Great Tour Company in Egypt. Highly recommended!
This tour group made our trip to Egypt safe and easy. Our guide in Cairo, Mohammad, was excellent. He provided detailed explanations of the sights, helpful information about restaurants and restrooms along the way and treated us like friends. The organization of the trip by Hany, was logical and made the transitions from each location smooth. We also enjoyed the details and humor of our guide, Ahmed, in Luxor and Aswan. We travel quite a lot and this will be one of our most remembered.

Great tour company and amazing guide Waleed!
We used Luxor and Aswan travel to book our Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor. They were very easy to deal with and you can contact them by email or WhatsApp. We added on a hot air balloon trip which they organised no problem. We even managed to change our start time last minute, which they changed no problem.
Our guide Waleed was great! He used to live in the UK and couldn't do enough for us. He was very knowledgeable and also very skilled in the tours we were doing as he suggested some alterations (eg doing our balloon ride on the same day as our tour of the west Bank of Luxor), and where to go when so we missed the busy crowds.
Honestly, I'd rate the cruise itself about 3.5 out of 5 stars, but that's not the fault of the company and I'd highly recommend using Luxor and Aswan travel, and especially Waleed as a guide for any English speaking tourists! Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing experience!
An absolutely amazing experience of a lifetime. Mohammad our tour guide did a fantastic job—his knowledge and experience was simply phenomenal. He studied Egyptology in school for four years and had an additional year of language study. His ability to explain the importance and significance of the sites and hieroglyphics was unparalleled. He did a great job and would highly recommend this tour group. When other groups had large numbers in crowded situations at locations, ours was personalized with just my friend and I and Mohammad. If you are a tourist and have traveled the world and are confident in your abilities to see things—Egypt is another world and you had best get a guide or you will seriously regret it. This is the company to get!

A magical week in Egypt
Our family includes 3 teenage boys so we were a little concerned they would not find the sightseeing in southern Egypt all that interesting. Au contraire! Our guide Simon did an excellent job making our visits to all of the sites & temples from Abu Simbel to Karnak super interesting and fun. Besides, he is a wonderful human being and we enjoyed every minute of our visit. Thank you to everyone who made it possible and took good care of us at every step, from Cairo (special mention to Waleed) to Hurghada. We couldn’t recommend the company more highly.

Very responsive and accommodating travel company with knowledgeable guides.
Can't say enough good things about Hany at Luxor and Aswan Travel. He was so responsive and accommodating. We were able to add on services on the fly. The guy must not sleep as we were communicating in our time zone in the US.
We did an ambitious itinerary flying to Aswan and then half day trip to Abu Simbel, then 4 day dahabiya cruise Aswan to Luxor. Shenouda Farid Habib was our guide and was excellent. He had a very calm demeanor and made iur trip our own. No pressure to rush, made sure thwre was time for us to explore on our own if we wanted to. He made us feel like this was our vacation not someone else's itinerary. Shenouda is also very knowledgeable and he went through the whole pantheon of gods and their genealogy, which i really appreciated. He explained the ceremonies so the temple and tomb artistry made sense. Shenouda become more of a friend than guide by the end of our trip. Glad to have had his company.
One thing that could have been better was the lack of AC during the day on the cruise. We would come back from the temples and just wanted a break from the heat, but the AC only ran for a few hours at night, so we hoped for a breeze on the top deck as the only respite. The website should state this as we thought we had AC on demand for this cruise. Understanding that fuel costs are high, we still paid a high price per night so AC should have been there. Also, the food was ok but not great. These boats are not owned by Luxor and Aswan Travel so best to know these details in advance of booking.
Hany arranged for a full day of pyramids and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Mohamed Reda was our guide and dis a good job of finding the right vistas for excellent photos. He was aware we wanted to be back at the hotel at a certain time and was able to rearrange the itinerary to accomplish that. We did end up at 2 shops that were not on the itinerary. The cotton shop was not worth it as they sold knock-off items despite being a government store. The other was a jewwlry shop for a cartouche necklace of high quality. This one was interesting because we learned something. Next time I'd probably focus on the tour elements and only shop if something unique and educational. But otherwise Mohamed did a very good job showing us the highlights of the museum.
Hany even set us up with return transport to the airport as we had been in a very nice air conditioned van for the Cairo tour. We got the same driver and they evwn sent an English speaking guide to make sure we got to the right place.
Overall I would recommend Luxor and Aswan Travel to my friends for responsiveness, flexibility, and quality.

