Visit a shipyard and see how fishing boats are built and restored using traditional methods. The largest mosque in Hurghada is situated nearby. Here you can learn more about Islam, the main religion of Egypt. You will then continue to the oldest Coptic church in the city. At the end of the tour you will visit the large fruit and vegetable market before you are dropped off back at your hotel.

We were picked up at the hotel and it was ok, definitely not a new car, and the windows blocked by net, so a little hard to look, which was unfit since half the trip was to drive around and see things from the car. We were driven to some markets that were really exciting and that we had not found ourselves. It was also nice to see Coptic church and mosque, but the guidance knowledge of the things we saw was limited. The trip had a far too long stop at a tourist marina that was uninteresting and then it ended with a very long stop in a hall with souvenir junk at overpriced prices. It was a total tourist trap and the guide got a commission of what his guests bought (we had to use a number that showed we came with him). It was called Nile Pharaous on Sheraton Road, who drove buses full of tourists there. But so the guide was nice and the driver as well. We just wanted a car with a sleeve that worked and a guide who could tell more in depth and more stops out in the city among people, rather than inside a car, blinded by net for the windows. And so was the trip for animals in comparison to what else it costs in that area. We gave 150 kr (about 20 euros) per person, so when we were 7 people we got rid of over 1000 kr (140 euros) for a guide, a driver and a car, and it should have cost Max 5 euros per person. Find a cheaper trip, this is not worth the extra money.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip which was made to feel more personal than just a standard tour. Our guides asked our interests and took these on board before deciding on any additional sightseeing.. mostafa and his driver were excellent hosts and thanks for the sea shanties which made our day
