Private Full-Day Luxor Highlights – East & West Banks Start your day with a hotel in Luxor, where your expert guide will welcome you for a fully guided 7-hour tour in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. West Bank – The Necropolis of Thebes Valley of the Kings Your journey begins at the legendary Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a must-see, featuring elaborately decorated tombs that reveal the splendor of ancient Egyptian beliefs and artistry. During your visit, you’ll explore four royal tombs, including: The Tomb of Ramses IV – Famous for its vivid astronomical ceiling decorations. The Tomb of Ramses III – Featuring intricate wall reliefs and historical inscriptions. The Tomb of Merenptah – The grand burial site of Ramses II’s son. Tomb of King Tutankhamun (Tut), known for its historical significance and the treasures it once held.

  2. Tomb of King Tutankhamun (KV62)
    15 دقيقة

Entrance fees to the tomb of Tutankhamun (300.00 EGP) (optional) King Tutankhamun, the most famous king in the world. This young king from the New Kingdom was around 10 years old when he ascended the throne and died when he was only 19. You will get the chance to be face to face with his royal mummy in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings

  3. Tomb of Ramses III
    15 دقيقة

The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity, the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’

  4. Tomb of Merenptah
    15 دقيقة

In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. In the or simply in its falcon form of the new deity, began to be placed in tombs to accompany and protect the dead on their journey to the West of Luxor .Tomb 8, which is located in the Valley of the Kings, was the burial place of the Pharaoh Merneptah and is the model of royal tombs Merneptah was a son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret.the tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1903. Of coursethere is a material decrease in the number of lateral rooms, and a dramatic increase in the height of the corridors and rooms. He did away with the jogged axis used since the time of Horemheb and instead built the entire tomb on a single axis. Also, for the first time, the entrance was made considerably wider than earlier tombs .

  5. Tomb of Ramses IV
    25 دقيقة

The tomb of Ramses IV (KV 2) in the Valley of the Kings is rather different than most other tombs built here. This tomb is by far the most spectacular of the other tombs you will see. The hieroglyphics on the wall depict scenes from the Litany of Ra, Book of the Dead, Book of Caverns, the Book of the Heavens, Book of Amduat, and the Book of the Night. The blue and white colors on the walls inside the burial chamber are very vibrant and you can see the king's sarcophagus made of rose-colored granite. There is also a beautiful scene of goddess Nut on the ceiling, where she is depicted swallowing the sun, and it traveling through her stomach, for Nut to give birth to it. The tomb has so much colour and detail even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across the space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.

  6. Temple of Hatshepsut
    دقيقة

After visiting the tombs you will be transported to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el Bahari), the only woman ever to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh. This queen was an ancestor of King Tutankhamun and belonged to the same dynasty.Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman ever to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh .

Full day tour in Luxor

Our tour was exceptionally well-organised from start to finish. Even during peak season with large crowds, everything ran smoothly, and we moved seamlessly between sites. The itinerary was packed with incredible sights, making for a truly immersive experience in just one day. Hassan was fantastic—full of energy and enthusiasm, providing us with fascinating insights at every stop. The meal break was in a lovely setting, adding to the overall enjoyment. Highly recommend this tour!

Best Egypt Tour

Hassan is the absolute BEST tour guide! He went into detail about everything and was super knowledgeable. If you are into learning the history, he is very good at explaining the back story of Egypt. I am from the US and his English is very good. He lets you take your time and I highly recommend him and his driver Alam!

I took my dad on...

I took my dad on father/son trip to Egypt. Hasan was our guide for a private tour around Luxor and we were truly blessed to have him. You can tell he truly cares about his work as a tour guide and also his customers. He has such in depth knowledge of the dynasties in Luxor and shares it in a way that's fun and clear to digest. He took his time and listened to any questions and look out for any needs we had. Even the shopping stops were an experience for us. Thanks for a truly memorable experience in Luxor!

Fantastic private tour of Luxor

Our tour guide Hassan went above and beyond to show us the sights of Luxor! We had agreed to see the valley of the Kings, Queens, and temple of Hatshepsut. On the morning of the tour we expressed an interest in also seeing the temple of Karnak and Hassan was happy to add this to the tour (for a reasonable additional cost). He also showed us an alabaster workshop, and traditional papyrus making shop. He took us to a local restaurant for lunch which was divine (roast chicken, koftas, rice, pickles, vegetables, spinach, and all washed down with fresh fruit juice). Hassan was friendly, very knowledgeable, and shared facts and nuggets of information throughout, helping us to acquire tickets and avoid hawkers. We would definitely recommend him, and if we return to Luxor would happily book him as a guide again.

Totally recomended tour!

In 5 hours we show all the necessary monuments, guided by a person who knew exactly what we needed, not many unnecessary details, but capable to answer our questions at the same time. The driver was excellent, the car clean and punctual. That tour is "obligatory" for anyone who visits Luxor.

Kindest guide and a beautiful day

I learned so much and the guide was phenomenal. My best day in Egypt by far. From tombs and learning all about temples and the beautiful culture to getting gorgeous handmade alabaster, I HIGHLY recommend this tour.
