During my visit to Cairo, I did two different cruises at approximately similar price points. This one felt significantly overpriced for what was offered. • The cruise started late. • Nile Crystal does not meet five-star standards; it felt closer to a one- or two-star experience by normal benchmarks. • The food quality was poor, although the desserts were acceptable. • Drinks were extremely overpriced — $10 for a very small portion. In short, the focus seemed to be more on taking money than providing quality entertainment or service. I would recommend choosing a dinner cruise in the main cruise area near Tahrir Square instead. Don’t waste your evening or money on this option.

Worked well with pickup and ride back. Dinner on the boat was good and there was plenty to choose from. A little too many people like there are everywhere in Cairo.

It was okay activity. The organisation by the operator was good for the vip service. Prior communication by WhatsApp, on time pick & drop, sitting nearest to the show etc. The buffet had many items but mediocre cooking. The kofta was not well done and the server was serving only two pieces. The dances by the girls were not good quality. Belly dancing was no where near to the quality in Morocco for example. The tanoora show was good. Some songs were also good. Overall okay. Better than nothing. The trip is in fact only 1.5hours in the cruise. I don’t know if there is any better cruise in Cairo!

This was a mediocre experience. While the driver arrived on time to pick us up, he did not communicate well with us about what was needed to board the boat. When it was time to board, we had to track him down, and he seemed confused about getting the ticket that we needed in order to board. When I mentioned this to the tour coordinator after the fact, he made it seem like everything happened the way it should have...which was not the case. The cruise itself was average, at best. The food was good, and the attendants were attentive, but that entertainment was underwhelming. Aside from the belly dancer (who was great) and the older gentleman who knew how to count to 10 in multiple languages, the rest of the dancing was not very good, and was not very entertaining. Not sure I would do this activity again.
