich und freundlich zu seinen Touristen, hat einen äußerst reizvollen Sinn für Humor, sorgt dafür, dass seine Touristen seltene und unvergessliche Erlebnisse haben, und er kennt JEDEN, der ihn genau wie mich eindeutig anbetet. Er assistierte mir den ganzen Tag beim Treppensteigen und Treppenabsteigen und bei unebenem Gelände und bot alles, was ich jemals brauchen oder wollen konnte. Als mein Handy-Akku von all den Fotografien, die ich auf dieser Tour gemacht habe, erschöpft war, machte er sogar Fotos mit seinem Handy, um sie mir zu schicken. Er hat mich so beeindruckt, ich hoffe und glaube, dass wir jetzt für immer Freunde sein werden. Ich träumte immer davon, hoch oben am Himmel in einem Heißluftballon zu schweben und auf dem Nil zu booten, aber nie hätte ich erwartet, dass dieser Traum innerhalb von Stunden am selben Tag in Erfüllung gehen würde plus all die anderen schönen Sehenswürdigkeiten, die ich besucht habe, und Essen von einigen der köstlichsten Restaurants, aber Ahmed & Mahmoud haben es definitiv auf die bestmögliche Weise möglich gemacht. Ich erzählte Mahmoud, dass die englische Sprache so neu und restriktiv ist, dass ich nicht die richtigen Worte finden konnte, um meine allgemeine Erfahrung an diesem Tag zu beschreiben, aber es war herausragend. Ich werde es nie vergessen. Wenn Sie eine Reise nach Luxor planen oder einen Ort in Betracht ziehen, an den Sie gehen möchten, MÜSSEN Sie Luxor besuchen und diese Tour buchen, und wenn Sie dies nicht tun, verpassen Sie den besten Tag Ihres Lebens.

Best Day of My Life
I am awe=struck and my mind is blown by this incredibly perfect tour! Had originally purchased roughly similar tour, which the tour company canceled at the last minute, so Viator booked this one with Legacy Tours instead, which resulted in one of the very best days of my life first & foremost because of Mahmoud, the best ever driver on earth and THE Professor Ahmed Elsisi, tour guide professional Egyptologist and so much more. There is absolutely nothing Ahmed does not know about Egypt from the country's birth to its present. He is professional, expert, abundantly caring & kind to his tourists, has an extremely delightful sense of humor, ensures that his tourists have rare & unforgettable experiences, and he knows EVERYbody who clearly adore him just like me. He assisted me all day with climbing & descending stairs and with uneven terrain, providing everything I could ever need or want. When my phone battery died from all of the photographing I did on this tour, he even took pics with his phone to send to me. He made such an impression on me, I hope and believe we will now be friends forever. I always dreamt of floating high in the sky in a hot air balloon and boating on the Nile, but never did I expect that dream would come to fruition within hours on the same day plus all of the other beautiful sites I went to see and food from some of the most delicious restaurants, but Ahmed & Mahmoud definitely made it happen in the best way possible. I told Mahmoud that the English language is so new & restrictive that I could not find the right words to describe my overall experince on this day, but it was outstanding. I will never forget it or them. If you are planning a trip to Luxor or considering a place to go, you MUST visit Luxor and book this tour, and if you do not, you will miss out on the best day of your life.

Our trip with legacy tours was amazing from start to finish. Everything was well organised and we had an unforgettable experience. Our tour guide Mohammed gave great detail into the tour sites and we felt well cared for he couldn’t have done a better job. We would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting hurghada.

