Spectacular
We were a group of 4 (family) and had a wonderful time on our 3 day cruise including a trip to Abu Simbel. we booked with Journey to Egypt based on the great feedback on TripAdvisor, and we would highly recommend them - everything from booking onwards was straightforward and professional, and Osama responded to all queries immediately. Our boat was the Le Fayen, with beautiful cabins (great air con) and a lovely sun deck with pool and jacuzzi. The trips to the antiquity for all the sites was by air conditioned van, so comfortable in what was an unseasonably warm September. For us the experience was amazing with our Egyptologist guide Romany who pointed to the important parts as there is just so much to see on this 3 day tour. Having such a professional, engaging and knowledgeable guide made the trip seamless for us and made the trip very special for us.

An absolutely fabulous experience
This was a trip of a lifetime! Our outstanding guide, Tamer, was extremely knowledgeable and ensured our entire journey was smooth and comfortable. We enjoyed our time with him very much.
Our boat was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and personable. There were many delicious options to choose from at each meal. Traveling by boat was a relaxing way to enjoy this journey.
Journey to Egypt was a wonderful company with which to work. They respond promptly and helpfully to correspondence. We feel so fortunate to have been their guests.
We highly recommend adding Abu Simbel to the experience in Aswan. It was incredible.

See Egypt with Tamer!
Our trip from Aswan to Luxor with Tamer was absolutely fantastic! Not only is he a very knowledgeable Egyptologist but very fun and provides helpful logistical details along the way. We had the best experience ever! Highly recommend visiting Egypt with Tamer!

Brilliant service and 5 star Nile cruise
We just completed our 4 day luxury nile cruise with them and it was beyond amazing. Don't hesitate about booking this tour with them, they were so attentive and put a great itinerary together. We learnt so much and are still in awe of everything we saw.
Our tour guide Jon was great! Would highly recommend him. He is so knowledgeable and very helpful. He explained things so well, and apart from explaining everything at the sights he also used visual guides to really help us understand and imagine what things were like back then. He speaks passionately about history, he's so friendly, patient and professional.
We some early mornings but that meant we got to the sights before the big groups arrived which gave us time to appreciate the temples and take plenty of pictures without too many people.
The cruise itself - we were on board the Amwaj. The cruise is great! Service, food, housekeeping all 5 stars. Journey to Egypt (Osama and Jon) ensured we were receiving the best service while we were onboard as well.
Other call outs: definitely make sure you book the hot air balloon in Luxor, they work with a great company for this trip, it was safe and overall a great experience. They hired great spacious & air conditioned vans for all the day trips to the temples, we were 4 adults travelling together (one being 6ft tall) and we were always comfortable.

Worth your money
All the tour guides were awesome! A special shout out to Michael Samir who looked after us in Luxor though. Michael was extremely flexible in the pace that we wanted to do the tours at, which I very much appreciated. He was a real good laugh and his English was 👌

Awesome
Lifetime experience, the best part of our vacation so far, everyone was so nice and treated us like royalty. Our guide on this leg of the journey John should be promoted, he was so knowlegable about all eqyptiin info and our questions. He went above and beyond to make sure our experience was amazing.
I was having some stomach issues very bad during this part of our trip. John went above and beyond took us to a pharmacy and within a day what could have ended our trip, i was all good. You cant get that experience or service anywhere especially on some trips ive been on.
Our drivers were great and on time. John knowing the language and making sure all our excursions were w reputable people made the experience that much better.
Thanks john and journey to egypt for making our lifelong dreams of coming to egypt awesome and very memorable.
I will recommend this trip to all my firends and will ask for John in aswan/luxor and Alfred in cairo.
Alfred knows the lay of the land and made our experience in cairo totally successful. All the sites we wanted to see Alfred made it happen. He also knew what to see and what to avoid, saving us time and money. This guy is the real deal keeo him guiding in cairo, hes the best for that area.
We will be sending our family to travel w Osama and Journey to Egypt.

Once in a lifetime experience
To start, booking and communicating before our arrival with Osama was fast and simple. The tour itself was breathtaking and elevated by the explanations of our friendly guide John. We would absolutely recommend him for a once in a lifetime experience. John was very attentive to our needs and knowledgeable. The visits were well arranged and we always arrived ahead of the crowd in order to enjoy the temples and the scenery in all its beauty. All the traveling and accommodations were taken care of by Journey to Egypt according to our requests. John would even go above and beyond and offered many additional activities for us to do. The visit to Abu Simbel before setting sail from Aswan was absolutely magical. Traveling down the Nile also provided the opportunity to explore the amazing sights along the way whilst also relaxing aboard to recharge your batteries between the various wonders of ancient Egypt. We highly recommend Journey to Egypt and for you to experience the awe inspiring beauty of upper Egypt in all its glory thanks to their formidable guide John.

An amazing trip to Egypt
My husband and I had no idea where to start with planning our Egypt trip, but I am so glad we found Journey to Egypt and had our tour guide, George. The Princess Sarah was clean, the food was good, and everything ran smoothly. Our tour guide, George, made the experience even more enjoyable by being knowledgeable about all the places we visited, getting everything set up for us, and answering any questions we had. The Abu Simbel and Hot Air Balloon tour are musts, and George was happy to let us spend extra time at whatever we wanted and acted as our own private photographer. I highly recommend, and ask for George.

Planned to perfection by amazing guides!
The best tour I have ever been on.
Everything ran like clock work! The guides made everything so easy !!
The guides would meet us in the lobby as soon as we arrived in port and a private car would be waiting. the drivers where safe and the cars were so comfortable. The guides even queued for us at the ticket stand. Their knowledge and delivery of information was fantastic and their level of English was superb.
If you want to see the highlights of the Nile without any stress or hassle whatsoever you should book with Journey to Egypt.
The guides went the extra mile every opportunity they got. A huge thank you to Aida George and Tamer Soliman, you were the best!!!

Perfect experience on the Nile
Abanoub was the perfect tour guide for us, he was very passionate about his job and you could see his dedication, sense of responsibility and real care for us. We were always among the first to visit a temple, avoiding the crowds, leaving sufficient alone time to explore. His recommendations were reliable. He was very flexible with us, always on time. We really appreciated his care and kind way of guiding us. Thank you so much for a great experience. We also had some change of plans and mr Osama made it very easy for us, very fast and flexible. Thank you Abanoub, we highly recommend this Nile cruise experience!
