Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’

Exceptional tour and sights.

The hot air ballooning was beyond description. It was far better than we imagined it could be. Then the private tour was simply amazing. We learned so much and were able to experience most of the sites in Luxor. Our guide, driver, and host were all safe, courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive to detail. It was a magical day.

Luxor with the best

Skip Cairo and head to Luxor. A must is obtaining Abdullah as your guide. He has generations of knowledge, is friendly and highly enjoyable company. Certainly the highlight of my time in Egypt.

Bait and Switch, you will pay for the Great Attractions

Hot air balloon and selfie with King Tut were highlights. The tour itself really does hit the major attractions which are amazing. Our guide was knowledgeable but did not seem very enthusiastic about us or showing us around. We kinda felt like a burden, he was usually walking far in front of us and put us in the back of the boat instead of letting us choose where we wanted to sit, making a sexist remark (maybe in jest, but actions suggested otherwise). We were offered the hot air balloon ride at a lower price, but when it came time to pay, they asked for $20 more each and did not honor the offer, a total bait and switch. Also, the price does NOT include tickets to the attraction unlike other tours which take care of everything in the price.

A MUST DO IN LUXOR!! Worth the cost and more!

One of the highlights of my trip to Egypt. Beautiful sunrise, happy people, and the BEST pilot. The early 3am wake up call to be there by 4am was completely worth it because you get to witness the sunrise. I was in complete awe of the majesty and history I saw from the air. Smooth ride and we were in great hands. Our guide Ragab was extraordinary!

Warm, Confident Guide

Hassan is an incredible guide. This was my first trip to Egypt and with Hassan everything went very smoothly. We visited amazing sites. Hassan provided great insights. He was knowledgeable about the history, geography, and current policies governing Egyptian heritage. Hassan is very well known. We were warmly greeted by friends at several points and he made me feel very at ease and confident as we move through the day. Hassan also made great recommendations on what to see and where to spend time, which kept me from wasting precious minutes during a very full day. Hassan was great at giving me options and suggesting places to visit if I had time/interest. I would highly recommend him and will definitely seeking him out when I return to Egypt in the future.

Great day in Luxor!

We took this tour because we only really had one day in Luxor. The hot air balloon was really cool. We didn’t know but if you do this tour we recommend asking your hotel for a food box or pack something because you won’t eat until lunch. It is a long day of seeing all the sights but we had a great air conditioned car and driver with cold bottled water and a cooler if you bring more water you can leave it there to stay cold. We had Hassan as our tour guide. Best guide ever! We really loved his knowledge and that he let us explore after telling us stories about the sites. My husband really love the Habu Temple that Hassan recommended. We highly recommend the tour and ask for Hassan as your guide! Also lunch was delicious!

Efficient tour with ample time at each stop. Take care of the souvenir places.

Great tour to go around the key sites in Luxor. Very efficient yet still have enough time at each site to be educated from the guide to understand the significance of the place + take plenty of pictures. I joined in September when it was over 40 Celsius. Very glad I had a air conditioned car and driver to go around. The guide, Mahmoud Haggag was very informative with the sites and also considerate, kindly asking us if we had enough time etc. Great guide. I’ll give it a 5, since we had an overall good experience, but did see some areas of improvement. Like other 4 star reviews mention, the souvenir alabaster place was pretty pushy, touting visitors to buy things. They would go easily down to 50% of initial indicated price, very untrustworthy. Ended up not getting anything but wasn’t a pleasant experience. Also there was another spice place which had stuff which interested me and I did purchase, but the same, initial price was twice what we eventually agreed to.

Beyond Excellent Experience

Our guide, Hasan Basit, was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He was accommodating beyond what was necessary, and made us feel like we were sightseeing with a friend. He was very engaged with the information and was clearly passionate about what he was telling us. Overall an exceptional guide and man. We wish him the best & recommend him with gusto!