Best experience!
From pick up at 5am in an air conditioned private car to being dropped off at 4:30pm the following day, we were looked after and felt very safe by both the driver, Muhmet and the guide, Professor Ahmed Elsisi. They made the whole experience fun, enjoyable, stress free and seemless, with their friendly manner and positive attitudes. We didn’t have to worry about anything, everything was taken care of. We felt very lucky and knew we had picked the right company to go with from the get go.
Along the way Professor Ahmed took so many photos of us all. He is a man of many talents and it was nice to not worry too much about taking too many pictures, so we could just enjoy the experience. Liz said ‘great photographer!’ 🤣😊
Muhmet is an excellent driver. He went very slow over bumps, which you will be very grateful for once you are in Egypt. There are so many bumps! He also was very nice and provided rest stops and refreshments whenever he could.
We felt they both went above and beyond to make us feel safe, welcome and happy. Thank you Muhmet & Professor Ahmed for looking after us all so well!
The food provided throughout the experience was fresh and delicious. The restaurants we went too were full of nice, decent, hard working people. We will miss the rice bread and hummus the most!
Alcohol didn’t seem to be an option while in Luxor, some places provide non alcoholic beer which is nice but if anything, it just helps to not be hungover while trying to enjoy the excursions.
After arriving in Luzor from hugarda, we met our guide Ahmed and went straight to Karnac Temple. It was very hot but Ahmed made sure to stop in the shade as much as possible while giving us the guided tour. He was extremely informative and his English was impeccable. We were also given some free time to explore the grand temples for ourselves. Nothing can prepare you for seeing all of the statues and hieroglyphics up close and personal!
Next we went to lunch but first an informative stop at a perfumery. It was air conditioned and provided a much needed rest from walking around in the heat.
After lunch we were taken to Luxor Temple. We were given the option to do this later in the day as the sun was high in the sky by this point but we continued with our itinerary. It was another brilliant tour of beautiful statues and buildings seeped in history.
Then it was time to check into our hotel. It was clean and perfect for an overnight stay. We didn’t have a balcony but the beds were comfortable and the shower was cool! The view from the back of the hotel, towards the pool is amazing as you are sat next to the river Nile!
Speaking of the Nile, we were expecting the feluccia boat ride to be the following day, so when our guide surprised us with it before our evening meal, we were blew away. Especially as it meant we were floating peacefully on the river Nile, as small birds fluttered around, watching the sunset. One of my favourite experiences that I will never forget.
After dinner, an early night was followed by an early get up. We were picked up by a different company to make our way to the hot air balloon ride. We were delayed as there were talks that it might not go ahead. We arrived at the site to watch the sun rise. Everyone around us organising the event as best they could while still unsure if it was safe to fly. Unfortunately they deemed it necessary to cancel, it was a shame but the day was not over as we had plenty more activities to come.
We were looked after and taken to a cafe where we had coffee and waited for our Ahmed to come collect us.
It was nice to be reunited with our lovely guide and driver. We were taken to the tomb of the kings. We visited 3 tombs as provided and was given the option to see more for an additional price. If the weather was cooler we may have opted for this but 3 of 61 were plenty in 35+ degree heat. It was spectacular. Professor Ahmed was once again showing off his amazing knowledge as an Egyptologist. He also seems to know everyone and is well liked and respected by all! It was really nice to see and helped towards our feelings of ease around him.
Alabaster was our next stop, the ancient town where generations of Egyptian artists have lived. We were shown the proper ways of how certain things are made including the ancient techniques used by the artists that helped decorate the temples and tombs. We were even given the opportunity to get involved. Once again the Egyptian hospitality shone through!
Our last excursion was the temple of hatshetshup. We were given the option of a different one but we thought it would be a nice change of pace to see the temple of a female pharaoh. We were not disappointed! The views from the top, over Luxor, were spectacular and the temple itself was another breathtaking piece of artwork with interesting anecdotes attached.
It really was an incredible adventure. We would recommend it to everyone. I will be looking to rebook in the future with the same people and maybe do some more temples along the way.

I soldi miglior spesi in Egitto
Abbiamo appena vissuto una delle esperienze più belle di tutto il nostro viaggio in Egitto!
Siamo partiti da Hurghada la sera prima, con un taxi privato comodissimo, aria condizionata e bevande sempre disponibili: un servizio impeccabile che ci ha permesso di arrivare a Luxor riposati e senza pensieri. L’autista è rimasto con noi tutto il giorno, accompagnandoci in ogni spostamento fino al rientro.
La nostra guida Marvet, che parlava italiano, è stata molto disponibile e preparata. Ogni tanto si confondeva con qualche parola (tipo “Renno” invece di “Regno”), ma niente che compromettesse la comprensione: anzi, lo ha reso persino simpatico e autentico.
Il tour è stato organizzato alla perfezione:
• colazione all’alba seguita dal volo in mongolfiera, davvero magico, con in più un book fotografico solo per noi incluso, che ci ha lasciato ricordi spettacolari;
• visita alla Valle dei Re e al magnifico Tempio di Hatshepsut;
• pranzo gustoso;
• piacevole giro in barca sul Nilo;
• e per finire, lo straordinario Tempio di Karnak, una meraviglia che toglie il fiato.
Tutti i biglietti d’ingresso erano già compresi e l’organizzazione è stata impeccabile in ogni dettaglio. Non abbiamo dovuto preoccuparci di nulla, se non di goderci ogni momento.
Consiglio vivamente questo tour a chiunque voglia vivere Luxor in modo completo, comodo e affascinante. Un’esperienza che porteremo nel cuore per sempre!
