Tolle Einführung in Ägypten
Durchweg lustige Erfahrung. Die Guides waren sachkundig und lieferten viele interessante Fakten und Geschichten, um die erstaunlichen historischen Stätten, die wir besuchten, zu kolorieren. Die Reisekoordination war wunderbar. Nicht alles verlief reibungslos, aber die Unternehmensvertreter unternahmen angemessene Anstrengungen, um alle aufgetretenen Probleme zu lösen. Wir werden die Erinnerungen an dieses Abenteuer in Ehren halten.

A memorable visit
We were 3 sisters visiting Egypt for the first time and what a fabulous experience it has been, thanks to Egypt Day Tours!
Pros:
1. Excellent response time to all queries and requests.
2. Comprehensive understanding of international cultures and their requirements.
3. Polite, well-spoken, entertaining, enthusiastic and helpful team of guides, chaperones and drivers.
4. Point to point accompanying from airport pick-up to drop (seriously, we were made to feel like absolute QUEENS!)
5. Flexible options to suit individual interests and requirements.
6. Excellent knowledge of the country, sites, history and civilisation.
7. Entertaining guides who spin quite a yarn and explain the significance of the monuments visited.
8. Clean and luxurious car for transport within the country (ask for Nabil to drive you around Cairo, he is a very safe driver and is very capable at manoeuvring around tricky roads.
9. Very reasonable pricing for everything.
10. A company that takes a personal interest in ensuring you've an experience of a lifetime!
One tip especially for Asian travellers : tipping is a big part of the tourism industry here, so make sure you account for it in your planning.

Memorable Vacation!
This tour has been an amazing experience for my family and I! Egypt Day Tours has provided everything we asked for and then some. A special thanks to our tour guide Hany for making this a remarkable experience. Hany has been the best tour guide we could have ever asked for, would definitely recommend his name to anyone looking for a amazing trip in Egypt!

Egypt Day Tours Rocks!!
From the moment my friends and I reached to Cairo we experienced a 5 star treatment from Egypt Day Tours! Disclaimer - my apologies if I misspell any names -
Osama, greeted us at the airport with a great smile and made us feel at home right away!! He had our visas ready (they cost $25 US) and accompanied us as we went through immigration. We were then handed off to Mustafa! What a nice guy he is!! He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable! I have no words to describe the immediate connection we felt with him! It was like if we already knew him from years ago! He took us to the hotel, Le Meridien (right across from the Pyramids of Giza - great location/ very nice hotel), he checked us in while we sat in the lobby taking it all in and in disbelief that we finally after all the planning had made it to Egypt! We then discussed to do an optional tour to the Khan Al Khalili market the next day (we purposely booked our tour to start a day later in case we had flight delays or were simply too tired from the long trip) and Mustafa arranged and went with us the next day! The market is a must do experience! Just remember that you must negotiate the price for EVERYTHING! NEVER pay the first price you get! Negotiate with the vendor until you feel what you paying is a fair price. I don’t think there is a way to ever know if what you paid is the right price so I go with what I feel comfortable paying for the item. If you don’t think is worth, just politely say Shukraan and go to the next vendor! You will have lots of fun and find great souvenirs at the market, specially if you go with our friend Mustafa!!
That evening we went to the Giza light show at the pyramids with Mustafa - Nice show - and got to visit a local Jewlery shop to buy our Cartouches. The next day was the first day of our tour - we were greeted by Mahmood. (It took us a little while to connect with him because although we were all on time, he didn’t have a sign with our names and that created a little confusion for us) He took us to the Pyramids of Giza and the Cairo Museum. If you are the type of people who enjoys history being narrated to you as if you were part of Broadway play, hearing the characters come alive as you see the pieces of art and relics in front of you, then Mahmood is definitely the guide for you! He also gave us the red carpet treatment! The driver of our minivan that day was great too! He kept cleaning our van so it was impeccably clean every time we came back to it! There are no words for the joy we felt as we not only got to see the pyramids but to go inside of them and climb up to the top. (Not recomendable for claustrophobic people).
Our next few days were spent on the Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, Egypt Day Tours set up our flights, Osama took us to the airport in Cairo and our new guide Mohammed (our lovely Super Mo as he prefers to be called, LOL! ) took care of us from there! We visited many temples, from Luxor to Abu Simbel, the valley of Kings, etc... the river cruise was nice! Nothing like the big ocean cruise ships but nice, clean and comfortable enough! The food was good and the staff was very friendly! Super Mo was so knowledgeable and definitely our style of guide! He shared lots of information, allowed us to ask questions and gave us time to take pictures anywhere where was allowed (after all, our memories from those pictures is what we get to keep after the trip, right?). Those 5 days with Super Mo were amazing! I feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to see with my own eyes things from almos 7000 years ago from the beginning of what we know from civilization! What an honor!!
Our journey ended in Aswan and we had to sadly say goodbye to another friend, our wonderful Super Mo! We flew back to Cairo, to then the next day drive to Alexandria, there we spend the day with Jean, another fine Young man who was a delight to spend time with! Our only regret is not to have spend more than just a day in Alexandria!
From the moment, my friend (she was the spokesperson for her husband and me) started planning our trip, the communication with Ahmed Attarious - always responding to all of her questions; and there were many that we all had! - was excellent! He even took a few minutes at our request to meet with us in Alexandria!
I will be forever thankful and grateful to Egypt Day Tours for organizing and providing such an amazing experience for us! We felt completely safe at all times and they genuinely wanted us to have a great experience!! I recommend Egypt Day Tours 100%.

