Private Full-Day Luxor Highlights – East & West Banks Start your day with a hotel in Luxor, where your expert guide will welcome you for a fully guided 7-hour tour in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. West Bank – The Necropolis of Thebes Valley of the Kings Your journey begins at the legendary Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a must-see, featuring elaborately decorated tombs that reveal the splendor of ancient Egyptian beliefs and artistry. During your visit, you’ll explore four royal tombs, including: The Tomb of Ramses IV – Famous for its vivid astronomical ceiling decorations. The Tomb of Ramses III – Featuring intricate wall reliefs and historical inscriptions. The Tomb of Merenptah – The grand burial site of Ramses II’s son. Tomb of King Tutankhamun (Tut), known for its historical significance and the treasures it once held.

  2. Tomb of King Tutankhamun (KV62)
    15 دقيقة

Entrance fees to the tomb of Tutankhamun (300.00 EGP) (optional) King Tutankhamun, the most famous king in the world. This young king from the New Kingdom was around 10 years old when he ascended the throne and died when he was only 19. You will get the chance to be face to face with his royal mummy in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings

  3. Tomb of Ramses III
    15 دقيقة

The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity, the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’

  4. Tomb of Merenptah
    15 دقيقة

In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. In the or simply in its falcon form of the new deity, began to be placed in tombs to accompany and protect the dead on their journey to the West of Luxor .Tomb 8, which is located in the Valley of the Kings, was the burial place of the Pharaoh Merneptah and is the model of royal tombs Merneptah was a son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret.the tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1903. Of coursethere is a material decrease in the number of lateral rooms, and a dramatic increase in the height of the corridors and rooms. He did away with the jogged axis used since the time of Horemheb and instead built the entire tomb on a single axis. Also, for the first time, the entrance was made considerably wider than earlier tombs .

  5. Tomb of Ramses IV
    25 دقيقة

The tomb of Ramses IV (KV 2) in the Valley of the Kings is rather different than most other tombs built here. This tomb is by far the most spectacular of the other tombs you will see. The hieroglyphics on the wall depict scenes from the Litany of Ra, Book of the Dead, Book of Caverns, the Book of the Heavens, Book of Amduat, and the Book of the Night. The blue and white colors on the walls inside the burial chamber are very vibrant and you can see the king's sarcophagus made of rose-colored granite. There is also a beautiful scene of goddess Nut on the ceiling, where she is depicted swallowing the sun, and it traveling through her stomach, for Nut to give birth to it. The tomb has so much colour and detail even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across the space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.

  6. Temple of Hatshepsut
    دقيقة

After visiting the tombs you will be transported to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el Bahari), the only woman ever to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh. This queen was an ancestor of King Tutankhamun and belonged to the same dynasty.Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman ever to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh .

History Finally Made Sense – The Best Luxor Tour

We had an amazing full-day tour in Luxor with our guide Hassan and our driver Abdu. Out of all the tours we did across Egypt, Hassan was by far the best guide we had. From the very beginning of the day, he built the entire story of ancient Egypt from the ground up. Instead of just pointing out monuments, he explained how the pharaoh system began, how it evolved over time, and connected everything together in a way that finally made it all make sense. He also did an incredible job explaining Egyptian mythology and how it tied into the temples and tombs we visited. His knowledge was outstanding, but what really set him apart was his ability to explain complex history in a fun, engaging, and easy-to-understand way. He took his time at every stop, never rushed us, answered every question we had, and made the entire day feel like a conversation rather than a lecture. For the first time, we truly understood what we were looking at instead of just admiring beautiful ruins. We also had so many enjoyable conversations throughout the day beyond the history, which made the experience even more memorable. Lunch at Paris Restaurant, which was included in the tour, was also excellent and a great break in the middle of the day. A special thank you to our driver, Abdu. Anyone who has experienced traffic in Egypt knows how chaotic it can be, but Abdu was incredibly calm, professional, and safe. We didn’t feel nervous even once during the entire day—which honestly says a lot about driving in Egypt! He was friendly, punctual, and made getting between sites completely stress-free. If you’re visiting Luxor, we cannot recommend Hassan and Abdu enough. They made what could have been just another sightseeing day into one of the highlights of our entire trip to Egypt.

Amazing experience in Luxor

I had a fantastic experience today with my guide Hassan. He was extremely knowledegable and friendly, and really enriched the day. I saw everything I wanted to see, he was very flexible, and gave you the space to explore by yourself but also added huge value in his breadth and passion for Egyptology. I highly recommend this company and get Hassan as your guide if you can. Brilliant.

One day tour in luxor

We joined a one-day guided tour with Hassan, and we had a great experience. He is a very kind and friendly guy, and together with the driver they made the whole day smooth and enjoyable. Hassan speaks excellent English, and his explanations about Egyptian history were clear, engaging, and reliable. We learned much more than we expected from a typical tour. We would also like to highlight the lunch – it was the best meal we had during our trip in Egypt! We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy guide. Luxor Tour Guide

We had an absolutely wonderful experience exploring Luxor thanks to our guide, Khalid. From the very beginning, he made us feel welcome with his warm and friendly personality. His knowledge of the sites was impressive, and he shared everything with genuine enthusiasm that made the history come alive. Khalid was also incredibly thoughtful and accommodating throughout the tour. He was always attentive to our needs, flexible with our pace, and made sure we were comfortable at all times. One thing we especially appreciated was how keen he was to help us capture special moments—he went out of his way to take great photos for us, which made the experience even more memorable. Overall, Khalid is not only a fantastic guide but also a genuinely lovely person. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Luxor and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, kind, and attentive guide.

Luxor tour

We did this tour on Jan 26 as part of our family holiday and had a great experience. Our guide, Hassan, was excellent—very knowledgeable and clear in his explanations. We visited the tombs of King Tutankhamun, Ramses IV, and Merenptah, and everything was well organised. Transport, tickets, and site explanations were handled smoothly, making the whole process stress-free. Hotel pick-up and drop-off were included, and the local Egyptian lunch was enjoyed by the whole family. Highly recommended, especially with Hassan as the guide.