Simply the best
During our recent trip to Egypt in June 22, we made use of Luxor and Aswan Travel. From day one after contacting Hany, all travel and booking arrangements were taken care of and managed with extreme professionalism. I have 16 years of experience travelling and doing business in the Middle East and Africa and was pleasantly surprised by their professionalism and proficiency. All extra requests were dealt with immediately and our needs were always accommodated. All staff were always professional and accommodating. We were provided with a highly professional, knowledgeable and competent guide, Omar Khalifa, during our cruise from Aswan that made every part of the tour interesting and pleasant. Our cruise was booked on the Sonesta St George and we were treated like royalty during the cruise. We did the light and sound show at Giza. During our stay in Cairo we had the privilege to be escorted by Zeineb, an Egyptologist and Archeologist who has a passion for her country and Egyptian history. She made an extra effort to take us to all the interesting areas in Cairo and insisted that we must see Sakkara which turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Zeineb accompanied us to the local markets and negotiated prices on our behalf, making our holiday purchases a breeze. I highly recommend Hany and Aswan Luxor travel for anyone that really wants to experience Egypt, its people and history, at an affordable price. All the recommended hotels that we stayed in, and the boat cruise were absolutely excellent and well chosen. We are extremely satisfied with all the services provided and we will be a returning customer to Aswan and Luxor travel. Hany and his staff are all stars and can be proud of what they are and the services they provide. Thank you.

Wonderful cruise at the Nile
Wonderful cruise from Aswan to Luxor. As a traveler you should not worry about logistics, transportation, language, food. Our tour guide Omar was there all the time for us making our experience unforgettable. Our experience started in Aswan. During our first day, Omar took us to Abu Simbel temple. Long drive but the experience is worth it. Then we went to the Obelisk and dam in Aswan. We booked the cruise "Historia". The crew was wonderful and they work closely with Omar to ensure the tour logistics were seamless. During the afternoon we visiter Philae Temple, one of my favorites. The second day followed with Kom Ombo and Edfu temples with plenty of time to relax at the cruise. The third and fourth days were busy in Luxor. Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut temple are a most see. We ended our last day with Luxor and Karnak temples. The food at the cruise was incredible, a combination of buffet and "a la carte" menus along with violin music during the evenings. I fully recommend "Luxor and Aswan" travel for your travel experience in Egypt.

Booking a cruise and tours from the distance can be challenging as you have no choice but to trust the internet which at times can be scary (at least that's how I personally feel). That said, after doing our due diligence in researching, sending emails and asking lord of questions we did selected this company. The experience was everything we expected and more. We received communication before, during and even follow up after we were done. The cruise was amazing (Historia and their crew made our trip so much enjoyable) and the tours leaded by Omar where pretty amazing. Clearly they all take pride on what they do and they do aim to serve and make your traveling experience above & beyond.

Amazing river cruise and tours !!!
We had the most amazing cruise and tours! It was so easy to book it all and Hany got back to me really quickly with any questions I had before we came.
When the tour and cruise were to start I was met at our hotel by our amazing guide Ahmed and we started our tour.
Ahmed told the history and the stories in an engaging way that was not boring and really made you want to know more ! We went to many sites and we loved them all!
Every night Ahmed would write out the next day schedule - including the times for meals on the ship - he missed nothing!
The ship was gorgeous and the food was great as well.
All in all I cannot recommend Luxor and Aswan travel enough - they made our vacation a dream come true ❤️

The best time in Upper Egypt
We had an amazing time on the cruise with our tour guide Hassan! Everything was super smooth. Starting with the booking of the cruise to the transportation to the airport. When we booked the cruise, we weren't aware we would have a private tour guide just for our needs. Hassan met us at the settled time in Aswan and we immediately started the tour around the city and to the Philae Temple. All the tickets and transfers were included and pre-organised. It was really nice to have the car or boat ready for you in the heat (including cold water). In the evening, Has took us to the Aswan market, which is by the way a great local experience with really nice products (especially spices) and lack of the pressure you might experience in Cairo. We even took the local bus back to the cruise which was super nice. Throughout the cruise, Has was available for us and he taught us how to write and understand hieroglyphs. During the temple visits, he focused on the writing and pictures on the walls, always giving us the context and story behind the temple. He was super flexible and always gave us space to explore the temple on our own when we wanted to. He even organised a small surprise for us on the cruise. We were on the cruise Historia which is really modern with great design and divine food. Overall, I could recommend the travel agency as well as Hassan as a tour-guide 11 out of 10.
PS: We also highly recommend the hot-air balloon trip in Luxor. Watching the sunrise over the Valley of the Kings is something you will remember for the rest of your life!
