We had a great few days with Waleed Mourad! He was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. We had a private tour and we could customize on the way and add things we wanted to see. He went above and beyond to make our trip amazing.

The tour guide Mahmoud H. was well versed and explained the stories and histories of all the sites. He was thoughtful and intentional and made me feel at home in Egypt. The Nile was peaceful and great scenery, food on the ship was good as well.

The Nile cruise on the M/S Medea was absolutely amazing. The boat was spectacular, spotlessly clean and really beautifully presented. All meals were buffet style and wow did we have a lot of choice. They even made me a cake for my birthday. The tours were fabulous. It was just me and my mother in our group with a private car and private guide. Abdou was our guide for the whole trip and he really made the cruise. He was so knowledgeable and personable and we couldn’t ask for anyone better to show us around egypt. All pre booking information was very clear and the tour manager Hany had brilliant communication. I highly recommend this trip!

Cannot recommend this trip enough. A worry we had was that we were packing to much into too little time; however, the balance between the excursions and down time on the boat was perfect. Our guide, Ismael, was truly fantastic. We could not imagine doing this sort of trip without a guide. It was a trip of a lifetime, yet practical and seemless to enjoy. *Pro Tip - We recommend spending the money on the higher end boat options. My girlfriend has a gluten allergy, and the boat staff provided great assistance and food options. Also the amenities were great and definitely worth the extra cost.

Luxor and Aswan Travel organized 3 tours in Egypt for me and a group of friends. Their Travel and Operation Manager Hany el Dosouki was very knowledgeable and communicative during booking and afterward, and the booking and payment process went very smoothly. Hany reconfirmed before each tour, and checked with us immediately afterward to see how it went. The tour guides and transportation he provided were first rate. For an all-day tour of Saqqara and Dahshur from Cairo, guide Mohammed Reda was pleasant and funny and knew everything about the pyramids at these sites, which predate the big ones at Giza. For our tour of Abu Simbel from Aswan, Ahmed Helmy told us all about the monument and the history around it in amazing depth. Ahmed joined us again for a 4 day/3 night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor aboard the Sabena al Jamila, arranged by Luxor and Aswan Travel. Ahmed stayed with us for the entire cruise. He showed us the temples at Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk near Aswan; the temples at Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Esna; and Luxor Temple, Karnak, and the Valley of Kings in Luxor. He also provided us an airport transfer on our last day in Luxor. Ahmed is friendly, interesting, and engaging, and he's a walking encyclopedia of ancient Egyptian history. I strongly recommend Luxor and Aswan Travel. And be sure to ask for Mohammed and Ahmed as your guides!

We experienced the trip of a lifetime with the help of Hany and our amazing guides in Egypt & Jordan. Every detail of our 12-day private tour was thoughtfully planned out for us - which was incredibly comforting since we were visiting these countries for the first time and could rely on their local expertise to ensure the best experiences. As soon as we stepped off the plane in Cairo, we felt like we were in great hands with every person we connected with from Luxor & Aswan Travel. Hany was very attentive to our questions and regularly checked in with us to ensure the activities were meeting and exceeding our expectations. We cultivated friendships with each of our amazing guides. Ahmed guided us through various temples along our Luxor/Aswan Nile cruise. His fun-loving attitude and deep knowledge of Egyptian mythology created lasting memories. In Cairo, we had the pleasure of experiencing the city with the expert guidance of Mahmoud. Not only did he introduce us to our favorite dish, Koshary, but he provided such wonderful background on ancient Egyptian history - not to mention an expert eye for capturing amazing photos at all of the sites we visited. Finally, we enjoyed 4 days with Mohammad in Jordan, where he took us all over his beautiful country, highlighting the history and offering once in a lifetime experiences in Petra, the Dead Sea, and Wadi Rum Dessert. We wish we had added a couple more days here. We highly recommend staying at the Wadi Rum Bubble Luxotel where you can experience breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. If you're lucky enough to get Anwar as your guide at the Bubble, he will capture epic photos and videos that will leave you awestruck. Everyone we encountered was so incredibly friendly and welcoming. We can't wait for a return visit and are grateful for Luxor & Aswan Travel for exceeding our expectations. Thank you for this trip of a lifetime!

Book with Aswan and Luxor Travel. They are very efficient. We had to reschedule- no problem! The boat was excellent. Omar our guide was top notch. Boat was clean. Food was good. There are no complaints or suggestions. We had a great time. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had the best time on our cruise from Luxor to Aswan with our tour guide, Hasan! From Hany’s quick responses via email, secure online payment method to pay via credit card for the cruise ahead of time from the U.S., to thinking through every single detail of our trip— Luxor and Aswan Travel is certainly the way to go! We truly got to relax and enjoy every second of our trip because Hasan had everything covered from having change to break our larger bills from the ATM, to making sure we always had water, to making sure we always had drivers with immaculately clean cars. Our cruise mostly had activities planned for the mornings and Hasan walked us around Aswan/Luxor both in the evening for free to show us more of the markets and cities. His genuine kindness, ability to explain the hieroglyphics and stories at every temple and tomb we went to, and stellar recommendations made us feel like we were getting the most of our trip and always feel safe and enjoy ourselves. Hany organized our Egyptian adventure flawlessly! From airport pick up to hotel, Shinez Egyptologist in Cairo/Giza, flight to Aswan & airpot pick up by Mikael egyptologist they were incredible! The knowledge they shared with was exceptional. They were so helpful and gracious with all aspects of the trip. We always felt safe and enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend Hany and his team at Luxor and Aswan Travel to anyone. We are experienced world travelers and we believe this is one of our best experiences! I booked a 6 day private excursion with Luxor and Aswan travel. I went from Cairo, Aswan to Luxor on the Nile river then back to Cairo. This was absolutely the perfect finish to my vacation in Africa. Hany made the most amazing package for me. Aswell as getting the best Egyptologist for me. The luxury cruise was 15 star and the food was out of this world. Staff was incredible and always there to help. This was beyond what I was hoping for and Mohamed Abdouh Ahmed was incredible. His knowledge and very kind heart made this the best time. I recommend asking for him by name if you want a mind blowing experience in detail and history of Egypt. Thank you Hany and Mohamed for a wonderful time.