Wunderbares Erlebnis!
Wir hatten eine wundervolle Erfahrung mit Egypt Day Tours. Ahmed Attarious beantwortete so schnell alle meine Fragen und ging auf alles ein, was ich beim Erstellen und Ändern der Reiseroute verlangte. Osama holte uns am Flughafen mit unseren Visa und SIM-Karten ab. Er brachte uns schnell durch den Flughafen, brachte uns zum Geldwechselschalter und machte uns auf den Weg zum Le Meridian Pyramids Hotel. Wir wurden zunächst in ein Raucherzimmer gebracht. Wenn Sie wie ich ein Nichtraucherzimmer benötigen, fragen Sie unbedingt nach einem Nichtraucherzimmer im Nichtraucherhaus. Mustafa traf uns im Hotel und half uns sehr während unserer Zeit in Kairo. Wir haben seine Gesellschaft genossen!
Ich war hocherfreut, Ägyptologen zu haben, die uns durch das alte Ägypten führen. Super Mo war unser Führer während der Nilkreuzfahrt und Jean für Alexandria. Wir bedanken uns für ihre außergewöhnliche Kenntnis des alten Ägypten und für ihre Geduld bei all unseren Fragen. Sie verfügten nicht nur über eine Fülle von Kenntnissen, sondern machten auch viel Spaß beim Sightseeing. Alle Fahrer waren nett und höflich und hielten ihre Fahrzeuge sauber. Unser Flussschiff, M / S Royal Princess, war nett.
Mit Egypt Day Tours war es so einfach, sicher und unterhaltsam, die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu sehen und innerhalb Ägyptens zu reisen! In Alexandria war Ahmed sehr bemüht, uns persönlich zu treffen, um Hallo zu sagen. Ich kann Egypt Day Tours nur empfehlen!

