We had a great tour guide and driver for this private tour. They both went above and beyond for us to make it a memorable day. We really appreciated their effort and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Being on a private tour is really worth it, being able to avoid the tour crowds was excellent.

Our guide and driver were waiting at the port gate as arranged even though we were 30 minutes early. We visited 5 sites with a private guide and driver for the same cost as 2 sites as part of a group of 30 to 40 with a ship's tour. Our guide Maha Emam was knowledgeable, efficient and personable, ensuring that the time was focused on our desires, not on a strict timetable. We easily beat the large groups to sites like the Catacombs, walking straight in. As we exited, there was a huge queue, many from our ship's tour group. Our driver Muhammad was safe and sure. Always in exactly the right place to pick us up and move on to the next site. This was such a good experience. I would highly recommend Maha, Muhammad and Elais Tours who communicated with us via WhatsApp, and answered questions very promptly.

Wir kamen mit dem Schiff mit einer Kreuzfahrtlinie nach Alexandria, und Kreuzfahrtreedereien bieten ihre eigenen Touren an, die extrem teuer und fad sind. Neben dem extremen Aufwand finden alle Touren in Gruppen von 40 - 50 Personen statt. Diese private Tour in einem gut klimatisierten Auto mit Fahrer und Reiseleiter kostet deutlich weniger und unsere Reiseleiterin Naelah war sehr empfänglich für unsere Wünsche. Wir wollten einige historische Stätten sehen, aber wir wollten auch den Alltag der Mittelschicht Ägypter sehen. Sie nahm uns mit in mehrere Wohnviertel, und ging mit uns auf den Straßen - es war ein tolles Immersionsprogramm für uns! Wir bekamen auch einen sehr tiefen Einblick in die Familiendynamik regulärer Ägypter, das Bildungssystem und das Gesundheitssystem sahen die Schulen und Krankenhäuser. We arrived Alexandria by ship with a cruise line, and cruise lines do offer their own tours that are extremely expensive and bland. In addition to the extreme expense, all tours are in groups of 40-50 people. This private tour in a good air conditioned car with a driver and the tour guide costs significantly less and our tour guide Naelah was very receptive to our wishes. We wanted to see some historical sites but we also wanted to see the everyday life of middle-class Egyptians. She took us to several residential neighborhoods, and walked with us on the streets - it was a great immersion program for us! We also got a very deep look at the family dynamics of regular Egyptians, the educational system and healthcare system saw the schools and hospitals. Elias Tours is highly recommended as they can customize the program according to your interests, And have wonderful tour guises like Naelah!

Geweldige dag gehad mede door de organisatie Viator het begon al bij de boot we dachten dat we door het havengebied moesten lopen langs alle vrachtwagens maar door ons contact geappt dat dat niet zo was.

Our private day tour with Mostapha was Excellent! He speaks English and was very informative about the sites we visited! Alexandria is very congested, noisy, and dirty, but Mostapha guided us safely through all the traffic to show us the Catacombes, the Ampitheatre , the Library and the Citadel. He was very engaging from the beginning and we feel like we now have a friend in Alexandria! We had a wonderful day with him and highly recommend his tours !

Alexandria ist sehr beschäftigt, laut und überfüllt mit Verkehr und Menschen. Unser Guide Mustapha Alles leicht gemacht, uns in die antiken Stätten geführt, den Verkehr verhandelt und mit seinem tiefen Wissen die Geschichte zu erklären! Er war von Beginn der Tour an sehr engagiert und sehr flexibel auf unsere Wünsche, wohin wir wollten! Wir hatten ein sehr gutes Mittagessen in einem lokalen Fischrestaurant und er rief voraus, um uns den besten Tisch zu bekommen! Wir fühlten uns, als hätten wir einen neuen Freund gefunden, mit dem er so leicht zurechtkam! Ich würde ihn jedem empfehlen, der großen zuverlässigen Service schätzt!
