Crazy night in the market
Hana, the guide was great. The dinner included was koshary which was tasty. The place we went wasn't the nicest place but it was probably clean enough.
The market itself is chaotic. It was interesting to see. Mostly exorbitantly priced chinese made garbage. We did go to one store which had apparently been there for hundred of years. I got a few things and despite haggling paid way too much.
I know this because this was day 2 of my trip and by day 12, I had seen the same stuff all up and down the nile for cheaper. I would resist the urge. Don't fall for the "my grandfather made this" stuff in the special room.
Hana was very helpful in trying to get us stuff we wanted to buy. I don't think she was deliberately steering us to places.
I would do the tour as a first time visitor.

It was nice to have a...
It was nice to have a female guide who took me round the market and shared its history. Having done other tours here I trust the guide has our interests at heart, and she took me to the “best places”. Though they were places owned by her friends and I felt really pressured to buy something. I don’t think they were much different from other stores either. I really enjoyed the rest of the time with my guide, and it was nice to feel safe exploring solo at night, I just wish I hadn’t felt taken advantage of and pressured at the stores

Great evening out.
Our trip to Khan el-Khalili bazaar in Cairo was made truly special thanks to our amazing tour guide, Hana. Her knowledge of the market and its history was impressive, and she shared so many fascinating insights that really brought the experience to life. Hana's friendly demeanor and expertise made navigating the bustling bazaar a joy. The market itself is a vibrant hub of activity with so much to see and experience, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide to help us discover it all. A truly great experience!

5/5 introduction to Cairo
Hana, our guide, was very friendly and she had a lot of knowledge to share about Egypt and Cairo. We were lucky to be the only ones at the tour because of the low season so it was very customized for us which was great. The food was very good and we got nice souvenirs for ourselves. True value for money! 🫶

His Spanish is excellent and we had a very pleasant talk.

Spectacular
It was great! Gugu is a very attentive guide! He speaks Spanish very well. As we traveled by car to the Nis bazaar I explained each monument, we entered the second largest mosque in Egypt which was awesome!! We walked through the bazaar, had a delicious coffee, and went shopping.
We ended the night dining in a typical restaurant with and the food was great I highly recommend the Kushari.
I highly recommend this tour!!

Great experience
Our night tour with Hana was truly memorable. She brought the market to life with her youthful and vibrant energy. She had great recommendations for stores (both affordable and good quality). And we had the chance to sample some local dishes. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Night Bazaar Experience

She took me to a high-quality bazaar where I found truly beautiful handmade stone statues — an unforgettable souvenir from Egypt.
After shopping, we relaxed at a lively local café, enjoying tea and music surrounded by the vibrant atmosphere of Cairo.

Unforgettable Night Tour of Cairo with the Amazing Guide, Hana
I had the most unforgettable experience on last night’s Islamic Cairo night tour, all thanks to my incredible guide, Hana. She arrived right on time to pick me up and made me feel comfortable straight away.
Hana gave me a very personalised tour, taking the time to tailor the experience to my interests. She explained every monument in great detail and her knowledge of Egyptian history was truly impressive. I learned so much and appreciated the way she brought each site to life with her insights and storytelling.
We enjoyed a delicious traditional vegetarian dinner. After dinner, she took me to a fantastic local tea place where I had one of the best teas I’ve ever tasted.
To top it all off, we visited some authentic souvenir shops that were far from the usual tourist spots. It was clear she knew where to find quality, local items, and I picked up some really special pieces.
Hana was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also warm, passionate, and genuinely committed to making sure I had a great time. I strongly recommend this tour and Hana to anyone looking for an authentic and enriching Cairo experience.