Eine verdammt gute Reise!
Ich werde dies mit 5 Sternen bewerten, obwohl es ein paar Dinge gab, die ein bisschen anders waren. Ahmed ist unglaublich! Immer sehr reaktionsschnell und hilfsbereit vor meiner Reise und während der Reise. Unser Führer auf der viertägigen Nilkreuzfahrt mit all den Zwischenstopps war Jorge und er war sehr informativ und professionell, und mein Sohn und ich vertrauten ihm sehr. An unserem ersten Tag in Kairo waren wir mit Mina Wasfy auf Tour, die einige fantastische Fotos von meinem Sohn und mir zusammen bei den Pyramiden gemacht hat.
Nun einige der Dinge, die ein bisschen "aus" waren, als wir vom Flughafen abgeholt wurden, stellte der Herr, der uns abgeholt hatte, die Visa zur Verfügung und ich zahlte ihm zurück. Ich fand es später heraus, als ich einen anderen amerikanischen Reisenden fragte, wie hoch ihr Visum sei. Mir wurde klar, dass mir 20 Dollar extra berechnet wurden. Als ich Ahmed befragte, teilte er mir mit, dass eine Servicegebühr von 10 USD pro Person fällig sei, damit sie dies für mich tun. Ich war von vornherein nicht darüber informiert, und ich hatte das Gefühl, dass ich hätte entscheiden sollen, ob ich sie mir selbst besorgen wollte oder nicht. Ahmed sorgte dafür, dass mir die 20 Dollar erstattet wurden, was ich sehr schätzte. Die zweite Ausgabe, die wir hatten, war bei unserer Rückkehr von Luxor nach Kairo. Als wir am Flughafen ankamen, war niemand da, der uns abholte. Ich rief Ahmed an und er sagte, unser Fahrer sei auf dem Weg, aber ungefähr 25 Minuten lang warteten wir am Flughafen auf ihn und waren ziemlich nervös. Wir wurden schließlich Mitte 20 von einem jungen Mann und dem Fahrer abgeholt (ich entschuldige mich, da ich mich nicht an seinen Namen erinnere). Er fuhr uns zum Hotel zurück und als wir ankamen, fragte er mich, ob ich mit ihm Marihuana rauchen wolle. Zu sagen, dass ich schockiert war, war eine Untertreibung, da ich eine 51-jährige Frau bin, die mit meinem 17-jährigen Sohn reist, und kein 25-jähriges Mädchen, das mit ein paar Freunden reist. Ich hielt es für sehr unangemessen, mich zu fragen, und natürlich sagte ich ihm "nein" und meldete Ahmed den Austausch.
Also - abgesehen von diesen wenigen kurzen Gesprächen war die Reise unglaublich und eine, die wir nie vergessen werden. Weil die großartigen Teile der Reise so außergewöhnlich waren, werde ich sie mit 5 Sternen bewerten und einige fragwürdige Dinge vergessen, die passiert sind.

This company doesn't have their own tour guides and just resale you to freelance tour guides and cruise. The freelance tour guide was fake, and more interested in ripping us off than showing us a good time & earn his tip.
Pro:
- Booking was easy.
- As for all private tour, they take care of all the logistic.
- They greet you at the airport.
Con:
- We were told the sim card have 10 GB of data, it stopped after 2GB and doesn't work until we recharged it ourselves.
- The 5-star nile cruise is a fake 5-star (guess all of them are 5-star). Old boat, and really bad food.
- Tour guides don't allow enough time at the tourist attractions, and constantly nagging for tips. They weren't interested in showing us the attraction, and more interested in taking you to "papyrus museum" and "alabaster factory" (don't go, these are tourist traps). It felt like my private tour guide was sizing us up the whole time, to see how much money he can get out from us. Our Luxor - Aswan tour guide was pushing hard for us to do the extra Nubian village tour, even though we have already paid for the Abu Simben tour, and he know fully well we won't be able to cover both Abu Simben, Aswan, and Nibian village all in one day.
- While on the tour, our tour guide demand a 5-star tripadvisor review, and "take a screen shoot and send to me". Sorry, I won't lie.

Booking was easy - looking forward to our trip
So far so good, booking was easy! Maro did an excellent job explaining the options and has been very responsive. We are all booked and looking forward to the trip. Friends recommended this tour company and we would recommend them as well.

Wunderbare Führer
Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit auf unserer Reise nach Ägypten dank unserer Guides: Khaled in Kairo und Magdy auf der Nilkreuzfahrt. Beide waren sehr gute, freundliche und sachkundige Führer, die sich für die Geschichte begeisterten. Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit mit ihnen verbracht.
Die Unterkunft in Kairo war perfekt: Le Meridien Pyramid. Das Kreuzfahrtschiff (Radamis I) war etwas veraltet, aber die Angestellten taten ihr Bestes, um dies auszugleichen, sie waren sehr aufmerksam und das Essen war sehr gut.
Osama, der uns am Flughafen begrüßte, war sehr effizient. Er half uns beim Visum und auch beim Transfer nach Luxor.
Die Fahrer waren alle sehr gut (Verkehr in Kairo ist verrückt) und pünktlich.
