This was a terrific way to get into parts of Cairo that I otherwise might not have visited. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we were welcomed everywhere we went. The food was all very varied and delicious. It was a lot of food! I’m glad we came hungry. This will be a great memory of our trip to Cairo. Transportation was all organized from and back to the meeting place.

If you are in Cairo, you need to book this tour with Magy! She is very knowledgeable and shares all her info with you as she shows you local neighborhoods tourists would not see on their own. This is my first time in Egypt and I'm traveling alone but Magy made me feel very safe and comfortable even in area where I was the only tourist. She was also very accommodating with time as I wasn't sure exactly when I would land in Cairo. Definitely book with Magy for a unique experience with a Cairo local!

We enjoyed a huge variety of tasty and delicious food in this tour than we encountered during our entire 10-day trip in Egypt! It showcased everything Egyptians eat and drink. Our guide, Sarah, was fantastic. She was very patient and flexible, allowing us to try everything we wanted and even making an extra stop at a place we were interested in while walking that wasn't on the itinerary. I cannot recommend this tour enough. You will not be disappointed.

Magy was incredibly insightful and lovely! We took a van into the local suburbs where we tried a large variety of very local foods. Was a wonderful time! You’ll be very full by the end of it all! Thank you again for a wonderful time!

Unforgettable experience with Magy. She shares so much more than just local food. Culture, religion, daily life, family and celebrations. Her itinerary is well planned and we sampled delicious food from breakfast and spices, right through to snacks and desserts. Excellent variety. Very important to arrive hungry! We walked through local areas that as a tourist you would never find on your own. Magy even assisted in arranging a car back to my hotel. Remember to take cash to pay for car.

This food tour made the highlight reel of my trip! Magy is a rare kind of guide and all of us felt connected to the local culture in a way that went beyond tasting some legitimately delicious food. Can safely say this was not an experience I was expecting on a first trip to a new place as a tourist. If you're in Cairo, I highly recommend this tour as an essential experience. Excellent food and culture experience - guide well versed in food and contemporary culture and so easy to talk to. Loved every stop with different food, preparations, styles and spices. Appreciated that we could walk in between the different stops and see a new neighborhood (outside of the tourist zone)..

Our guide, was so interesting, explained all aspects about the food and meal times. She was entertaining and so knowledgeable regarding types the of food we ate. She created a friendly fun atmosphere throughout the tour. I would highly recommend this fabulous tour.
