A Perfect Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor
Our 4 day, 3 night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor was truly unforgettable, and so much of that was because of our incredible guide, King Mina.
Our group was small, which made the experience feel much more intimate and personal. King Mina is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, kind, and genuinely loves what he does. Every tour was filled with fascinating Egyptology, but what really stood out was how he also shared information about other religions, history, and culture, giving us a much deeper understanding of Egypt as a whole.
He kept everything running smoothly, made sure we always knew the schedule, and had all of our entrance tickets organized and ready for us. The entrance fees were not included in the tour price, but paying King Mina the total of $107 USD for everything was simple and convenient. He was always happy to answer questions, had a wonderful sense of humor, and made every day enjoyable.
My favorite tour was Luxor Temple. The way King Mina brought the history to life made it one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. My husband’s favorite part was learning about the Egyptian gods, and King Mina explained everything in such an engaging and easy-to-understand way.
The Lady Mary cruise boat was beautiful, modern, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were always kind, welcoming, attentive, and eager to help with anything we needed, making us feel right at home throughout the cruise.
We also added the Nubian Village excursion, and it was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend including it if you have the opportunity.
If you’re lucky enough to have King Mina as your guide, you’re in for an amazing experience. This cruise exceeded all of our expectations, and we left with unforgettable memories and a much greater appreciation for Egypt, its history, and its people. Thank you, King Mina, and the entire Lady Mary crew, for making this journey so special!

Very nice experience!
I really enjoyed the trip! It was very well organized and Carlos, our guide, was excellent. He knew a lot about the history and knew how to transmit his knowledge, he was passionate about it and he was very clear and transparent from the beginning regarding tips, visits, etc. I highly recommend it!

King Minah
Cruise was delightful, tours were superb. King Minah our tour guide was the best and very knowledgeable and understanding to our needs and wants. I would highly recommend booking him next time round.

Family vacation
Overall the holiday was great. The cruise was sufficient the staff were very polite and efficient. The best part however was the tour guide who we spent the most time with, which was Mina. Mina was very polite and outgoing to which helped make our experience much more enjoyable. He did his utmost to help us whenever we needed it for instance when we tried to book my student tickets online he sat next to me and made sure i did it properly. He also catered to my younger brothers needs who has autism.

Nile cruise
The Nile cruise was amazing, the actual boat was not as good as we thought, food selection, pool was a little underwhelming.
Admission fees for children with hidden disabilities should be introduced. Some of the temples let our son go in free but others made it difficult and was asked to pay, our guide (king Mina) was absolutely outstanding, went out of his way more than once, fought for our son when we felt mistreated.
He explained temples in great detail, kept us intrigued and engaged on every single tour. Mina gave us the liberty that we needed and more. Without this particular guide ( King Mina) our visit would have been half as good.

Schreckliche Erfahrung
Sehr schlechte Erfahrung. Die Kreuzfahrt war sehr gut, eine 10. Aber die gewählte Tour war eine katastrophale Erfahrung. Es stimmt, dass man alles Wichtige und Angegebene sieht, aber wie bei jeder anderen ähnlichen Tour. Der Unterschied zu den anderen ist jedoch der Führer, mit dem Namen MINA. Die Erklärungen waren miserabel und kurz, die Besuche der Tempel sehr kurz, nichts im Vergleich zu der angegebenen Zeit, die sie sein sollten; einige waren sogar eineinhalb Stunden weniger als vertraglich vereinbart, wie der Tempel von EDFU, und vergiss die Kutschfahrt, man wird gezwungen, in einen Bus zu steigen. Es bleibt keine Zeit, um etwas in Ruhe zu sehen, abgesehen davon, dass der Führer dir nichts erklärt; man sieht andere Führer mit ihren Gruppen, die alles im Detail erklären, aber unser Führer zieht es vor, in das Café zu gehen und auf dich zu warten. Zu allem Überfluss gibt der Führer am letzten Tag, als er sagt, dass es heiß ist, die Erklärungen im Van und begleitet dich nicht zu den Tempeln. Außerdem wird man gezwungen, zu Kunsthandwerksläden zu gehen, die nicht in der Tour enthalten sind, wodurch Zeit für den Besuch der Tempel verloren geht, ohne die Möglichkeit, Nein zu sagen, obwohl niemand aus der Gruppe dorthin gehen wollte. Dann gibt es das Thema des Heißluftballons; das Unternehmen veröffentlicht es, obwohl es weiß, dass sie für drei Monate von der ägyptischen Regierung abgesagt sind, und es kostet viel Mühe, das Geld zurückzubekommen. Dank Viator haben wir es geschafft. Wähle also besser eine andere Tour oder bitte zumindest darum, nicht den Führer zu bekommen, der uns zugeteilt wurde.

We had the best guide we could have asked for during our two days in Luxor. From the very beginning, he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Egypt’s history and culture.
He made every visit fascinating by explaining the historical details in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. His professionalism, patience, and attention to detail made our experience truly special. He was also very organized, making sure everything ran smoothly and comfortably.
