We had an unforgettable experience on our tour from Hurghada to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings! The trip was perfectly organized, and what truly made it exceptional was our guide, Leila.
Her incredible knowledge of ancient Egyptian history brought every site to life, from the majestic Karnak Temple to the awe-inspiring tombs in the Valley of the Kings. She explained everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, making the tour both educational and enjoyable. Leila's professionalism and warm personality ensured everyone felt comfortable and taken care of throughout the day.
This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime journey, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Egypt!

Luxor nel cuore
Gita di un giorno a Luxor in van da Marsa Alam.
Escursione a Luxor imperdibile e organizzazione Book Tour Egypt impeccabile.
Alla cifra di 70€ a persona, esattamente la metà dei 140€ a testa proposti dal villaggio, abbiamo vissuto un’esperienza indimenticabile.
All’orario stabilito ci attendeva un auto all’uscita del resort. Il driver ci ha accompagnati a Safaga (dopo 2h di tragitto) dove ci siamo uniti ad un altro gruppo di turisti. In van siamo poi arrivati a Luxor dopo circa 4h.
Abbiamo viaggiato in sicurezza e siamo stati seguiti dal momento dell’uscita dal resort a quello in cui siamo stati riaccompagnati.
La nostra guida autoctona, che parlava perfettamente l’italiano, Ahmed, è stata una vera scoperta. Simpatico, intelligente, spiritoso, una persona veramente in gamba che ha reso questa giornata indimenticabile.
Le tappe della visita sono state quelle canoniche previste a Luxor (Tempio di Karnak, Valle dei re
(3 Reali Tombe), i colossi di Memnon e il Tempio di
Hatdshepsut).

Una giornata indimenticabile
Viaggio di un giorno a Luxor da Marsa Alam .
Organizzato in modo splendido . Sono passati a prenderci al mattino prestissimo e ci hanno portato a Luxor dove abbiamo trovato la guida che ci ha accompagnato per tutta la giornata . Abbiamo visitato il tempio di karnak , poi abbiamo attraversato il Nilo con una barca. Abbiamo pranzato E siamo andati a visitare la valle dei Re , le tombe dei faraoni , il tempio di Hatshepsut e i colossi di Memnone . Tutto meraviglioso

Wir möchten uns ganz herzlich für den reibungslosen Ablauf bedanken. Vor fast einem Monat haben wir über diese Website zwei Reisen gebucht, einen Tag von Hurghada nach Luxor, den anderen nach Kairo. Es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Die Guides waren phänomenal und haben sich wirklich bemüht, uns alles zu erklären. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Reiseführerin Amel, sie hat uns ganz viel Wissen vermittelt und war immer für uns da. Vielen Dank an die Agentur, sie hat es geschafft, alle unsere Erwartungen und noch mehr zu erfüllen. Wir würden immer wieder über diese Seite buchen und können sie nur weiterempfehlen

Excellent Day Trip to Luxor - Well Organised and Great Guide
We had an amazing day trip to Luxor with Book Tour Egypt, booked through TripAdvisor. It was incredible value for money.
The day started with a 5am pickup from our hotel (small extra fee for hotel pickup, which is normal in Egypt). The mini-van was comfortable, and our two drivers were friendly and professional. They made two toilet stops during the journey, and we could safely leave our bags in the van throughout the day.
Our group split into English and French speaking (4 people each). Our English guide, Salaam, was exceptional - knowledgeable, theatrical, and brought the ancient sites to life with his storytelling. He even taught me some Arabic phrases! When one guest had trouble with a persistent vendor, Salaam handled it professionally.
Sites visited:
- Karnak Temple: Incredible but busy. Still got great photos
- Valley of the Kings: Amazing experience. Visited 3 tombs (skipped Tutankhamun's tomb and didn't feel we missed out)
- Temple of Hatshepsut: Restored but interesting
- Nile boat trip (card payment accepted)
The included lunch was a good buffet with plenty of choices (drinks extra). We also stopped at a pottery/souvenir shop but felt no pressure to buy anything.
The pace was quick (about an hour per site) and sometimes felt rushed, but understandable given how much there is to see.
Tips for future travelers:
- Get a good night's sleep before - if you struggle sleeping on buses, bring a travel neck pillow
- Bring plenty of sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) - Luxor is especially hot!
- Plenty of toilet opportunities throughout the day
- Water provided
- No passport was needed. Take it with you in case but don’t worry too much if you forget. Take a picture on your phone just in case.
- Can leave bags safely in van
- Tip your drivers and tour guides well if you are happy with the service as is the custom in Egypt
Return time was 8:45pm - a long but incredibly worthwhile day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Egypt!

Alors j’ai regrettais de ne pas avoir pris toutes mes excursions avec eux car ils sont top. Une agence professionnelle et bienveillante qui ne tiens compte que du bien être de son client, à l’écoute et surtout joignable à tout moment, merci aux équipes qui se trouvaient derrière le téléphone sur watsap et merci aux équipes qui ont été misent à notre disposition durant la journée à Louxor. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermer

Brilliant excursion
The whole trip was amazing and we got to see loads of good sights, the drivers and our guide laila were brilliant throughout and were great with my disabled mother who was in a wheel chair and they made everything accessible.
