The grandeur of Karnak
Walking through Karnak Temple, with its towering columns and massive open-air hypostyle hall, felt like stepping back in time. The scale, the detail, and the history are just mind-blowing. Our guide Mena was great! Told us about the history and significance of what we were seeing.

We had a great experience...
We had a great experience with our tour. Our tour guide Mohammad was very knowledgeable and the pace of the tour was very comfortable. Also impressive language skills. Even our driver spoke some German and drove us all the way to the other part of the city. After the tour we directly booked a second one. Would definitely recommend!

Nice half day tour of temples
It was a good half day tour to visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Learned a lot from our guide Sayed. It was a quick tour but packed with opportunities to discover ancient history. We left the hotel at West bank around 730am and back already at around 11:30am. Thanks to our driver Ahmed who was very safe on the road and even offered to stop at the shop before we head back to the hotel just in case we needed something.

Luxor and Karnak temples
Had a great time in our tour of Karnak and Luxor temples with Sayed. Sayed is very knowledgeable and passionate about history. Ahmed took care of driving us for the tour, everything was exactly on time. Highly recommend.

More than the expected
My wife and I have taken guided tours in a dozen countries and we have never had a more generous and dedicated guide than Sayed. Our tour of Luxor Temple was scheduled for the middle of the afternoon. Sayed offered to take us to our hotel, then come back on his own time later in the evening to show us the temple when the weather was cooler (and the photos more vivid). He also negotiated “local” prices for us at shops and restaurants without ceremony, and he never made us feel like our needs or questions were an imposition. We felt more like close friends being hosted than customers of a service. To us, this was truly exceptional, above and beyond what was expected. He was inexhaustibly knowledgeable about all the sites of interest, and his passion for the hieroglyphic engravings in particular was infectious for everyone in our group. Six stars out of five, we are telling all our friends to ask for Sayed by name.

East Bank Tour, Luxor
For our second day in Luxor, we visited the Karnak and Luxor temples. We were very happy we got Sayed as our tour guide again. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, especially when my kids asked questions or wanted to take short breaks. Excellent tour for a family with teens.

Excellent Tour of Karnak and Luxor Temples
We had an amazing tour of Karnak and Luxor temples with Sayed Gamal (guide) and Mostafa (driver). Sayed explained the history and context of everything we were seeing. The vehicle was spacious and clean. The temples themselves were stunning. Two thumbs up for this tour!!

Well-Planned Tour with a Kind Guide and No Tourist Traps
The overall tour lasted about three hours, which felt a little short, but the guide provided clear and detailed explanations and was very professional. The driver was also excellent — smooth driving, great air conditioning, and a very comfortable ride throughout. Both the guide and the driver were freelancers, so the experience might vary depending on who you get, but the tour plan itself was well thought out and enjoyable. One of the best parts of this tour was that there were no forced stops at souvenir shops! In other tours I’ve taken, we were unexpectedly taken to places not listed in the itinerary — such as shops selling essential oil blends, papyrus stores, alabaster workshops, or places selling name-engraved hieroglyphic necklaces. These stops often felt awkward and unnecessary. However, our freelance guide Mena didn’t do any of that, which made the tour feel stress-free and relaxing. I believe the tour company itself also avoids those kinds of detours, so I recommend it to anyone who wants to avoid being pressured into buying overpriced souvenirs. Also, when I started feeling a bit unwell from the heat, Mena kindly bought me a bottle of cold water, which really helped. I truly appreciated that kind gesture.

Karnak and Luxor Temples
Sayed made Karnak and Luxor Temples a highlight of our trip to Egypt. The history, and sheer scale of these ancient sites are absolutely breathtaking. Our guide was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. They brought the history of these temples to life with fascinating stories and detailed explanations, pointing out things we would have otherwise missed
