An excellent cruise and experience
We had excellent communication ahead of time and a driver waiting for us at the train station. (The train was a good experience too.). Our guide, Mina, was waiting on the boat and explained everything to us. Mina is getting his phd in Egyptian something, and has excellent knowledge and speaks excellent English in a loud voice that is easy to hear. He does an excellent job managing and keeping track of everyone. We had a great time touring temples. We had a group of 25 people which was a perfect number. Days were full with mornings starting at 4-5am and late evenings till 9pm. Food was good. Workers on the boat were good. We got massage on boat but wish we hadn’t because they weren’t that good. Mina collected $40USD from each person to pay out all the tips on the trip. That was nice to not need to tip throughout the day. We paid him ahead of time for tickets. We could use Egyptian or US cash or card which was very convenient. The hot air balloon company told us a month before the trip that we needed to pay an extra $50 or get refunded and not take balloon ride. I didn’t like that as it felt like a bait and switch. I paid the extra money, but in the morning we arrived and waited for an hour, and then they canceled all of the balloon rides. I can’t blame them, though, it was the governing agency canceling due to weather. The boat was older but everything was fine. The trips were excellent. Crossing the Nile was beautiful. Overall a great deal I think. The trip started with lunch at about 1pm and ended about 4pm. Then we all got rides where we needed to go.

Overall, the cruise was fine. I had the best room available on the ship, though the ship's conditions are just okay—nothing fancy. It had the essentials for the trip: a bed and a very small bathroom (especially the shower). The view from the room, however, was phenomenal.
Highlights:
Food: The food quality was acceptable; I would give it a 7 out of 10. Every lunch and dinner featured two meat options and tons of vegetable dishes to choose from.
Service: The customer service was very good. All the staff were very attentive to our needs.
Tour Guide: Our guide, King Mina, was excellent. He is very knowledgeable, easy-going, and truly went above and beyond in his attitude, knowledge, and experience.
Areas for Improvement:
Pacing of Tours: In my opinion, the tours felt very rushed, which I didn't like very much.
Ship Condition: The ship itself shows its age and definitely needs an upgrade.
Clarity on Inclusions: They could be much more explicit about what is included and what is not. At first, everything seemed clear, but in the end, there were surprises. For example, the hot air balloon ride: the booking didn't specify which flight was included, and it turned out to be only the fourth ride of the day (late morning), which is not ideal and not what we expected.

Nile cruise with King Mina
Warning! 4 days seem like 1! We had so much fun. It was an incredible experience. The ship was comfortable and everyone was very helpful and kind. Our guide, king Mina was very caring of everything. He books tickets and transportes for everyone and he answered all our questions. His professionalism and his friendliness made him the best “Egyptology teacher”we could ever had. He made us love Egypt. Thank you, Mina. We love you!!!

Absolutely amazing!
Our tour guide, King Mina, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He shared a lot of interesting information and was very willing to answer any questions and help in any way needed. He shared many useful tips for avoiding scams and making the best of our trip. The cruise included many great tours and was the perfect balance between activities and time to relax. Overall, I would definitely recommend this experience as it made the logistics of visiting each site much easier and made the entire trip more enjoyable!

Relaxing and educational voyage!
King Tut who?? King Mina is the real King around here!! Our trip would not have been complete without him. He is so
knowledgeable and clearly passionate about Egyptian history. He pointed out so many amazing details we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. He gave helpful travel tips for avoiding scams. The cruise was everything we hoped for! Just the right amount of time relaxing on the boat and many exciting stops to explore. We can’t recommend it enough.

König Mina ist der wahre König
Die Reise war großartig, und König Mina war ein erstaunlicher Führer, der uns alle wie im alten Ägypten fühlen ließ. Die Crew auf der Kreuzfahrt war sehr freundlich. Nur schlecht ist, dass wir Pech mit dem Wetter hatten, also kein Luftballon für uns. Ich schätze, wir müssen wiederkommen.

Große aber intensive Nilkreuzfahrt
Die Nilkreuzfahrt war ein fantastisches und gut organisiertes Erlebnis. Jeder Tag brachte neue und spannende Entdeckungen der Sehenswürdigkeiten und Kultur Ägyptens. Es war intensiver als erwartet, mit sehr frühen Morgenstunden.
Unser Guide Talaat war lustig und sachkundig, obwohl er manchmal etwas zu schnell Dinge erklärte und Details an einigen Tempeln übersprang. Leider wurde die Fahrt mit dem Heißluftballon abgesagt, und die Alternative war teurer. Achtung! Kaufen Sie nichts in den überteuerten Geschäften!
Insgesamt eine erstaunliche und unvergessliche Reise!

Hallo, wir hatten eine Tour mit Talaat Abdo als Reiseleiter. Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit mit ihm, ein toller Kerl, sehr ansprechbar und immer hilfsbereit. Hatte eine tolle Zeit, würde ihn sehr empfehlen.
